The economy of this game is completely broken into pieces, a shattered glass indeed, i saw hundreds of threads including NCsoft ones in regards of this topic but did anyone did anything? i dont think so. Quite a lot of players know how to STOP this by adding certain programs in servers which will end this for good in 1 update, well... i dont think this is going to happen, no matter your complains, and the best part is that you cant change this in any way.
I want to start this discussion based on LEGAL TERMS and CONDITIONS plus USER AGREEMENTS. Everything backed up by the LAW! This is no joke, this is a business, a development company that provides services and they MUST take care and make this legal terms and agreements happens, being sure that none of us, legit players, do not suffer, in any way, any harm, from people that not follow the rules. As you will realize if you finish this thread... is what NCSOFT is actually doing.... following this text by heart!
8. PROHIBITED AND IRREPARABLY HARMFUL ACTIVITIES CONCERNING NCSOFT
You acknowledge that You may not, without signed written consent from a legally authorized representative of NCSOFT, do any of the following:
(c) Use, or provide others with, any software related to the Game, including any automation software (a.k.a. "bot") or software designed to change or modify operation of the Game;
(d) Use, or provide others with, any "****," "cheat," "exploit" or "mod";
(e) Use, or provide others with, any service related to the Game, including but not limited to:
(i) any service that interacts with the Software; or
(ii) any service that that would change characteristics related to a Character ID, such as increasing the level of a character (a.k.a. power- leveling);
(h) Be a party to any commercial activity related to the Game, including but not limited to:
(i) providing or obtaining any Item; or
(ii) providing or obtaining any Account; or
(iii) use of the Service, the Game, Content or Software at an Internet café, cyber café or computer gaming center;
These are all in regards to illegal actions that any player should not do while is part of this game after agreement of TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
What is NCsoft doing about this? NOTHING AT ALL.
As sad as this may be, there is something much more terrible here, you cant do anything, AT ALL and what i say here, i mean it, you cant... this goes beyond a company matter, resources to fix the game, game income, huge non-legit players population, etc.... you agreed that... (remember this line?)

(l) Institute any arbitration or other proceeding against NCSOFT except as permitted under this agreement, including any legal proceeding in court or before an administrative agency;
So here is the company trick, that nobody takes into account, you cant force this company to do absolute nothing about ILLEGAL ACTIONS... so just this line... trash the complete list of items above, making them, absolutely a bureaucratic by LAW text.

My point is that the USER AGREEMENT and TERMS and CONDITIONS of this game is a complete lie. They made you agree that you, no matter what happens, cant legally SUE the company because of any harm that they may caused cos of negligent behavior about the in game problems, while at the same time they are saying that you cant do 90% of things that happens in game nowadays
Lets see an example to be more clear:
I read that (truth or not) many people were banned because the fishing was giving way too much Adena as reward for selling fish items.
If you FOR REAL never did any of the things above mentioned and you sell those items in shop legitimately obtained... then you should be able to SUE the company cos you did no harm or violated any legal term or user agreement or did not have any incorrect behavior
BUT YOU CANT! because you simply AGREE that you will NEVER do such thing ... without NCsoft agreement, which we all know, is never gonna happen.
NCsoft has the entire power to do NOTHING about ANY of the issues we have in game nowadays, they have the power to look the other way and just keep the game like this till they think is fine.
ALL THIS ultimately means that NCsoft has the entire LEGAL power to ban your account if they want to, even if they make a mistake while do such work... Lets build a list
If you are reported by some other player saying that you bot, and NCsoft never check your account logs
If you are reported as racist and NCsoft do nothing to check your logs
If you sell items in any in-game market obtained in a legit way and get a good amount of adena, which was setup, ultimately by NCsoft developers and agreed by the Product Manager if ANY!
If they catch you BUYING ADENA from a Third Party because all their in-game development decisions are killing all your fun and game play not allowing you to play, fairly, versus others that do that and are not getting banned because NCsoft negligence
If they catch you using BOT, actually if you have BAD LUCK and they catch you... from different posts i read... NCsoft has NO HUMAN RESOURCES to lower the corruption of players in any way. This take me to the assumption that they just grab a RANDOM set of lets say 100 players that were reported and just BAN HAMMER them, no matter if they are or they are not LEGIT
If they simple want to ban you account... they can do it... as simple as that, they have even the power to delete or reduce your NCoins from your inventory if they want

This means that they have the complete power to do NOTHING and be COMPLETELY NEGLIGENT about anything that happens in game, even if you report it or not

Well... I see that nobody reads between lines.... the biggest problem here, aside from bots, destroyed economy, insane ridiculous prices for items that are far from worth that and so.... is that your account can be banned DO or DO NOT inflict the RULES or AGREEMENTS....
People should complain more about that... and less about BOTS that nobody gives 2 cents about it... that is the real crap about all this deal....

The sueing, that the creator of this post were talking about is a part of the real life. But anyway, you download the game, you read the terms of agreement etc, you log in, you dont like it, you log out, delete game and go outside, where the real life is. Or stay and play. Life is simple, but we do everything possible to change that in a negative way. Smile for me now ;).

Nice screen. I wish I was a bit older than 8 when I started L2 so I would had been smart enough to take some screenshots instead of none.
Instead of partying, getting smashed, and being a college kid, I sit in the basement of some random family's house, research my thesis and play L2 all day.
