Trading stamps
The first trading stamps were introduced in 1891, the Blue Stamp Trading (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Chip_Stamps) System, where stamps affixed to booklets could be redeemed for store products. The Sperry and Hutchinson Company, started in 1896 in Jackson, Michigan, was the first third-party provider of trading stamps for various companies, including dry goods dealers, gas stations and later supermarkets. S&H Green Stamps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%26H_Green_Stamps), as the company was commonly called, opened its first redemption center in 1897. Customers could take their filled booklets of "green stamps" and redeem them for household products, kitchen items, and personal items. When the G.I.s returned from World War II the trading stamps business took off when numerous third-party companies created their own trading stamp programs to offer to supermarkets and other retailers.
According to Buffett's 2006 letter to Berkshire shareholders, Blue Chip had 1970 sales of $126 million as about 60 billion of "stamps were licked by savers, pasted into books, and taken to Blue Chip redemption stores."
so i've determined... the only way to get enough coins to actually do anything is through purchase of Gifts. sounds like RMT waiting to happen... actually i consider Gift trading to be RMT anyway...
however apparently nobody cares what i think in regards to selling nc coin items for in game adena.
on a side note...
i've recently gifted a rudolph agathian and i don't know if i got credit for that purchase. do Hero coins only apply to self purchases rather than Gifting?
if so... it should be clearly stated somewhere.
if not... then i think i'm missing a few hero coins.

in short.. no you dont get any hc
Will I still get Hero Coins if I gift an item?
Because the Hero Coins are bundled with the item, the Hero Coins for the item will be delivered to the player along with the gifted item. The purchaser will not receive any Hero Coins for this purchase.

Wish someone would gift me with a Rudolph Agathian. I somehow missed them when they were being sold through the store. :(

nc say
Why do I already have a Hero Coin balance?
We’ve retroactively distributed Hero Coins to all players with qualifying purchases since the launch of free-to-play for Lineage II. Feel free to spend your coins; you earned it!
but i not have hero coins from gift. so seams the give only to ppl who use coins in items for himself but ppl who use ncoins to gift item and ppl who got gift for them 0 hero coins
so i was told...
that these hero coins are Character related.
not account.
so if you purchase an item for an alt on your account, that alt will have its own hero coins.
explains why i feel like i am missing a few coins.

Hero coins is just a bonus on your purchases .
Untill now u could buy a rune for 4000 coins and get that rune...now u get the rune + hero coins as bonus.
Stop crying like little kids....if u dont get bonus is bad,if u get bonus is also bad....wtf do u want
on a side note... 2 hero coin for 119 nc coins...
using the tickets like istina and kartia.
whoa do that every day for an extra 700 hero coins...(350 days)
saving a whopping 41 coins per transaction (normal rate 1=80) 14350
coins which you can further apply toward nc coin purchases.
now i'm thinking my math is crazy here...
so... 350 days, 2 hero coins 700 1=80 56000
purchased at 119 discount 41650
good savings... and inspires you to do more whatsits.
however... you still can't buy that much for 700 hero coins.
it's a nice little side thing..... if you're willing to waste your time and money.
It's not tradeable. You would have to reaaaaaaaaaaally trust someone to hand over your weapon to have them enchant it. Or, Just go on your main, offer a price for selling, if someone wants it, have them hand over the weapon and then resell the weapon back to them. If the buyer punks out in buying it back, keep the weapon. If the seller punks out and scams the buyer, people will know who they are dealing with with screenshots, video, shouts, and general notariety. Now, remember, the buyer has to appear on his main to make this transaction semi trustable. Guess what.... WTS Divine scroll on my main, I'm serious.
