I believe they decreased the enchant rates otherwise the game will be flooded with Dark Weapons now. Everyone that plays competitely has a +7 or better Elemental shirt and unless the enchant rates were decreased, everyone will now have PVP weapons also. Any input on this theory Vali or Juji?

This time it took me 11 scrolls exactly to make it , with power/elemental shirts before an average of 8k coins were spent each time to achieve +6/7 respectively.
I made a +7 Paagrio shirt the first time they were introduced with only 48 scrolls. Some people took hundreds and hundreds. Im curious if enchant rates have been changed.

The enchantment success rates haven't changed. Keep in mind that the rewards are only for enchanting Shiny Elemental Shirts to +7 to +10. There won't be any rewards for enchanting regular Elemental shirts.

What is NCsoft doing? The only way to get a dark weapon stone in this game is to hold aden or rune on the dimensional sever for one and a half months+. Now any random person in any terrible clan can take a +3 shirt and get a pvp stone with 1.2% chance of luck.

First of all Dimensional sieges were completely boring when they first started and now theyre even more worthless. Clans barely participate at dim siege and anyone that did, did it for the dark amaranthine stones.

In all servers the same situation, 1 clan controll all the economy because bots in gainak + pts to protect them, u guys do nothing about it. So, while bots get dark sets, controll all the economy, have the castles... normal players suffer to make their sets +6. Because with runes, without runes, there is no adenas in any server and drops are pathetic.
Now u guys are giving the oportunity for the same bots, who made their dark sets +8, get dark weapons EASY. There is only 1 clan per server on command, coz the unbalanced dark craps created by ur amazing devs. Before {PvP} Option was created to BALANCE game and was possible to any player get it. Look how ur servers are dead now. There is NO CHANCE for new players or for clans fight agaisnt the top ones, coz no people, no gear for it, no adenas, there is 4-5 people per day in aden only with "WTS" never WTB.
After 2 years playing in "trully free" model, maybe is time to leave. I'm sorry if this insult u somehow ncwest team, but sounds like you guys don't even cares about what happen in game. I'm sorry to tell u it but even the botters will get bored without us (the legit players) and this game will die once for all (and u guys also will lose ur jobs).

Last time i did the mistake of spend over 12.000 ncoin in get one evas shirt +7, for know tht later octavis shirt or istina have almost the same stat that mine.

I still disagree, no future without new players. Raid bosses that don't give good xp for low lvls are also not bugged, if u go in korean u check that they changed it proposital for slow the lvl cap.

The cruma tower quests that u needed find a npc and go in one instance and etc etc? That was an amazing time. Now u see what is happening with this game. Sooner or later even bots will figure out that there is no challenge or fun coz max they will fight btwen them and more people will leave. Yes, since someone keep paying for all this "pay2win" model, nothing will change, but at some moment in future this system will crash. Is just this what I'm saying.

I think the majority of people are over reacting. A few things to ponder.
Pros:
1. next update PVE and PVP options are exchangable. (or so the rumor says) so this drastic change was coming one way or the other. PVE weapon stone only cost 5b depending on server, my guess is pvp weapon stone will fall between 10b-20b when its all over.
2. big clans will have pvp against and more competition against these pvp weapons. It could potentially balance the end game player and the casual player slightly. Even bad pvped weapons hit hard.
3. Top clans won't hold hands for 3 pvp stones every 5 cycles now. More pvp on dim seige, if people are still motivated to go without in game reward. Still a pride factor.
4. The decrease of rewards from raids and the increase of rewards from ncoin has made raiding almost irrelevant. This is important cause a lot of clans hyper recruited to reach the minimum of 98 players per clan. Clans might not need this insanely high number.
Cons:
1. Dimensional seige rewards are completely screwed up now and need to be fixed.

I've played on old Teon long time ago, so you can call me old player. So yes, i do remember, i do remember all promises. I also remember full servers when we were not able log in game. I remember lot. So that why i don't think that something will change. Till people will buy stuff from store, till people will buy adena and eqp etc there always will be lineage. It's like a circle.
1. everyone can now get PVP R99 weapons, not just the top clans so it's not that 1 sided as current situation.. also as the stones will be tradeable it's a legit way of making a quick 25~50bil adena pending on supply/demand - let's not beat up the dead horse of the richer getting richer as that's just life and L2 has always been like that.

i started to play on retail again when servers become free2play, hoping that the new aflux of skilled players that were migrating from private sector will make a huge change in gameplay and in mentality. now after 2 years, and only 3 events for average player, almost zero activity regarding boots, and i may add, that, as a legit person, i got banned once for booting(lol) i see myself having to do a hard choice, to continuing playng, struggling with pro players that r able to win a pvp w/o owning a monitor, or to end a chaper of my life. kinda painfull decision cose i love this game. but hey, good luck guys getting at least 2 dark stones and 3 sets each. il donate my money to next door orphanage, cose i heard that all the likes on facebook dont help so much, so, cya guys maybe later, if a viable anti-bot will be on this servers.
p.s. dont get me rong, i have nothing agains spending some money for a game.. but i dont see the point of doing that, since most of the oponents r just acronims.

I think the majority of people are over reacting. A few things to ponder.
Pros:
1. next update PVE and PVP options are exchangable. (or so the rumor says) so this drastic change was coming one way or the other. PVE weapon stone only cost 5b depending on server, my guess is pvp weapon stone will fall between 10b-20b when its all over.
2. big clans will have pvp against and more competition against these pvp weapons. It could potentially balance the end game player and the casual player slightly. Even bad pvped weapons hit hard.
3. Top clans won't hold hands for 3 pvp stones every 5 cycles now. More pvp on dim seige, if people are still motivated to go without in game reward. Still a pride factor.
4. The decrease of rewards from raids and the increase of rewards from ncoin has made raiding almost irrelevant. This is important cause a lot of clans hyper recruited to reach the minimum of 98 players per clan. Clans might not need this insanely high number.
Cons:
1. Dimensional seige rewards are completely screwed up now and need to be fixed.
Sorry for the text wall. 2 main issues ncsoft should deal with.
- Rewards for dimensional seige need to be adjusted.
- Ncsoft needs to boost drop rates for raids/hellbound so people that are highly against spending money on this game have an alternative option to obtaining gear, because right now it's spend money or fall behind.
They ****** dim siege so terribly to the point of it's not even worth participating in anymore. Most people are obtaining a pvp stone for $250 or less on my server per pvp stone which makes holding a castle on that server for 5 weeks ( 2.5 months ) less profitable than killing ant queen 4 times in one week. NC just doesn't like end-game pvp.

Yes There is 2 clan who hold Dim server castles and how many pplz of those participants who waste their time and money geting PVP stones ? So many CP doing Dimensional sieges and what they get ? nothing. They are being scamed by CLAN TAG.

Dim siege started in the summer 2013 about 7-8 months
Two clans farmed 9 each, 18stones in total in that time. In which you even increased from 4 weeks ( forgot) to 2.5 months to get dark amaranthine stones.
So basically you jus slapped anyone that participated in dim sieges in the face by doing this event. You leave no goals left in this game when probably like 50-100+ people got shirts +7 in 1 day counting just one server.
So what does NCsoft want us to do now? PVE4life to do absolutely **** all.
Is it really that big of an issue that ppl can get similar stuff for their gear now?
Eventually ppl catch up, and you get more interesting pvp.

This game was good in the past cause you had to work hard on it, to spend alot of time on it to get the end game items and it was only for the "top" clan only cause you had to fight for it. All the ppl that are saying it not fair that some clan have something and not them, then they're just playing the wrong game. L2 was never a game fair for all, if you want fair game for all go play LoL/Dota, there it wont matter if you are playing it since 1day or 1year everyone start equal.

I would love to see more clans with pvp stones, but they should have to work for them in game. There is a reason why these items sell for 150-200bil on every server. These items were intended to be very limited due to them being overpowered.

There is Talismans who is way too powerfull, there is coc belt there is pvp armors +8 bonuses so much that + some % pvp damage won't change too much lol. Get real. Eventualy Brooch system coming . Usefull event only if random players get enough of them and start to show up (i hope) at pvp.

Yes. In some people's perspective, this is indeed one way to "kill" a lot of game content for "THOSE" who play and are motivated to acquire rewards, items, epics, adena, and drops "ONLY" through the game content and NOT ATTAINING ANYTHING THROUGH Botting, RMT, or other illegal ways.
But, honestly though, how many players that are playing END-GAME-CONTENT with End-Game-Gear are fully 100% Legitimate, gear earned are 100% through game content, adena acquired are without RMT or botting, and then really coming on the forums to cry about this being an unfair chance for "ANY RANDOM SCRUBS" to attain R99 PvP weapons/PvP stones?
Not many, I'm sure many would agree.
Think it through, I don't think any "Randoms" will spend or even have a mentality of spending $300-600 to gamble for an end-game content, as the way I define "randoms" are already under-geared. You wouldn't be a random if you had that kind of money to blow on a low chance gamble, and rather gear yourself up with 100% rate by any other means.
Maybe there a few randoms who spent a few bucks not too far from $50-$100 range and got really lucky with the event, congrats and props to them, NCwest gave the very few lucky randoms who didn't spend hundreds/thousands a chance to enjoy the game or do whatever they wish to do with it. Not too much to complain about since the probabilities of winning seems pretty random.
To add on top of that, this game has always been Pay2Win, Pay2BePro, Pay2BeStrong

Yet there was no available option to trade those snowballz for santa costume because, guess what, there were santa appearance stones in the NStore. TROOOOOOLOLOLOL TROLOLOL LOL LOL
So don't hold your breath that you will get this special stone or any kind of answer for that matter.
By the way, I am legit player, with non-top clan, with mediocre gear --twilight heavy set +3 not even 120; requiem duals+3 and 1 SA; destruction talisman; 1 horrible looking party mask with CON; and the most awesome: hero returning shirt + c grade belt lol--cuz real life real needs (such as paying the house mortgage and providing a modest lifestyle for my wife and kid) are totally telling me that I would be an idiot to spend even 1 dollar for this game OR to use 3rd party software (because then I would be an even bigger idiot getting my char banned considering I am not donator and lose all the time spent in this game).
Why did I say this? Because I wanted to give you a background on the person saying this: This event, like all others that give some edge in-game, makes me realize how FORTUNATE I am that I can't/won't pay any money for this game, but also how fortunate I am to have take the decision to play L2 as casual as possible until the March patch--which hopefully will give me some further insignificant goals to pursue while others will worry on how best to gain a +1 stat that will give them blue color in chat+bling weapons and/or a new location to bsoe to.
It has been said in the past as well but I will re-iterate: those of you paying for this game, should seek the same professional help as the ones who are blowing vast sums of money in Vegas or any other place with gambling games.

All the 99's players here that think they can get a free dark ama stone and use it on your weapon...good luck on that (if you have some stacked adena in your WH).
If you think that a dark ama weapon will make you invincible in PVP, then you are wrong. If you didn't do too much PVP lately, then you will sux in PVP.
The best for these kind of players is PVE stones, because you spend the last 1-2 or 5-6 years PVE-ing and a dark weapon won't help you becoming a factor.

I think maybe you fail to realize that no clan will rise up and offer you interesting pvp atm. The pvp stones have beeen pvped for, there was a clear winner, and that winner is so far ahead right now, due to those pvp stones, that the winner has no problem protecting the spot anymore.
So be happy there will be a few more in game, whoever they go to, and enjoy the pvp. I doubt they will drop too much in price.
Wrong for who ? RMT ppl who lose a lot money, for handless ppl who can win pvp only beacuse have items from rmt? or for ppl who play in l2 10h/day and should be good items, but dont have only beacuse no $$ ? :cool:

S80 with pvp on it is not better than a dark weapon. S80 with pvp does almost exactly the same damage as r99 dual sa and maybe slightly more damage depending on oe of each weapon. Dark still does the most damage.

1. stop the RTM players sell pvp stone for money(i have lisen 1 stone sell in cronos for 10k $)
2. NC win same monay for buy new update
3. server no have pvp weapons now creat same pvp weapons .
4. Dont think is easy make pvp weapons . need 1 pvp stone and 32 elyc = 15b and u have 50% for make it 50% is fail .. so is not easy to make it .
if all server take 50pvp stone i think 10 weapons go to pvp ..

my +3 skull bow 300 focus bow does 2k less than my +5 r99 3000 focus+dmg. one pvp r99bow 2sa 300 ll do SO MUCH more dmg than my s80 bow.
my +4 mamba edge dual 300 does the same dmg of my r99 2sa 300 dagger. one pvp r99dagger 2sa 300 ll do more dmg than my s80 dual dagger.
for dagger u are super right, not so much about the archer class, and i can say for sure this wont work on p.atk toons like iss/tyr.

my +3 skull bow 300 focus bow does 2k less than my +5 r99 3000 focus+dmg. one pvp r99bow 2sa 300 ll do SO MUCH more dmg than my s80 bow.
my +4 mamba edge dual 300 does the same dmg of my r99 2sa 300 dagger. one pvp r99dagger 2sa 300 ll do more dmg than my s80 dual dagger.
for dagger u are super right, not so much about the archer class, and i can say for sure this wont work on p.atk toons like iss/tyr.

I bet this is a future store item. They cannot put it in store now because a lot of people have +7 elemental shirts from past events and that would mean free amaranthine stones for everyone with an old shirt. That goes against the business...but we will see that stone soon I bet.

It didn't come to you that if they promote an advertisement before selling an item, and when people bought the items and it's not as promised/promoted by the advertisement, the seller should be the one to reimburse to the buyers with the correct information?

Refer to your post and try to point out where your mistake is instead of trying so hard to flame at others. In the meantime pull out a dictionary and find the difference between the term correct and incorrect, since you seem like a very logical guy with a big enough head to interpret your own stupidity.

yeah you're right, sad to say this is true but if the difference in the marketing promo and the actualy ingame item is dramatically more different than 1-2 stats or so off, i think a lot more players would question and ask for reimbursement.
but of course, in this case, don't think there's any weight of players to even ask any kind of changes because it's so minor but it's more or so for future reference that they sell the correct items with 100% matching information to their marketing ad/promo so we know exactly what we're paying/gambling for.

but often NCwest changes a lot of things when they bring the patches/events/items here. for example, the shirt packages/shirt-stones/etc
personal expectations and reading incorrect information officially posted by ncwest and not knowing, until you paid money to find out is rather different wouldnt you think

The table had correct values from the beginning. The mistake on the comparison was that they copied and pasted the the 7th row with stats instead of the 6th.

Don't trust using the +7 shirt's 5 sec invincibility. I've lost count already of the number of times that my system text will say that Einhadsad's Protection can be felt and I'll keep taking damage and then die with the skill still up. I'm not talking about 1 hit still getting through right after the skill goes up either. My experience has been multiple hits getting through consistently. I've submitted 2 tickets with screenshots already but support has blown me off both times.

Tip for adena farm.
- Make one alt char lvl 46
- Put this char as you mentee
- Move to cruma tower lvl 2
- Kill mobs, each mob drop 2k adena (4x more adena than lvl 99 mob) and die in 1/2 hits
- Be rich and buy you R99+8 set.

The probability is pretty random, although they can claim its based on a certain % success like skill/weapon/armor enchants (which is a good way to sell lucky stones in the first place) I'm sure a lot of us failed going +1-3 on a skill with 80-90% success rate in many consecutive number of times.
But I made 2 +6 shirts in 6 Blessed Elemental Shirt Scrolls which is 100% on 2 different items

Got 1 out of 3 my 1st shiny shirt which still +6 spent 10 bless scrolls, got 2nd shine shirt out of 2 boxes, and today was clicking on one the evas shirt that i had and made +7 with just regular scrolls, went althe way without fail. Well i'd say its all about luck.

(With one of the +7 shiny shirts I used normal elemental shirt enchants at +6 and +7. I ran out of blessed enchants and wasn't about to buy more.)

I believe you when you say that others spend much more than that, though. Luck is random. It's like that one lady that never gambles ever in her life, but goes to Vegas, puts in one coin, and wins $100,000 on slot machine. Meanwhile other guys practically never leave the machine, spending their entire savings and retirement and never winning at all. Go figure.
Luck is dumb, but people can be dumber. $1000 does not make any L2 character so much better than everyone else, even with a +7 shirt. Why spend so much? If they can afford it, then they can afford to lose it, and more to the point, can afford not to whine about having lost it imho. Keep putting money in machine. We other players thank you all for it. :D
I am also curious if after the event finishes, evan if there will be no rewords for oe the shirts, if bless enchants will remain in shop..... cause no more money atm but in the future who knows maby I will want to try to oe the shirt again only for stats that give not for reward
Keeping the blessed elemental shirt scroll enchant scrolls in the L2 store or Galleria at least through the Easter (April 20th in US) would be great. People will buy them.
When I first saw this elemental shirt announcement I didn't think much of it. Now I'm hooked.
If only there was some way to exchange these with other characters on your account. When the new race is introduced I will want to transfer an elemental shirt to him/her when I create them.
