seeing wynns pets hp

Aeore Healer Started Last reply 32 posts
So.. most wynns dont heal their pets
and its up to healers to do that

but so far im having trouble even seeing their hp
atm i rely on "pt members pet/servitor hp gauge" on screen info
but i can only their hp when im close
it also makes it hard when there are alot of mobs or if the summons are stacked on eachother and you cant see the dying one.

so any tips?
tell the summoner to use balance life then use progressive heal on the summoner. If he cannot do something as simple as click a single button to save his own pet, then let him die, finish up and replace him with a better summoner.
/agree with Yamino

There are more skills on a summoner than the pets, dots and exiles.

They just need to learn how to use them. And the fact that you heal slow with a bow is not a problem of the healer, thats just someone not using their brain when gearing up.
this bothers me also not being able to see the life bars.
not even when you scroll over them... you also can't select them even if there is only one summon like for tank or healer.

but as these experienced folk mentioned...
it is a known issue and an experienced summoner will be able to mitigate the problem by using their skills accordingly.
Clearly the devs intended for Mana Sharing not to be used ever since the change on the skill.
There is a setting in Options to See HP Gauges for Group Members' Pets and Servitors. Toggle it on.

The Reuse of Mana Share is such that it doesn't matter if you have a Bow or a Retributer. The Cast is faster, but you won't gain significantly more HPS by switching weapons unless you switch Harmonies from Warrior to Wizards to get more Reuse Reduction.

Every Mage class should at least have a Freya, at the very least, which doesn't help a lot... but it at least helps.

Some players just don't think they should have to do much more than cast 4 marks ad nauseum... Avoid those, if possible.
The ones that think that firing their bow instead of putting up marks is gonna do more damage can be avoided also.

But that 300 damage makes a difference Smittie! D:
The dots do more difference, spam those, on a magic crit you get all the dot dmg up front + the dot dmg.

The dots do much more damage than you'll do with swinging/firing any weapon thats for sure.
Yamino... Ever heard of irony?
Does it have something to do with laundry?
That would be ironing...

Ebony and ivory!
But they aren't bows!
My bow is made out of ebony and ivory.
That's hella expensive (and slightly impractical) for a bow...
That's why I use my retributer. The bow is just for show. :D

However there's some people who make their bows out of glowing crystals and dragon scales. Those look more impractical.

How about the bow made out of crab we have in this game?

My new arrows made out of leaves and grass will be super effective!
Casting Fairy of Life on the summoner would help a bit, too. At least you will know when to throw a Balance Heal here and there, just watching the cubic animation, plus having 3 cubics at once to aid healing your entire party, yay!

But it would be weak against ice types like Freya doe..
are you guys playing a different game? :D

Yes, it's called "irony".

Then I'll put 300 Fire attribute on it so it'll be a grass/fire type bow.

Can't go out in public with wrinkled clothes you know...
Hp gauges in your options menu, then you can see everyone's hp in the party without watching your bars. It helps a lot and you'll become more aware of your surroundings and less bored healing. If you see your wynn casting their heal then hit balance heal, you don't really ever need to target a pet unless it's tanking then you just assist the boss to heal the one taking damage.
And what skill are you healing that pet with?

Last time I checked pets have like 40k+ hp.

You seriously arent healing them with single target heals, are you?

What I do is hit balance life, then my healer uses balance life. So my balance was balanced to heal my heal.

I was asking the guy that described targeting the actual pet.
Lol, so you're saying you never did it and dissing me because I can walk and chew gum at the same time? I'm a SS.. I have a 1h magic blunt for healing, with an mattack augment. It does wonderful things, like giving big single target heals. Most geared summoners pets can handle the damage, there are a few that can't and shouldn't be trying to tank. Maybe your summoners are running around with wizards idk.
So you actually heal them with single target heal then?

I dont know about the pets you are healing but mine have a few tens of thousands of hp, why would want to heal them with something that doesnt manipulate hp %, I dont know.

No summoner I know use wizards, not sure where you got that from.

More than 30k hp, use % heals. Stop wasting time and mp on single target heal.

Unless you have like 100k or 200k matk, you arent healing anywhere near efficient with your lil heal.
