I wouldn't mind a "monthly fee" again if it would include considerable XP or VIT bonus stuff.
As this is designed it's only tempting for high end/end game players and widens the gap in oly/pvp between 99ers and the lowbies atop of the (stupid) damage malus/bonus that should be completely removed from game.

I would consider taking a subscription myself if they will add a Adventurer's Rune (30-day) in the future aswell.

It would be better that New Players can get a faster boost to hit 99. This way the end game will be more interesting, PvP-wise vs more Players. I noticed casual New Players are quiting or getting stuck around 95 level. The road is simply way to long for them to even reach our level range without spending tons of dollars into the game. Once you hit 99 they are sick of the game and they take a break from it ...
Prestige Rune (30-day) is only usefull for RAID farmers, solo is waste of time.
Eva's Rune (30-day) is for 99 end game users (Olympiad/Siege/COC) basically all PvP related situations.
Adventurer's Rune (30-day) will be for all the other levels (1-98) who still have to make it to the end game.
Also this type of Rune will also ensure that people are able to start a new Class much faster and play with multiple characters in the same account by choice. Like Aion Free-to-Play. Also the amount of characters created and played newly will mean a economy boost in-game since all will need new and different gear options. It will be eassier to play and exp in general. Also it will mean the amount of Prestige subscription might increase alot more then now.
For players who think EXP still goes slowly. They can always buy additional EXP Runes appropiate for their level range. (I, II, III). To make it even faster then general subscription users.

So? Join a Clan. Camp, put spies and farm RB and Epics with them like it supposed to be? What is the problem? People are too lazy. They expect the moment they hit 99 to be able to have enough adena to buy and equip R99 gear directly.
I remember back in the days of Hellbound I was 80 and still running around in a Dark Crystal Robe Set with Arcana Mace on my EE. I had to farm with the Clan party to get my Dynasty items after several months. Gracia I even had to farm with the Clan RB Tiat non stop to equip the Clan with Vesper weapons and skillbooks. Now? People stand in town make kartia solo and group and log out. What else you expect? LOL People don't have the mind set to go out to EXP solo at Fairies, Orbis or Cemetary anymore. It is all about dailly dungeons. Well that aint gonna help you equip right. Clan vs. RB and help equip members it was all about before and now. Many people are missing this picture in general about MMORPG's. Either it will be one for all or all for one.

I solo my Healer 97>99 for 4-5 weeks straight I played 5 hours a day in Cememtary (97+). I did this because NCsoft added 100% (30-day) runes. 2,5% per hour AOE style. Update came live and no more Unidentified items. It was a nightmare for me. But in those 5 weeks I took literally 6 full drops of R99 Robe gear and I was happy since those prices went sky high so I could afford the gear I needed on 99. Now all I see is people complain about the drops? Then I wonder did they play 5 hours a day for a month? or just 2 hours 1 time a week? Today I ran in Orbis 3, none. I ran in Cemetary, none. None Solo. All dailies with crappy Elcyum Powder drops or EAR, EWR. Maybe the people need to look what they are doing wrong themselves these days?
Maybe I see MMORPG as something different then all other players are seeing it. I do not know. MMO is not something you finish in 1 hour.

This is so true, i came back last november and decided to start from scratch, last weekend i hit lvl 95 with weapon and amor r95 waiting for me since lvl 94 but im slowing down my exp not doing my daily since lvl 92 because i was thinking of this.
From a new / returning player you have only 2 option rush to 99 in TW and farm epic or farm aden and lvl slower to keep with adena flow.
I'm in a small clan playing with friends and we don't have many ppl that ca do epic but im still making 200-300 kk a week from old instance zaken/freya/fritzena.
Just a thought. Maybe NCsoft should consider something like this in the future to attract more New Players.

So, The Prestige Rune gives 100% in drop, adena, and blah blah. So.... a party of 7 with 1 party member running the rune..... 100% divided by 7 is 14%....... a raid party of 14..... 100% divided by 14 is 7%.......
Better hope everyone in that party has a rune running or you just wasting your monies. Well known fact: Server crashes have been happening lately.

So, I said "Why the hell not?" and tried to purchase this "Prestige Pack". It's only 15bucks. I did say "tried", right? Oh, yeah, that's right I did say "tried". What the FUZZBUCKETS! The payment system states it can't process my order because I used up too many serial codes. Chaaaaaaaeah, It's been about a month since I used 2 codes. One to assign the coins, and one to assign the nifty thrifty BEWR. Looks like NCSucks doesn't want my monies. NCSucks sucks at monetizing this broke *** game.

You can't just buy one, it's a subscription item. If you want it for a month you have to use a credit card and then cancel the subscription so you don't get charged again next month. When this item was first launched people raged about the lame items from it,so as a caution I would see what others have been getting off it. NC needs to step it up more before I subscribe. I don't think SP scrolls really are much of a perk or reward for continuous subscriptions. Considering the poor customer service and lack of in-game GMing forget it.
Maybe NC Soft should consider separating the servers. Make one or two servers subscription only and a couple more free to play. NC store can exist on both types but it will sell cosmetic items only, absolutely nothing to affect gameplay.
