Well, I said somewhere that we are not competing mainly against each other, but against a RULE SYSTEM that tries waste our time to block our progress.
When I read the patch notes about the new 50 Matches goal on Olympiad Starter Quest (knowing as L2 designers wants make everything difficult) my first concern was on they decreasing the rewards from the 5 Matches goal to NO GEs (scaling it down to the old 3 matches prize) and the 10 Matches to just ONE GE.
Well, the good news are that they kept the old prizes, so you can still make 10 matches (serving as meat to Highlevels get some fun) by your 2 GEs.
Now the bad news (just for me I hope, since I'm warning you to avoid this trap) if you are using GEs from Olys to try get some money to equip your toons:
THE 50 MATCHES GOAL JUST REWARDS THE SAME GEs AND FAME AS THE 10 MATCHES GOAL! YOU GET A "GAMBLE" BOX THAT "CAN" GIVE YOU JUST 5 USELESS AND CHEAP POTIONS.
Considering that you can make just the needed combats (10) saving some points to compete on the 3 Olympiads days reseting the quest each day (6 GEs/week) and that you can do just 30 combats/week (what will require from you two weeks to complete the quest) the 50 Matches goal's rewards just doesn't makes sense. ^^
Just think a bit: No matter how good the other prizes are, to newcomers using the oly to try get something it's too much time to waste on a "chance".

Well glmk and Iveta, I don't know which part from "serving as meat to Highlevels" and " using GEs from Olys to try get some money to equip your toons " you didn't got. Maybe I need use the same size glmk got to his/her answer. :D
So it's worst than I thought, since I got no 70KK SP rewards, my SP still the same ~100KK I had this morning.
C'mon! Low levels as me needs to struggle a lot more to get to 50 Matches than any from you 95s-99s. And so...
LOL, I could understand the Seed Talisman Manager SP reward that just 99+ chars gets, but this is just ridiculous! I did the same work on the Oly as any from you ^^, maybe this goal should be WIN 50 MATCHES and so just 99s would achieve.
I feel a lot better now! Maybe on next update they'll change the name from Path to Awakening to Path to Sparring. ;)
if you r not 99 make 10 mach for 10k fame , if you win 5 in row get othere 10k fame
in 99 solo kartia give 3kk sp, "talisman" q 5kk and group kartia 7kk + oly 70kk so
It has been many many many times been said that the content of valiance aka epeisodion + Raiders is meant for ~90% on the 99ers
unfortunately for many people on our server this is the issue
in Korea when they launched these updates they were almost all 99 already
so yeah, try to adapt to the changes matching your level and carry on
