Is it a possibility that the "problem" we are all... or most players are having is actually a snare to rid bots? Seeing the vid posted earlier with the Argonauts player getting the error **** window while the bots are rolling along smoothly, it seems this may be a trap for players using 3rd party programs.
I know you all have little faith in the devs doing something right with this game, but one can hope ~;)

WoWC did something like this in LoD 12-13 year's ago, nailing any bot's and map **** user's, sadly this trick is still considered "new" and NCsoft is a old dawg mai frand ! :o

It would be a nice thought, but highly unlikely.
One of my PCs had the error, I closed the client and re-tried and it worked ok.
I loaded the 3 clients with mentors, and they've been on ever since.
My main PC however didn't work with any of the workarounds offered by NCSoft, until they rolled back the GG update.
The only thing I can think is different, is that the mentor's PC doesn't have Google chrome on it; they are both Windows 7 x64.
It was amusing logging in on an alt and killing 2 mobs, before getting disconnected - rinse and repeat.. a slow way to get a daily quest done, and it made it all a bit more exciting.

if all teh bots are gone than the game is even more dead than it is now
