We're aware of the issue where GameGuard blocks new tabs in Chrome from working properly while Lineage II is running. We've reached out to nProtect and are in the process of getting an update to fix the issue. We'll have more information on the fix next week.

I have been trying everything on the FAQ list to fix game guard errors but nothing seems to help... I have this problem on both my PC's since today...:confused:
Even rebooted my modem/router/computer nothing works...

use firefox/iexplorer or "--no-sandbox" mode with chrome/opera till its not fixed
tell me the code number of the gameguard error please
also if you are using xfire or the newest windows 8.1 having some issues too

Yeah forsure, they only watching google chrome users traffic on the internet, use firefox and a foil hat, you are guranteed a safe passage.
We all lose with such things being monitored, doesn't matter what browser :D
Just get rid of GameGuard once and for all, Not just this bu algo now everytime my game crash I have to restart the PC cus GameGuard error don't let me start the client.

i had this same issue after submittign a ticket and running game advosir and hijack this for the devs this is what fianlly worked for me

I noticed some Winsock discrepancies found within the report that could be contributing to this issue. To resolve this issue please do the following:
1. Click the "Start" button to bring up the Start Menu.
2. Type in CMD into the "Search programs and files" field but do not hit enter. Doing this will change your start menu to show the program "cmd.exe."
3. Right-click on "cmd.exe" and select "Run as Administrator."
4. Type "netsh winsock show catalog >C:\LSP.txt" without the quotes. This will save a file to the root of your C drive called LSP.txt. Please attach that file to this ticket. (We would like this report even if the issue is resolved)
5. Once complete, type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes. When the command is completed successfully, a confirmation appears, followed by a new command prompt line.
Once completed, please try connecting again.

I think GG updates can come at any time, without a patch to the game... The patcher doesn't do them but GG itself. So maybe if they fix it one day it will just magically work.

i was playing normally and last night when i'm trying to play got the same error..
i try all solution but nothing... :( something else I should do to fix it ? :confused:
I leave my L2 client on 24/7 for my mentees (not for bot) and I am used to be able to use my dual screen PC with Google Chrome, this is not acceptable! does anyone has anything good to say about GameGuard? now this Chrome block?
This is UNACEPTABLE!!!!! please do the calls, emails, Skype or whatever to the people that give orders and run the place and not to the clowns that made the bugs.

Better disable that gameguard . It brings only problems ( log in fail,chrome fail,etc) AND IT DON`T STOP THAT ANNOYNG BOTTERS :mad:

You're useless too, today there was 0 ******** use... i saw many people complaning that it didnt work... so I finaly enjoyed a day w/o my favorite trolls instant killing me on PK just because they forgot to remove my name from the script =D

Imposible, a GameGuard version that stop ANY bot program? that does not exist. It only works for making imposible to update your L2.ini file to improve performance of your game and to hice L2.bin process so you cant improve that neither.
I'm sorry for my boldness but gameguard dosent guard anything but ower ram, plus it interfiers with all other programs such as browsers and games. I wanna leave my seller in town and go play another game after i do my dailies, i cant couse gameguard's there and blocks games like league of legends from riot, it interfears with steam and most of its online games.

Hmm,i cant open 2d client since valiance update and i head several more players cant,all of us using windows xp.A friend couldnt open any client at all since 1-2 months ago,he installed windows 7 on same computer and now he opens 3 clients.A friend with windows 8 and IE 10,cant log at all.
I have installed IE version 8 and the latest chrome,maybe my problem is related with gameguard and these browers Vali????????

why is this thread still open ?! I have problem with Opera while running L2 so I wrote to support , they said cant help , why the hell keep losing time trying to solve chrome issues, guys just use other browser lol :confused:
This thread is about browsers not working properly while Gameguard is running... Exactly what does this have to do with PTS issues?
Because the problem is not on chrome it is on the .dll, because after this solution I could log in naia and before I couldn't.
PTS is like the normal server but not live. If I couldn't log in the pts, I wouldn't log in the live server when they would release it.
Now go all do what I told u, if u get gg error. And if doesn't help just restore from the back up point that u ll made!
