I was at Varka today and I saw an unusual mob called ' Scout '. Then, I wondered what was going on and decided to hit it. But with 1 hit I died immediately, and luckily, because of Valentine's Event I didn't lose any XP. Then, I went there for second time and decided not to hit it or pass in front of it, but hit the mobs which were around it. Again, it hit me!!!
Though, the problem is not the XP, but if this was an in-game( NC soft) company's mistake or a player put it using hackiing tools...
( I have a picture too, but I don't know how to insert the image by a link...)
if you lost all CP as well, then the most likely event is that you were hit by a red player (othell rogue or yul archer) in hide, or outside your field of view. usually people under 85 die in 1 hit to players above 85, and this is no exception.
no scout could ever do to me more than 500 dmg even if i am wearing C grade. so it was definitely not the scout.
Pretty sure it's a monster from Orbis Temple, which is a 95+ area. Therefore the monster oneshots everything in sight. It's also aggressive, so you have to completely avoid it...
Tip for future use, use the color code on the mob's name to determine their level, if the name of a monster appears in a deep red shade it's too high level for you and you have to avoid it.

how would you even get that mob through magmeld and into Varka?
1. I don't know which programme to use to give you my image in a link.
2. I don't know how that mob was at Magmeld, Varka. I have gone there more than 50 times and I saw that today first time.
3. Maybe it was a bug or sth or someone haacked.
GM's got lazy so they put in bot killers. Their work is done.
The funny thing it's that the mob was in the only room not ocupied by bots, I was wonder why, now I know.
Sure. More conspiracy theories, please!
I was leveling at imperial tomb but got tired to fight every summoner bot in each room, so I decide to go to giants cave to finish some quest. After enter there and saw that the picture was the same (bot in every room), I move forward to try find a free room. The only one that I found was the room with two of that Scout mobs, but got killed when I put a step inside room, so that's why there was no bots there.
Don't know about the other servers, but Magmeld it's plenty of bots on weekends, well during week also but less.

Bingo, they have been doing this since before Hellbound, difference is back then a GM would actually randomly appear every now and then nearby to observe as well because they had just started doing it.
No conspiracy, just facts.
My answer was to Valoran. Your post simply confirms the fact that if it's a GM tool to detect bots, it's a totally useless action.
Come on, everyone here knows that bots use predetermined paths and monster IDs to determine what and where to attack. So a GM putting an Orbis archer in the middle of GC is total nonsense. It's more likely a bug.

Nah, it is a old GM tool that they don't monitor at all anymore, the idea being a live player will know better then to attack sudden beaming super red mob, or at least pause and take stock of the situation. They even used to use raid bosses now and again, just now you will never see a GM randomly show up to observe you as well. And as to them showing up off the beaten "path", I thought a lot of bot's set up in area's exactly do to less chance of player's showing up in the area therefore less need to monitor ones own bot's and call in a protector, or has this changed ?

wow. some posts are informative. others contain descriptive details that can be indexed and duly searched.
an single edited post that contains no information of any kind, both contains more information and falls under the "a lot of" category.
I have seen this twice before both times in primevil isle when I was levelling up to my first awakening.
First an insane phion spawned next to me while I was busy killing velociraptors, then on another occasion I ran into an Elite Kaonia that had spawned before I entered the lost nest. This would have been in Harmony, or perhaps Goddess.
