What've you've essentially gone and done, is given someone ridiculous power for the lovely price of 5 dollars, you've given them the guise of "Temporary" however you can buy unlimited packs and stack them, so essentially 50 packs (250 dollars) will buy you a full epic boss jewelry set which usually would cost upwards of 300 billion adena.
Not only does this MURDER the market, but it demotivates the remaining player base and honestly just ruins pvp. The level of pay to win was acceptable before, although annoying at times... However this is on par, actually no, it's beyond the F******K UP that you guys managed with DEWR.
Have you seen what these jewels can do, do you even look ingame? Suddenly anyone with 35 dollars can put 2.1 TRILLION adena worth of epic jewels into their party on a whim, and not only can they do this for 2 weeks which is annoying enough, but for the lovely price of 60 dollars a month, they can do this for an UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE WHOLE GOD**** GROUP OF SEVEN.

It suck for those few ones with permanent version of those items but made life of rest a bit easier. Top clans will still stay top, it's not only about equipment.

i'm sure... that even if you have the full version, you could sell it, and pay real money to have these temp ones... and you'd have more adena to do anything in game like enchanting skills, and junk like that.

The hardcore players and/or in big clan players that would exclusively have access to these will still need them/have to get them to use in olympiad , everyone else can simply buy the timer versions of them and be on par. This should be a pvp boost not a pvp killer , as for the epic market incase you missed it was already saturated heavily..

Since you guys can only see the immediate action.. let me break it down for you..
People with real epics and Istinas/Octavis started selling them for Real money, so they could equip their CPs with full epics.. they did.. and they have jewels for like 3-4 months.
It was always the same person that bought the jewels for this specific party.. meaning.. in 3-4 months.. the "randoms" will have less jewels.. and no adena to buy the epics from the person that is buying them atm. He's doing it right.. by playing the market... he will have control over it in 3 months.. Epic Market.. is a stupid gold mine..
What will happen.. pick one
1) CPs Will have to start PVPing in Eternal/Seraph jewels
2) CPs will give up PVP
3) CPs will go on RMT market to buy Adena.. so they can buy real jewels.
Who will win?? NC.. and the RMT farmer and market controller.

Go watch a few pvp vids from the top pvp clans, they will not show you any indication of pvpers being poor. At all. The use of l2 store items is pretty much obvious in them.

Can't help wondering if "SP Grind" at the renewed Hellbound to get the upcoming abilities will be so hard that you'll need full blessed epic jewel set to hunt or its just for improving NC's end year bottomline.

People who enjoy pvp'ing will be pressured to buy these packs. For those who buy them, it will close the gap between the current have and have-nots, but those who don't buy them won't have a chance in daily skirmish-type pvp. It's definitely a trade-off.
With the limited-time to buy, but then the packs last forever unless opened: this is how NCsoft tests items in the l2store. Hopefully they will become a permanent item in some form (rental boss jewels), because although I could afford $10/mo to have boss jewels, I can't afford to "stock up" and spend a couple hundred dollars right now. Even if I could, I wouldn't. I'd rather wait and see (like with the power shirts).
At this point in the game, you are virtually forced to pay to keep up. What's even more pathetic is the fact they keep making things in game more difficult to obtain then it was in the recent patches, and now conveniently "Sell" you items to get back what you use to have.
The game finally became 100% Pay to Win and with an unexpected twist: If you don't buy a years supply of blessed epics right now you might as well give up on open pvp.
I honesty don't understand that NCWest move with those epics. Behind the argument "this is to fight against the RMT" it only appears like a desperate attempt to get a lot of cash very fast from players. I more of less agree with putting some limited epics in store but why for such a limited time ? Basically NCWest wants all of us to spend 300$ NOW to be competitive in pvp for the next 2 years...
Serously NCWest staff should stop acting like some shareholders who have no clues about how the real business work (game mechanics/economy here) and only short time profits.
This is an unacceptable move by NCwest. You encourage players to start thinking quit this game and moving "elsewhere". The reason? Pay to win method. Even players with no pvp skill, but with a big credit card, can seem strong in daily pvp's. We got the message NCwest. Wealthy players are the priority. - brilliant EWR\EAR scrolls with 100% chance to enchant weap\arm (Russian Off style:D)
- lucky stones for augmentation. 2 different kinds - passive or active reflection. if use this item when augment weapon - 100% get active or passive (by item kind) reflection
- super-puper-hardcore pack. this pack included - Scroll of NCWest Power (if use this item your character become a 99 lvl, all skills learned and enchanted by +10, for 14 day's), Scroll of NCWest Hero (use this item after use Scroll of NCWest Power and become a hero in your class for 14 day's period)
also sell DEWR and pvp\pve stones in shop. community need it!:D

1.2 Some boter have 1 bot train in HF, 1 bot train in GF and 1 at Harnak. After "hard work" during months he can afford to buy 1 of those epics for his main.
2. RMT:
2.1 Some ebayer got alot adena from one of those "bad sites" or from one of his "good friends" and bought bottle/blessed epic from AH or "black market". Also, some such ppl can directly buy epics using real money, from Top clans, "friends" or randoms.
2.2 Some Top clan, who have alot adena (from boting,RMT or some other ways) buy epics for adena and sell for real money. Also, they can buy adena from boters for real money, buy bottles from AH/player/other clan, make blessed epic and sell to ebayer for real money again, so they can make good profit of real money.
3. Exploiting:
Was alot Tauti rings droped to random "players" with nicks qwerty or 123312 during 1st day of one good event at every server. I still think it's was exploit.
And few legit ways: bottle/blessed epic from event/Aden Prize Wheel/L2 Store - chance very small and usually ppl who get those not using for themselves, but sell for real money/adena and again, it's just little adds to big black market.
So, while some big boters/businessmans making alot of money in all those cases, NCWest got few bucks only from Aden Prize Wheel/L2 Store for support our game. And ofc it's their fault that money going to some smart guys, but now looks like something changed, black marked crashed, and money flows, even bigger then boters has from epics, will go to NCWest, so if you still QQ and read this wall of text - this pack will be in store and without any timer!
btw, I suggest Juji or GMs check all owners of blessed epics/tauti/wyrm how they got it - and if RMT found - vanish epic or ban pls. So they can join us buying those good packs ;)

Did the guy who had this Extraordinary idea taught that those epics give SO MUCH MAGIC RESISTANCE.... that's for even the TOP mage of a server with some Good weapon is completely disabled?

You're implying that all of the top bot clans that farm epics do actual work in this game by buying adena and using automated programs. Also, that people who are buying Ncoin didn't earn their money in order to buy Ncoin.

I actually spent more money RL every weekend shopping/going out then the 1,5yr worth of epics I got myself as a gift and also back in the day paying subscription for my 5 accounts was actually more then that ;)
bottom line not everyone cares about spending a little money on something they enjoy doing in their free time and it sure did ruin the black rmt market for those epics which in my book is a good thing..
it's P2W, be it to be better in PVP or you just use it to PVE faster but what did you expect from a F2P game ? store promotions are part of the game and imo this is much more fair then spinning the wheel of Aden nonstop till you manage to get 1 real version of those epics lolz.. in the end it's all pixels owned by NC.
don't like it move on and find something else or other place to kill your time with :)
ps, go check the topic when NCWest introduced the dewr these flames are mild compared to how that went down and it's aftermatch :P
By making $100-200 purchases mandatory they aren't going to retain players once the players realize they are spending $300+ in a game every 4 months. F2p does not have to equal squeezing $100+ out of their players in a single week every so often.

Well said, pretty my thoughts on this update in a nut shell. Believe it or not a lot of people are starting to play now because we can have fun farming, and not get 1 shotted in the process by people with glowing ++ weapons.
they should of just came out with this a long time ago ppl spent a lot of money on wheel of fortune and got nothing but SSR/BSSR ..etc

I won't really put my opinion about those Epics in the Store.. but i still have one question about this...
Did the guy who had this Extraordinary idea taught that those epics give SO MUCH MAGIC RESISTANCE.... that's for even the TOP mage of a server with some Good weapon is completely disabled?
Any regular dager,Archer healer etc..; have now so much Magic def. that's ridiculus oO

So, you try to say ppl must pay to your clan instead of NCWest? Big difference between "money for publisher/dev's" and "money for bot's/farmers". Because money for NCWest hold L2 afloat, but money for bot's make only more bot's/spammers.
lol @ all the "top dogs" who did not cash out before these things hit the L2 Store. lol @ all the hard work to get top blessed epics and farm them as a clan. I play like 3-4 hours a day and i barely hit 98. Now i can be cool guy and have all the same blessed epics as you foreveralone no lifers who spent endless hours playing this game to get those jewls
I think the most people here mad are the ones who spent actual $ buying from RMT, otherwise why care if they put this in the store? This is a video game to entertain, everything is attainable through HARD WORK which is a better feeling then buying them the easy way.
this existed for Months already in Korea and it most likely will be on Innova as well so you guys will stop play L2 completely ?

for Oly farm you will still need real epics
I see improvement steps on NCStore.
It would be perfect if:
1. All epics were shadow (even the ones farmed from bosses)
2. All shadow epics could be used inside olympiad and coc
3. Shadw epics were available at any time, not time limited offers
4. Shadow epics were 100% from pack and not designed for Koreans who love to gamble.*
Don't judge what I said if you haven't seen the benefits in first hand from such a system (with shadow epics).
NC makes money. There is no rmt on epics. You don't have to be a no lifer playing with 3 computers in order to have access epics.
*Just put a higher price on them not have people disappointed when they open packs and find crap inside.
yea this is rerally a crappy move on ncsoft to make these 14 day jewel and not have a timer on the boxes is junk so now ppl can run around with fake jewels that they did nothing to EARN!! and makes all my crazy expensive EPICS useless thanks alot for us who spent alot of adena and worked hard to earn "REAL" epic u just screwed us over pretty good now some ********* has same gear as me and its all "FAKE" "BOUGHT" crap u should have put a time frame on these boxes seriously
