Survivability of pets after 85

I would like to know opinions from players about the pets after lvl 85 :confused:
I'm not asking about usefulness :rolleyes: but if any just tell
And also which class is better for them in your opinion :D

Cougar
Strider
Fenrir
Buffalo

The main reason is that I haven't used my pets after Awakening :eek:

They are as useful as no-grade items. The best pet you can have is a boxed Iss.

They don't. They're a walking one-shot.

I guess as a healer one could position oneself out of harms way more often than any dd class, buffer or tank.

And as a healer you can always rez the dead bird. And rez the dead bird. And rez the dead bird. And.....well you should have gotten the point by now, right?

Well since you don't want to know about usefulness, I will tell you zero (which coincidentally is how useful any of them are on a scale of 1-10 lol).


And for survivability, it's already been answered....it will die as soon as it's attacked for the most part anywhere you'd go at an awakened level. It's only chance is to hide it far away in a corner so it can survive. If you're a healer, no prob if it gets wacked. So with that being said, it goes full circle to usefulness, which you don't want to hear about anyways....and again, there's nothing to say about usefulness anyways, thus making the point of trying to keep it alive is also without comment. ;-)

Their survivility is as good as their usefulness.

For those that like the fancy aspect of the pets, they arent totally useless, imo.


I still enjoy my wolfie, whom I use like a epic mount. Nothing beats me while I'm doing quest 'n running here and there mounted on my fenrir!


Also, wolves are the best DD companion specially now that we got back the open field bosses with great xp reward. They are a plus if you have a couple of wolves in the range of 60-76, since they bring awesome damage if you like to farm low lvl bosses in alts (self mentees, clannies or crp quests, maybe?)
