Just a few questions for those that are already there:
Reading the patch notes and skills list I see the Othello Fortune Seeker gets plunder and mug; other than the damage inflicted they read the same in that they both steal items. Do either of them actually take an item such as weapon or armor, or just mats listed in the drop tables others have posted?
I'm also a bit confused about diversification. I recently awakened an ISS Doomcryer and Feoh Stormscreamer, in doing so I did not see an option to choose anything else...and it was after the latest update. I saw the other classes but nothing at all to choose the other options with my chosen class. I obviously missed something.
The reason I ask is because I am considering leveling up my DE ghost Hunter then awaken as Othello Fortune Seeker but unclear on how to do it.
Please forgive what may seem like noobish questions but I am not finding clear answers using search...I see that it can be done but it doesn't explain how.
Only pre-Lindvior awakened characters could freely choose their specialization belonging to their archetype class.
In short, your Ghost Hunter toon can only awaken as an Othell Ghost Hunter, because it wasn't awakened before Lindvior hit our servers.
The "items" word only refer to the items available in the spoil lists (basic materials, weapon and armor fragment). There's no word about the chance to spoil full items from mobs. The only case I'm aware of is some S80 polearm spoilable in Dragon Valley... But that was long ago.

Got it, thanks. As far as items I could be mistaken and maybe this is why I have it stuck in my head but I thought spoilers of old, as in around c1 timeframe could get actual items back then. I like the idea of getting "extra" mats when hunting but gear would make it a lot sweeter. I can understand why they don't though.
I now have a dilemma and a choice to make between the two classes....hmmmm.
