I have a Tyr Warrior DN low-level sub. I kept old RI as I thought it might be interesting to see if it lands on things level 86+. It does.
While I haven't done any empirical testing, it seems to have around a 50% chance land rate on other players of the same level but it's a full 9 second stun when it does. It certainly doesn't land as much as the new stuns of course. On mobs it seems to depend on the mob itself but it generally seems to have a higher land rate there as expected.
Also I assume it's considered the same effect as Eruption, Hurricane Rush, and Thunder Slasher as it can overwrite their debuffs and vice-versa.
Now the info is out of the way, my question is that is there evidence that would suggest the land rate verses similarly levelled/geared targets will change as levels rise? Outside of trying to maintain skill enchant learn levels? I recall reading somewhere something to that effect but I'm not sure if it was simply because it was hard to maintain skill enchant increases or that it was just a case of higher level awakened characters have better innate resistance.
In Valiance update JUMP will be reworked and it will be nicer debuff
I don't doubt that the new 'Jump' will be great. It's not like the DN is lacking stuns. at all. Having 4 (Eruption, T. Slasher, Hurricane, Rush Impact) is probably over-kill. It's more about the experiment than anything else.
At one point before the GoD update when I was actively playing, people were 'sure' old debuffs simply wouldn't land. I'm just asking for more info on what led them to have this assumption.
The assumption comes from skill level to character level, Trying to land lvl 74 unenchanted skill on 85 character in old chronicles was hard. The same way landing lv 79 on 86 would be hard, but the landrate of this skill is huge to begin with. The bigger the lvl gap, the less chance you have to land a debuff. Reason why some "judicators" have their skills at ++20 to land on istina.
