The adena compensation deposited in your warehouse if you have fishing skills learned before the update it's 1/10 the amount this skills cost you.
I.E I had lvl 14 in all fishing skill and my compensation is 222.000 adena. With this I cant even learn the first lvl of the new skills. Level 14 in the old skills is more than half of the possible learning skills, I should get compensation to learn at least the same, half of the possible levels and as I already said with this I can't even learn 1 level.
currently I think the compensation is OK, considering this VERY outdated list.

if you had lvl 14 = 73.760 adena
73,760 * 3 = 221.280 adena
my compensation was about 360.000 adena
the problem is now the fishing rods are very expensive, I have to give my old fishing rod and even pay an excessive amount of money to get a new one, even for a Fishing Rod (Novice), which the patch says.

I think they misunderstand the meaning of exchange.
For example, if I buy a dvd and pay 50 bucks for it, I do not have to pay back if broken or not working.
Now the cheapest fishing rod costs 2,400,000 Adena, almost double that Kingfisher Rod (grade B).
The most expensive 240,000,000 Adena, 20 times more than Triton Pole (grade S).
The price is very high, considering the low chance to get some fishing, which is obvious, because they already sell fishing packs in the store.
By 240.000.000 Adena is better to buy a weapon or armor set, I go to try to kill monsters, which have also made it almost impossible according other posts I've read, so I guess if you want to play L2, the best option is to go through minigame that is well done and it's fun, unless they have also ruined it in the update.
