it's ***ed up right now even on Naia this is becoming more and more obvious so yeah NCWest should do something for sure when they come back from their Holidays break but let's hope their methods will be a lil better then how they "solved" the adena farm by nerfing spoil/item/adena drops to near nothing..
Fishing is first good think in game, finally normal ppl can make some adena beacuse for now 0 drop, 0 adena drop nothing befo fishing i make 5m / day by daily.... now i make 400m / day BY HANDS, yes bots is problem, just change access to dock for ppl 98+ only, rly don't think ppl will risk with high-lvl toons for boting fishs....
Ppl just have no idea, when all bots die, even Stone or EAR will cost 20m+ and still 0 drop from raid etc, so let them fight about bots and game will die very fast

Sometimes this really helps when because of bots costs on auction are droping. But when u self trie to sel for example a lvl 17 soul crystal for 150-200 million as so they always costed in order to get some adena and see how bot owners come and sel them for 20 million this is really a pain in the ***. I saw last week.

Who told u that nova plays this game? This is their work, they earn real money on it, thats why they use cheats and exploits to keep controlling the server.

NCSoft said they implemented features to make sure bots couldn't fish (or severely hinder their ability to fish). However, the bots found a way around it now and are abusing the heck out of fishing.
Of course I don't want the legit players to suffer, I want them to be able to fish and make great loot/adena. I'm a legit player myself, and I'm in a legit only PvE clan on Chronos, DarknessReborn. However, the bots found a way around NCsoft's code and they are now roaming free and ruining the market, so us legit fishers/players are suffering quite extensively.
Worst part is, it's hard as hell to find the bots, because they are fishing in areas normal people don't go, so they are avoiding reports and sight by the player population.
It's a really bad situation overall and I hope NCSoft starts banning them more efficiently or I wish they'd implement a code to permanently hinder the fisher bots.
If NCSoft can't ban them, then they need to make the recipes worthless. If not, there will be 100bil new adena introduced everyday into the economy just from the fishing bots. All the prices will skyrocket and the legit player base will be unable to afford even the most rudimentary of items, in the future that is ofc. That is just basic economics.

My experience about the fishing is the next. For me, it is a bit waste of time, It gives Adena if you have luck maybe but just maybe can get some tens or some hundreds of million of Adena per day, but as these Stat Hats goes to market more and more prices will decrease very drastically.
But while you use to do fishing, you won't get XP neither SP.
I made a test if you get Fish Jewelry and exchange it for 70% recipes, in average you can make like 4-5 million Adena per hour as fix stuff. (I got this result with lvl 10 fishing skill and the 18m priced fishing rod.)
This is an excellent way how newbie players get some starting money to start their businesses in Lineage 2.

Only fools think that the game is better with bots. After the valiance update launched there was no bots for 2 weeks, and it was awesome. Every exp spot I went to had live players. The economy was thriving, fishing was awesome, and exping with live players in exp spots without bots was awesome.
Now fishing passes are down to 1mil on the auction house. There are 100,000+ of every fishing mat, it's a joke. The fishing contest was finished within 3 hours, because of all the fishing bot trains. The legits didn't even get a chance to compete, because I think the contest opened at some weird hour on chronos server.

You need to have two things in mind:
1) buy a nice rod + all skills = 500kk. Make 1b (if that is true) a day is not too much, because you have to be fishing all day. I have been fishing and I always give up after an hour, I can not imagine been an entire day fishing. So for me the problem are not the 1b/day you get fishing, the problem is, as always, bots can be fishing 24/7 and don't get tired or bored, no need to eat or sleep.
2) I see something good with this, well I said good when I should say less bad, and it's now a lot of botters that only need adena will not make an army of toons and spread them in all zones with quest enraging legit players.
Nothing wrong with bots, they are a natural part of Lineage 2 environment. Remove them and the game dies.
If NCSoft can't ban them, then they need to make the recipes worthless.

It is right, that without bots the gameplay better, and GMs must to stop this illegal fishing event, but if the bots disappear from day 1 to day 2 it would result extreme economic crisis. NC need to build them down day by day in the last months they made good job, now we will see how they manage the fishing.

i bought my 99 gear with fame and even sold some. stuff can be done in game without touching AH or sell/buy from players. too bad i dont find it appealing to log in and lvl and do stuff in the game so i sold most of the stuff.

So to max out fishing skills at 99 you need around 500 mill adena? Or is the table showing adena amount needed in total to learn all the skills until 99? 500kk is pretty serious money, not to mention you need another 240kk for the top rod...

You don't 240kk for Top Rod, when really top Rod is Hero (yesterday about 25kk in AH plenty of them)
