CoC solution

everybody knows it is very hard to get into coc. Here are my solution:


1. make it a daily. everyone can only do it once. if you want to do twice, nc will sell you a pass for 119 coins.


2. Ban the first 20 ppl who get into coc, they are pretty much all bots anyway.


3. Incase the number of coc areana. but I guess if nc is willing to do that, it has been done a long time ago.


4。only 99+ can do coc. All else needs to buy pass. Because what the heck is the point for you to do coc if you are below 99? just to be butchered?


As you can tell, I am quite fed up, so intentionally made this thread controversial to make a point.

No Sab, we do such because the game rules "FORCE US" to... Same thing as Oly!

Let me entertain all you with my theory, based just on observations, let's try to get inside the L2 designers' heads... :D

- At some moment, they noticed that needed to show how much 99s are powerful if compared to us. Should be rewarding since as you may know, until the noobiest 99 can beat a 95- guy.

- Well, it's a game, and nobody likes to lose. And since some 99s are better geared than other 99s, this brought them to the situation that until the poor 99s should also get their 15 minutes.

- The obvious way to provide some flesh to this audience, is to convince/force ALL characters created after F2P to pass through this slaughtering festival.

- But they got a trouble... How to do this? :confused:

- Well... Is just to decrease so much drops and mess so much the game market that the only humanly/legit/possible way to get R95-R99 gear, good R jewels, valuable talismans, or some valuable comodity (potions) to sell is: as rewards from these competitions
(IF we could call these things competitions since is like throw Bermane Stivern and Abner Mares on the same ring*, awaiting by a miracle ^^ ).

- Bigger proof they could make this fair is the "class restricted week", and the own CoC level requirement. They could pretty well to implement a level match system, but this would make some less lucky 99s just quit the game.


Here goes a player (me) testimonial...

I see some people just AFK on Oly/CoC not because they're bots, but because they are tired from lose.
Bigger proof from this (they're not bots) is that some people (Immortals, Twilights) when I'm doing Oly with my Maestro subtly begin to react!
Others, until when I do Oly with my main also does this (react!), this make me happy, and usually I recommend then since we were not allowed anymore to chat and type the cordial "gf".
Imho the game's system and rules are almost completelly tailored to pull people to rmt, botting and all illegal actions, and I confess sincerelly that sometimes I feel dumb by don't doing such.
I would be ashamed on deploy a game system that makes people think/feel like that, but is the price we all have f2PAY because some designers refuses to think as players and notice these small details.

Maybe because this more and more PvP players do migrate to MOBAs these days. :rolleyes:

PS1: This is far away from being a QQ, if you watch an OGH on Black Vorpal on Oly/CoC, you can be sure that regardless your set/level I'll try to beat you. :mad:

PS2: If I can't, I'll bleed so much on your armor that you'll need to expend a lot of Adena on laundry to get all clean again!:p

1. Nice, by this you would make one more reason to quit this game. ;)
2. What? And what about those legit players who determined to go there and wait for the registration momment and register immediately when the screen pops up. :o
3. I'm unsure how many arenas out there, but i think the game has limits too. I would approximate the number of toons getting into the arena at the same time to 200 players, maybe more? It is not a small number.
4. Pointless? You get CoC coin which gives good rewards for those who can't affort or not able to do epics and still want to get decent gear.
Also i'm not 99 yet and I enjoy the arena. I have won many times so far (not as many as i would have liked to) but still you can win it with 99- toon.

Usually when I do Oly/CoC I like to register my two boxed toons along with my main thus increasing chances to win also getting rewards with three toons is still better than one.



It is not the game function which is at fault, rather the players who abuse it and the GMs who are tired of banning the same people over and over again, because they just won't leave, no matter what.

How? On Naia usually you have about 1 sec to register if you're lucky and then it's full. By the time the notification icon comes up chance to get in is gone.

I play on magmeld. Here we have a 5-20 seconds long window to register to CoC. I usually manage to register only one box next to my main.

1. are you encouraging ncsoft to make more ridiculous l2store items? for 2 marks (if lose) cost you 119 nc lol.

2. so if a normal player happens to click fast enough to join normally, they will get banned cause they joined coc too fast?

3. increase coc arenas so more bots can auto join some more? and make more adena than they already do?

4. there are times (im 97 aeore) where i do coc just to try SURVIVE for the vit buff you get. There are still advantages for <99 to join coc.

Im fed up with auto sign bots too but your logic/suggestions isnt that great either.
