and after multiple reports of top players and clans without any action....does NCWEST believe or want to do anything about program/bot use?
I really dont give a rats ***, I am rich and play this game for ***** and giggles. But the last few pvp confrontations in seige and elsewhere are causing all my legit friends to quit game.
I cant lie for you NCWEST, you enable the game to exist. I can confirm that every toon I have submitted for examination has led to nothing. Since i AM a big spender and probably have spent more real life money for this game than 99% of others...I am disappointed, but I know for a fact about certain cheats in game and you do nothing. Like your boss once told me, cheats have been here since before the game existed and cheats will always be here...just enjoy the game.
So just enjoy the game, while ncwest reaps in the money, and i file a ...
Report dont work, eula is a fake.
Nc ban some bots but, at all, the system who detect and ban bots dont detect big bots, the prove of fail is bot groups lvl 99 @ hellboud or cerimony of bot.

I have to disagree. The Report system works fine, and EULA is not a fake.
The problem here, as you mention, is that the employees that work BANNING or as they call it "Survelliance Team" has the ORDER to NOT BAN players that BUY/BOUGHT NCoins.
If you think about it, actually makes sense... you with your money, keep this game alive... follows the same logic as any private sever... you basically BUY THE RIGHT TO BOT, EXPLOIT, etc.
I would like to read Producers (who are the ones that manage the game requirements and technical team from certain perspective, since they are not product owners or project managers) denying this with real fact.
I created dozens of Tickets with hundreds of characters botting from lvl 40 to lvl 90 zones (i cant go to 99 zones yet) some of them are not there anymore if i go back BUT who can assure me that they banned them? who can tell that they were not sell or ready to be sold for Real Money, who can tell that they are not in another zone doing exactly the same thing as they did where i found them?
This lack of confidence from their VALUED CUSTOMERS, as they call us when creating a ticket, is part of their lack of answer in regards to game problems. I am not talking only BOT problem RMT problem, im talking about other issues as RB exp, RB drops, Adena drop reduced to reduce the BOT and RMT that has absolutely no effect on the problem..
This is the reality, this is how P2W or F2P games rolls.
Check this links and elight yourselves with the real world gaming and RMT
and just in case you dont know to match with the note above

NCSOFT is a South Korea-based online, video and mobile game development company that has produced Lineage, City of Heroes, WildStar, Guild Wars and Aion.
Have fun in the best way you can or just quit the game guys
PS: I dont know then if the country "Legalized" RMT why we have those rules :)

I have to strongly disagree. As a NCOIN king on chronos with about 40k hero coin, I have had toons banned by gm's or whatever they want to be called. My ncoin purchases had nothing to do with them banning my toon for botting even tho I never logged it in to be banned.
So that theory is out the window.
It gets deeper and more stinky imo. I have personal video of many "top" elite clan leaders and healers mainly on bot programs or pvp scripts...do you thing their super secret ninja surveillance team can do anything about it? of course they can, they choose not to...but they can ban my afk alt for months who never logged in and give me pin point precision on all the bad it did to chronos(you guys a joke).
The best part is after I provided such intel to ncweat gm's all the accused clan leaders switched over clan leader position to alts(I now KNOW for a fact) corruption was involved. good game.
Just open your eyes and see
Nowadays botting, scripting and cheating is so widespread...like a cancer...and guess what you have to do to cure it...
Unfortunately there more players doing the above things than before
Do they ban bots and cheaters ???...yes they do but believe it..If NCSoft decided to purge the servers we woould start almost from scratch
Just forget the conspiracy theory
The real problem are the PvP bots. It's absurd what some people do with those, cancelling instant cast skills 100% of the times, seeing people in Hide (some dudes even bragged to me like "Hey I can see you!" and followed me until my Hide went off...screenshots+fraps+report=nothing was done, the dude still has a Hero Cloak)
I wanted to hear just once of someone who was banned for botting in PvP, not in PvE.
I think that the best solution here is to get clear rules...
If players can BOT only if they PAY #N of real money = NCoins... then lets just say it...
IF players can RMT cos is Legal in Korea or can not cos is ILEGAL in Europe.... lets lets just say it..
The real problem here relies in a communication break down between NCThing and players....
But well.. Where is Juji here discussing with us as PRODUCER of this project? ... well nowhere... is what we have when we start discussing serius deal.. there are nobody from NC coming and talking sense...
I don't think there's too many options left really.
1. Ban all bots. 1a: Company suffers serious losses for a period of time. If it can survive long enough with non-paying legits until the bots are all able to return in full force, and hopefully still have a rmt customer base upon their return we'll be back to square one, and nothing will be different. It will be noticed by accounting that it was a mistake, and bots will run even free-er than before. 1b: Company cannot survive the serious drop in revenue and decides closing the doors is the only option.
2. Allow botting openly. 2a: Publicly allow botting will cause more headaches to the legit player, but in turn will cause a boom in the NCstore due to much more purchasing of items for xp/vit/etc.. This option will further destroy any reputation L2 has left, but will be a money maker for at least the short term, until legits quit due to frustration and no longer fund the rmt bots, making their efforts useless. Eventually this will be the end of L2. 2b. Allowing botting will cause many more accounts/toons to be created. Servers will fill up to the point it's unplayable. Legits won't have a chance...thus they won't be able to purchase rmt. Again, this would be another end of L2.
PVP botting is a separate issue. Although it's not as game ending as the rmt/farmer bots, it is apparently frustrating to many legits, as it takes their chances of success away. But then again, without rmt, these scripted pvp bots wouldn't have the gear they have in most cases to begin with. Yes, I know there's some legits that are able to rise to the top...but in general, the path of least resistance (purchasing/botting) is much more appealing to many.
So to truly rid L2 of pvp bots, you would also have to get them at the source, the rmt bots. And again, if all that banning is done (properly), there wouldn't be anything left. We're to a point in L2's life where it's almost a point of no return. Think financially, and you'll see what I'm thinking. A business either grows, or it dies...it's quite simple. You don't cut your revenue. I think they know where there revenue is coming from. ;-)
I don't think there's too many options left really.
1a:
1b:
2a:
2b.
Ooor, ooor, combine the options you have provided into something like this:
3:
RMT/Bot servers (the ones we currently have fulfill that position quite nicely)
and
Legit servers (started from scratch with no option EVER of transfer from the RMT/Bot servers to those servers)
So you have a list of servers in which for every server you have either:
*Server Name* - This is bot server, enter at your own risk if you are a masochist (like most of the current legit L2 player base is)
*Server Name* - This is legit server, enter if you want to have access only to NStore; no transfers allowed; you get banned straight to hell even for mentioning something about using bots
They don't even need to make too many legit servers, I think even 1 is enough. This way they make money off of the NStore of this server and off of the Bot Servers RMT and whatnot.
Hey they could even try to make a server that is on the same payment method as in the past (monthly fee, characters started from 0, ban any offender, no transfers allowed towards and from it) to run concomitantly with the existing ones.

Nice thought, but the problem is, when L2 started, they were legit servers. The illegits found their way in. Where there's rules, there's people that break them. The bots need real players in order to have purpose ($)...for without customers, there would be no bots (rmt).
Take rmt bots out of the equation altogether, and assume pvp bots (scripters) are the only kind... Then bots wouldn't be as big a business, but more of a tool....people will still find a way to introduce them into any server of any game. It's sadly just how it is. There's even cheaters and hackers playing freakin' Mario Kart...it's so sad but true. A new "legit" server wouldn't stay legit for long. I'm afraid at this point in time, if anyone really is so angry and fed up with the current retail situation, the only other alternative would be a private server or maybe innova (but I'm not impressed with innova, and don't agree with privates). I'm personally ok with what retail has become. I'm content with what I have and do not have. When the game is finally done, I'll graciously move on. Honestly, when I quit in 2009, then googled it again when GoD just started, I was very surprised it's still here. So cherish what we have while it lasts ^^
I think that we are all end up with the same conclusion. The solution is not at hand and of course is not an easy one.
Either way i would love to read JUJI or VALI (more JUJI since Producer) opinions and ideas in regards to this.
I am also happy to read that we have a very good and mature discussion around this topic, i have to say that this is the first time i read a mature forum discussion.
I will keep on sending tickets in regards to botting but GF is a complete insult to any player... there were at least 500 bots ...
Even back in the early days when bot trains ran thru the starter towns uncontested the so called Chinese farmers never prevented me from doing things in game. I cant recall a single time an automated character kept me from completing a quest. I do know the assisted players are very efficient PVPs, but the can be beaten. If you let a bot prevent you from having fun you are too weak to be playing this game as a matter of fact you shouldnt be playing any games.

~IMHO~
COC is one good example where it is nearly impossible to complete the quests due to program use.
know literally dozens of legit players for years are contemplating using scripts to be competitive in the pvp aspect of the game.
one great example of a script I have seen alot lately is the auto immunity once you attack a player. its fun to just run around and only attacking a player once and moving on to the next and see auto immune popping up all over the seige field on just the players you attacked.
since lots of money trades hands and its a business for many of ncwest's most loyal customers, I find there has to be a connection. And the only thing that makes sense to me is that there are players who have working relationships with the administration. It is the only connection other than incompetence that makes any sense.
and after multiple reports of top players and clans without any action....does NCWEST believe or want to do anything about program/bot use?

What has Weakness to do with botting? dude, i can always grab my summoner and curse the hell out of botters and make them disapear for 10 minutes... but then they come back
Explain me please, how you do GF quest with 500 bots arround you? Is simple BS... the RB appear and the bots kill it cos you have 100+ characters arround you there is not even a pixel of space... is ridiculous...
You are strong enough GREAT! GG! you have to think that you are less than 0.00001% of the legit players that are complaining about that.
I respect your point of view but i think you are looking at the tree and not looking at the forest here
I do often see one issue with calling people in top clan bots- some of these top clans and top people are NOT botting but because they are good and have good gear everyone thinks they are bots.
I see it all the time- legit people getting called bots because they are better or more experienced or worked harder to get higher lvl.
I do agree many use programs for exp and many use for pvp but NOT all do.
So some of the people that you might be reporting might have been checked (logs) and found to be playing legit.

Since March, 11th, 2014, as the Ceremony of Chaos has been blocked by bots, I've missed 133 CoC matches (out of 352) which resulted in faling to complete the Mysterious Suggestion-2 quest 10 (ten) times.
The total losses for the last 44 hours of (semi-wasted) play time:
56,404,960 Skill Points
30,000 Fame Points
appr. 160 million of adena
Can you please suggest me a method to quickly compensate the aforementioned losses?

True....pointing the bot finger is the quickest reaction for the jealous, angry, ego driven players that can't explain why someone is better than them. Must be a bot! It is a bot! Report!!!

It's never been a guarantee that you can get into CoC matches. Now that there's an apparent bot-signing issue I guess it's even harder? I don't really do a lot of these, but the box popped up the other day and I wasn't doing anything so I joined...right in. Maybe I'm lucky or I just don't care as much so I was able to get in. I don't rely on CoC, nor plan my day around it, so it's no biggie to me. How do we really know it's a bot issue? How do we not know it's a bunch of CoC-addicts finger blasting away at their buttons the second it opens? Just asking ;-)
And said humans are so fast at joining that the notification icon doesn't even appear.
Something's not right in this hypothesis...
Personally, I don't wait for the invite...I watch the time, and click the icon by the circle map in the top right corner...waiting for the invite takes too long.

So add a little observation in EULA, "*Wall of Argos is not part of this rules, in that place you can bot for free and use 3rd tools to automate you gameplay."
