it is hell if you want to complete quests in wall of Argos or forsaken plains, u don't have just 1 bot per room, you have like 10 bots per room, and even worse is they killsteal, in the past bots at least if u targeted a mob they would leave it alone, not anymore...
And by the names given to the bots u can conclude they all belong to the same big company... can you guess which ? ;p
I mean there never was problem in delivering information about bots to NC staff, so new fancy "bot reporting" form won't solve anything.
After all those years of ingnoracne i personally doubt, that players will sitill have enough of inner strength to attempt to report any bots with this tool, as demotivation to do so was brought to perfection:
1) you report bot party via support ticket
2) GM Tangent will provide you with botted message, that he transfers problem to GM Christopher
3) GM Chrisopher will provide you with botted message: we will look into it
4) one week later: your ticket is marked solved, you are asked if you're satisfied or not
5) bots are still on the same spot, even in identical coorinates you reported
5) you say: no I'm not satisfied! Bots are still out there!
6) nothing happens...
7) two weeks later: bots are still on the same spot, even in identical coorinates you reported
8) three weeks later: bots are still on the same spot, even in identical coorinates you reported
9) four weeks later: bots are still on the same spot, even in identical coorinates you reported
10) you repeat steps 1) - 9) few times with same result
11) now you know, that you're totally screwed, nobody will solve anything about bots
12) somebody come on forum and asks: Hey, they've made new bot report form, does it work?
13) you respond him: No, problem isn't in form, problem is in people behind that form.
Quit once for all or accept it.. personally i accepted that the bots are part of the game but surely affected my time i spend in this game and the love i have for it. anyway

i quit this game and went to wow 1.5 year ago and i find it wonderful. l2 is great too but bots have destroy it and gms only care for money and nothing else.
I don't even understand why bot reporting function even exist in this game. It's not like NC can simply ban all bots/ranger users, because if they did - who would remain? A small bunch of most dedicated hardcore legits who would hardly provide NC with any substential income? Nah, it's not the way NC does things. They rather have full servers of players abusing this game in any perverted ways they can manage, time to time ban some of them so that they could show-off that they are actually being true about that 'Lineage II third-party program (Bots) violation policy', but they can't just ban every single offender, because it's like.... ~95% of servers population. So forget about that useless 'bot reporting', go buy some NCoins, get some cool stuff from NCstore and enjoy the wonderful content of l2.:)

I know it's hard, I started over so many times that I lost the count, but I think in your case there's another and better choice, as former paying subscriber: organize and protest with all your acquaintances, like sending videos and letters to the Korean NCSoft (http://kr.ncsoft.com/korean/), and stuff like that if you can.
I'd gladly do it but my time spent on these servers was less than 3 months and most people in that clan were botters, organizing anything with them was out of the question, that's why I just decided to leave everything, I had nothing but 1 character with event items, an hat and no adena.
Its extremely strange that whats going on, actually going on.
Lineage 2 still have a great platform with great potential. This could be a amazing game after some tunings, and I would bet it could be revitalized to attract new players and still bring some cash flow for the few employees at NCWest.
So the question is why all this is happening. Why does it feel like NOONE from NCwest listen to, or answers, the criticism made be the community?
I seriously don't think it has to do incompetence at the NCwest staff. I would assume that they are as frustrated as the players are.
I don't think that its about trying to kill the game since the developer team in Seoul still have some major updates for L2 in the pipeline.
So what can it be? Lack of technology to prevent the bots from infesting the game? Lack of actual FTEs to deal with the problem, or is it some strange untold directives from NCkorea?
Lets say they got guide lines from Korea:
Do not ban bots unless the got 20+ warnings (they still bring some income)
Do not respond to the community if it requires answers that may reviel game/company internal directives.
Gagged and hands tied, period. Nothing of what they do makes any sense at the moment.
Look at Diablo3 for example. Yes its a new game, but Lineage2 could be far a better game if it was maintained based on player input. Diablo3 community raged at the auction house RMT. Blizzard removed it in the Reaper of Souls expansion. Blizzard was very communicative in the community dealing with that question.
I realize that, with a quick head math, NCsoft is getting far more $$ out of the game with NCoins than when the game was PTP. This is a parameter that will be tough to deal with. The more the merrier.
The NCoin system could stay with a revision of its content. Selling fluff fluff in L2 was always a success factor but with no PTW influx. That's ok in a player experience perspective. Selling consumables such Soulshots is also ok but ruined some aspects of the crafting community.
EXP/SPboost items could be available in NCstore but also available as drops from hunting.
Events need to be in a healthy delicate balance. In game events with no NCoin involvement and "Buy the coins" events maybe every other time.
The leveling system need to force players to explore the map.
