Just wondering. I have been looking for a mmorpg to play. And i tried EQ2 but i get some kind of error about the font. So i decided to try this game. But i am just wondering if it is a good game. Want some good pvp action that i haven't had in years from other games.
So any suggestions would be nice and if anyone would like to help me out.

Not worth it, unless ofc you got hmmm 15-20k USD to spend.
I think the problem is not how much exp u get in X time, (yes i agree i takes quite long sometimes) but that the game has just reduced to log in, do instances, log out, just that, from 85+ things goes bored, i used to play 15 hs daily now i just play maybe 12 hs per week, the things were out of hands, and that's why u probably go bored if u play the time u said u do, the way i see it..., things went out of control, because the market itself, i mean, by example, u can barely casual pvp, not like before, now u really have to choose your enemies, there is no balance at all, everybody puts real money and enchant everything to +16, so how do you expect, to beat someone by playing 1 or 2 hs per day, totally impossible, the game also lost the flavor of pk, now you don't even drop, your gear gets destroyed and u got a stupid penalty buff that lower your atk an def to 5% YES TO 5% OF YOUR FULL POWER, it takes you a lot of time to make money to equip yourself because of the -999999999% drop rate that NcSoft setted so you are obligated to buy NCoin to get rid of your karma by buying Reputation Scrolls or to have some adventage. Then there is the problem that it takes sometimes to build a party, because ppl seems to be ******ed lately or too many bots, it's hard to find healers or tanks if u solo, or your clanies ar not online, and well... there is the bot problem so.... i don't want to tell u to not play but to be honest... playing 1 or 2 hs per day, definitly this OFFICIAL SERVER is not for you, that's the sad reality.
Yeah i am. Just wanted to get some of the people's opinions that play the game. While i am waiting for it to download. So it sounds like playing a healer would be my best bet eh? I was wanting to play a healer this time around anyway.
Dont start to play here or atleast not on NCsoft server,L2 is goodgame but Ncsoft is crap company that keeps banning wrong player while the whole world in L2 is full of bots,ncsoft staff and there bot detection fail really hard.
Healers are a mother F to play sometimes. If you know what you're doing and go *** set up right with macros you can do it. Be aware though people die in a 85 kartia and YOU are going to have to answer for it.
I love my Iss, my tyrr maestro isn't too bad either. I don't play my aeore much unless we are hurting for a healer, then I do it.
If you're just looking to try it, go for it. It is free basically,but if you are looking to be on top in your server then it's going to cost real money.

I have never understood these types of posts. Jump in with both feet and figure out if you like the game or not. None of us know what you want in a game, what kind of system you have, if your mom limits your gaming time, if a family member hogs the house bandwidth downloading.... um video, if you have access to disposable income or you are bedridden and can be easily entertained by the pixels of most virtual worlds.
The game is pay2win, you will see a lot of bots in pretty much all areas, and it's a typical Korean grind game, so it'll take several months until you reach end-game content.
Game is awesome but if you were my friend i wouldnt recommend you to play on this place specifically sir; well, only if you consider yourself a fully legit MMO player who wants to play to win.

the grind is the main aspect of this game
you can't be maxed out in a month with legit ways like in other modern MMOs
Hey there. The official l2 servers are good to make new friends and spend some time ingame so you can blabla and have some fun w/ them. Until there. If you dream to be THE ONE or at least ONE OF THEM this is not the right place in case you intend to play LEGIT and FOR FREE ;).

Do you like to PVP?
Do you want to PVP at end game in less than 2000 hours of grinding?
Do you like to play a game that you can acquire in-game items (with out............) that make you a better player.
Do you appreciate other people that play by the rules and enjoy having fun with PVE and PVP?
Do you like to craft items that you can use?
If you said yes to 3 or more of these questions …. I would say no.
