I recently started leveling an EE on Naia.
It's currently level 68 and I've been leveling it from 61 till 68 at Field of Massacre by pulling trains and killing them with its AoE skill. Works pretty good.
I'm now looking for another area to level it, preferably using the same method. The area has to drop herbs, else I wont progress as fast as I did before.
Any suggestions for leveling from 68 till 76? And 76 till 85?
starting at 68, you can hunt mobs in varka and maybe ketra.
assuming you have a half way decent a weapon and at least a grade spirit shots... you can kill these mobs fairly quick.

Thanks, I'll try Varka and Ketra. I only have the PoA A Grade gear, with blessed spirit shots. I assume that's enough.
Will I also be able to kill the mobs using my AoE skill or will that be too hard?

As Fidgid sayd, go ketra (in varka are some "archer" mobs you don 't want, also less mobs there. Getting higher level you'll be able to gather more mobs, and the Pdef of DC isn't good. When u can do the daily quest in Ketra, do it with ma ximum items you can get for maximum reward for XP
At 81 go to Sel Mahum under Oren, somewhere at north from spawn is the quest npc (or search it in the world info from map)

if you aoe by first running the length of a football field to gather mobs...
you are cutting your kill rate down.
if you find a spot where mobs gather in an area the size of a basketball court you will be able to kill more, faster.
vitality helps a lot.
but my initial estimate may have been slightly exaggerated.

One more thing. What dyes should I get? I used to play private servers and always went with +con -str and +wit -men. Does that also apply here? Also where do I buy the +4 -4 ones? Is 7s mammon still the only one selling them?
Anything else I should get to boost my stats? I only have 3kk to spend. Adena drops are horrible. I've managed to gather 2kk adena leveling from 48 till 69. Am I doing something wrong?
dye should only be used for leveled characters for specific purposes.
like level 60 character to do zaken night time raid... use dye to increase dps, or survivability. if you wish to level to 85, and awaken...
then don't bother with a dye as it is just a waste of adena.
the dye becomes inactive at awakening and uses new giant, ancient, and legendary dye.
port to ketra, be sure to take the daily quest at the kamael npc, then go straight by the entrance, then turn left a bit and go down the small hill with some sidings, then keep going straight till you go down the other little hill and turn left, turn right till you see an intersection as T former, then turn left and done.
A small area with all mobs being agressive, which will let you just to circular run around the crowd to get the agro then AoE freely.
Ofc, you need to setup a autotarget heal macro, then after agroing a bunch of mobs (almost half of the total in the area), go attacking with aoe, then autoheal, run in small cricles and looping this till the end.

Does that still apply for a level 75 EE? I'm almost 76. EXP is around 0.08% per mob. Just wondering if I can get more EXP per mob at a different place. VIT is already depleted, so with VIT I would get around 0.15% at Ketra.

after reaching 76, go and complete the quest from Imperial Tomb series, plus with the dailies you will be close or already 77. If you feel the need, do the 7Signs quests (long enough to give you a break of the endless grind and back you with some interesting background lore). Ketra is doable till your 80'ish or when the mobs are turning light blue to you. Fast killing 'cause the mobs are weaks for magic - imo, varkas is a waste of time and shots for mages.

Crap, I leveled from 68 till 75 just by killing mobs :|.
The NPC near the entrance of Ketra says I need to be 76.
A full level sounds nice. So does 50%. Farming the 900 quest items at 76 only levels me up by killing mobs. The additional bonus for the quest might just give me ~2 levels up in total. I have about 350 items to go.
Another thing, how do you manage the spirit shots? I mean adena drops are **** everywhere you go. I run out of BSSS faster than I can gather adena to purchase. I have about 7.5kk atm, so I'm good for now, but all that money will be spent on buying BSSS.
About 72+ or 76 for S grade, and 85 for R grade. It's been a while I leveled my dorf to 80, so I'm not totally sure about the S grade crafting mastery.
Blessed spiritshots require S or R grade crystals and spirit ores. Registering a Blessed Spiritshot S recipe can be painful, I myself had to buy it from AH because NC "wisely" deleted almost every spot where I could have dropped/spoiled it...
Purchasing it from the AH is probably gonna cost me too much. I'll check the AH later to see if it is worth it. Also, leveling a new char just for that costs me too much time. I just wanna focus on my main EE atm.
I got about 191kk EXP. Started at 76 0%, now I'm 78 20%. So by doing the quest I leveled up once just by killing mobs. Continued the quest at 77 till about 50%. At that point I finished the quest and got an additional 70% EXP bonus as the quest reward. Currently 78 20%.
