Best Archer race

Yul Archer Started Last reply 10 posts
Hellooo guys I'm downloading now Lineage II and I've always wanted to play an Archer but I'm wondering which is the best between Human race or Dark Elf race.
I saw that archer is a powerful character and that Elf archer has low attack (a stat archer rely on to deal massive bursts) but highest speed so most say Human or Dark Elf... I already know that Human is the most equilibrate and that Dark Elf has a very high attack and it's still faster than human which has more HP and defense though but I also heard that when you become Yul Archer you can get a lot of skill that will fit those meh stats and so Dark Elf is better above all because of its higher basic attack and speed... Your suggestions? :)

I'd like to know also if there is one better with skills or something
Thank you
Go Dark Elf. You won't be sorry.

Dark Elves rely on high burst damage from chaining their skills due to the nature of their buffs. Light Elves get Wizard Harmony and Enchanter Set Light Armor and focusing on spamming their low cooldown skills to rain down hell on their enemies. Human archers tend to be the meatiest and can withstand a lot of hits so they're actually preferred in PvP. The other choice is a Kamael Trickster which is a subpar PvE archer, in exchange for superior PvP damage.

I've heard good things about LE Archers, but I'm not sure if they're the best.
Best Yul = Light Elf + Chaos Essence to change Trickster = Full atk speed + no skills delay
Dark elf best!
There is no best, they are geared toward's different play styles. DE hit's the hardest. Human is the tankiest and good all around skill's. LE is the fastest and shoot's like a machine gun. Kameal is roughly a blend of DE and LE with no CD's and some neat little trick's thrown in. It's all about your play style and what you are comfortable with.

You like to run and gun ? Go LE. You like to inflict major DPS in burst's ? Go DE. You like to get into the thick of thing's and be able to take some heat while throwing flak back at the enemy ? Go Human. You want to get in and get out while you drain your MP on skill burst's ? Go Kameal.

LE and Kamael are waste of time atm. Either get DE ang kill fast and die fast, or get human and kill slower and die slower

Was just giving the person a general overview. I had a DE myself which I eventually just turned into a perma red as I found the class boring but you will find advocates for all four. It's a matter of taste and play style.

Well, yeah, some people say Othel FS is good in PvP.
Being trickster I think that at end-game level ( meaning armors +7-8++, +12++ weapon, jewels, AP, talismans, belts, shirts... you know - everything), the Moonlight Sentinel will have the upper hand. At this point every archer will do huge damage and it won't matter if you do 60k or 70k, either way you'll be killing most of the targets with one pinpoint. But vs targets in UE or strong ones it will be better to spam more skills.

But I feel ( through the FORCE) that you won't be like this, so - trickster if you gonna pvp (and you know how to do it) and you don't care much about pve. GS/Sagi are just general good for pvp/pve, they are better than the trickster for pve, but with some less dmg in pvp. MS - if you like it :)

When the split of the classes came I turned sagi, then I turned trickster. There was significant drop in pve damage and increase in pvp.

This is all from my experience and thoughts.
