hello guys happy new year!!!! i'm going to start playing l2 again .I want to ask you after the new patch which knight is better to start and play pvp after the awake. which is op at this time.. thnks for your time i searched but i didnt find anything ..I'm looking for your answers.
Funny, you define me as a forum troll (at least judging on this context), and I say the exact same thing said in the thread you linked... Fail more?
Dude, if he does what you say he will go et or st. If he does like that post says he will go hk. And you say it's the same?

then you miss read the OP's question and the topic you linked cause he asked about best PVP Tank which is ET (defensive) & ST (offensive) and the DA is only mentioned as best Tank in that link you provided for OLY..
minor detail but hey it was still a good link to provide cause most ppl here sux at using the search function :)

First I'm not a dude, and second as Draecke said the OP asked about PVP tank... Now, the OP could be asking about oly-oriented tank (it's still PVP, after all), but lacking specifications one has to guess that the OP was referring to open world PVP.
Now, thanks to your service to the community, that thread is indeed quite good.
The service of community, not yours. I hope he doesnt follow your advice and go et/sk and regret after that he doesnt have passive reflect. The fact is that a hk tank that keeps passive reflect and use chaos essence to change in whatever he wants is good for pvp/oly. That is the most important thing that a new guy should know.
But hey, i am sure you know more than me about tanks. Cause you are not only playing on forum, right?
I'm 95+ because I let my botted toon run amok without worries, sure.
P.S. You seem kinda misinformed about Valiance.
As i said, you know more things about tanks than me... but hey, i have a 99 tank that i raised myself and i dont have time to do dailies on forum like other ppl...
Pfff first, I don't reveal my level on boards, second I "raised my toon myself" and there's no need about little lessons on how to do dailies, don't worry because I do them as well... I just don't play a lot ;) The boards are just the icing on the cake...
So? My CP tank is a ST Sigel and he does fine without reflect from HK, which is best used for oly anyway...

You can use it at open pvp if you delete 1 sonata, farm more on forum and maybe you find out wich one! :)
Don't need that, I know which sonata to delete on my toon... Still you're failing at answering the OP question and flaming needlessly because of my suggestion (which is identical to the one given on the thread you yourself linked).
You can also keep flaming me about my post count, since it's the only thing you seem to care about...

The only thing i care are your knoledges about tank that are very good but they dont seem to exists. As i said before the OP should go HK, keep reflect and after that, like Draeke said, chose ST for offensive or Et for defensive. You said your cp ST tank does fine without reflect. I did fine also while i was "pvp-ing" zelaka, teredor and soa mobs. At 99 is another job, but i am sure you already know that too...
Do you even know what I do when I log in? No, so you can stop flaming me and my CP because of a misplaced sense of superiority.
Dear, this forum is about l2, not about you in case you havent noticed. I am just ****** off that when i started playing tank, instead of reading post of Draeke or other ppl who actualy have a tank class i've read the posts of some "forum warriors" that have no ideea about l2 and who are interested in cool sigs and countless posts. And now i regret i miss 20-30% passive reflect cause some ppl that should do us a favor and start a cooking post better...
It seems all about your case, judging from your "regrets". Oh well...
In the end your suggestion is good, but I rest on the opinion that outside the Oly environment, tanks do fine even without the HK reflect. Gear, augments and PVP prowess can do a fine job replacing that...
You seem to care too much about what I do on my free time. You can be 99 and have "countless posts" btw, I say nothing about how people spend their free time on NC17 sites or noliving in L2, why do you think that you feel entitled to do so?

For the last time, i dont care about you, just stop giving wrong advices. It's not a shame for you to post only on topics where you can be usefull. Cause spamming refresh on forum and posting on every new topic even if you have no ideea about that topic it's not helping the community. I let you make your dailies on this post and flame me more. But you cant argue the infos i provided to the OP. With strong arguments, of course.
This is turning into personal forum fight that no one who comes to this thread is gonna read anyway, so forget it or use PM to settle it. I'm Hell knight myself. I'm 99 and still with seraph because simple when you are legit you just cant have everything but I still manage to give a decent fight to any r99 tank and even manage to win. Keeping that reflect is a cool thing, but you shouldn't count much on it. This game offers you a broad range of features how you can improve any of stat for your tank. And I actually hate topics like this because you should play the class you like not the class someones offer you to play.
I don't really care anymore, my arguments are there, and I agree with F1red. But actually, asking for advices is a start, especially if you have no clue what to start with.
The point of threads like this one is giving a clue, the OP then should elaborate on the clues and decide for itself. There's no point in taking the flavor of the month class, only to discover it gets nerfed or you really don't like it...
Not that I really care about nerfs (my class gets nerfed more and more with each passing update, but I still like it), but someone else cares a lot about them.

that route is common right now yeah for new players, not so for existing ones but then again the existing players tend to have more adena to get the other stuff done faster then a new player so meh it balances out..
btw another minor detail but in next update we get 2 new stats (Luck & Charisma) and those will influence pvp effectiveness as well a lot and tbh I right now have no real idea which race would be seriously the best to roll with..
ps, my lol elf tank has np fighting 99% of all the new or reroll tanks with the DA reflect, there's only so much reflect you can get and quite a bit of reflect resist gear ;)
guys and girls thanks for the replies.. !!! i also want to know if a tank is it good at pvps more at 1vs1 . because in 100/1000 xp servers tanks kick a....s !!! that i want to know.. !!!! thanks again for your replies

always wondered but never looked into it, what ways is there to avoid reflect dmg?
I'm guessing the talisman might offer something, I only have infinity, havent bothered looking at the upgrades. But what other ways do we have?
So which private server are you playing on where HK reflect damage stacks with any sonatas?
Who said "any sonatas"? I learned to write, you should learn to read...
Clearly your mastery of the English language is lacking if that sentence was hard for you to understand. Implying it can be used with two sonatas after you click off, in your words, a certain, apparently hidden sonata, is completely erroneous. HK reflect does not stack with **ANY** single sonata, no matter which one you use. Since the word 'any' is difficult for you to interpret: it does not stack with prevailing sonata; it does not stack with refreshing sonata; it does not stack with daring sonata. Learn to play before you improperly criticize someone's correction of your original GoD patch private server knowledge. Let me simplify that for you: you're wrong.

Are you sure about that? :)
