hello, have anyone tryed to make an r99 heavy to look like an r99 light armor?
I have just try it, i mke the boots and the gloves but when i try to make also the breastpate and the gaiters its say's that the item doesnot meet the requirements....
Any solution to this???
It's obvious they don't meet the requirements, they're different kinds of armor. All appearance armor need to be of the same kind of the armor you're going to reskin (es. Eternal light can only get the appearance of, let's say, Draconic LA set, not Imperial Crusader set).

What's weird is that it allowed you to change the appearance of the boots and gloves. You're not supposed to be able to do it.

That's because those items aren't classified as "Heavy, Light, Robe" per say. But rather "Gauntlet and Boots" ~

When it comes to the chest pieces though~ ouch.

You can check that they're not like that because the mage passive skill that shortens spell cast by half only is activated when you equip a torso and bottom that are of Robe type, you could wear "Heavy" gauntlets and boots~ won't change a thing.

Except that the set bonus won't be fully available...
