Got a men pendent in event but can't equip it. I have a party hat on and is one of the items listed to equip. Any ideas?

You need to take the hat and the pendant to npc "Moe" the aden reconstruction guide who lives in the town centre of Giran.
He will apply (attach) the pendant to the hat for you.
