The sun was already hidden, and only the moonlight shining high in the sky was our only guide on the dark ocean, quiet but dangerous.
After almost two days of travel from Giran Harbor, we finally spotted the lights of the city of Hein, which it is said, is one of the most beautiful across the continent .
Upon arrival at the harbor, i left my weapons in the boat, and went out to explore the city, looking for a bit of firmness beneath my feet, after walking a long time, visit the local tavern and some drink, I decided to return to the ship to take a break, who knows, maybe the last one after all.
The wooden floor of the old and worn boat creaked with every step i took, to get to my cabin, I put my armor on and sat down in one corner of the room, used to sleep like that, I tried to, but could not sleep despite being in a safe place, I was always suspicious and I could never sleep like normal people , always expecting the worst, always waiting for some lurking enemy, ready with my hand in my sword just in case, but in the end , fatigue won the battle and i fell asleep.
The next morning when the first rays of sun touched the tallest buildings, the ship's captain rang the bells to wake them all and get ready to head to our destination , the Innadril castle where the battle was waiting. I rode my horse and I set course with the other warriors , who for various reasons , either , fame , money, or just for the sake of having an excuse to murder, joined the campaign.
The landscape was unique, rarely such of calm could be felt in the air, but that only meant one thing , the calm before the storm. After several hours riding at walking pace, we reached a bridge of imposing architecture, from which the castle could be seen in all its splendor glimmering like a spike of pearl and silver.
Upon reaching the vicinity of the castle, the guards opened its doors to our caravan, I was not surprised by its inside, in my travels, I've seen most stunning places.
After a long session of instruction about the details of the defense, I went to a place that long time ago visited, a nostalgic place that was giving me an air of peace in every wave the sea brought to that beach , that same beach a thousand years ago visited. I sat on the white sand that looked like it didn't change at all, until the defense preparations were ready, many memories came back to me, although they were confusing and strange, after learning the truth of the events that had brought me to this age, similar but at the same time so alien.
