Found this on my interwebz travel's, and figured I would share a chuckle with the community. This is a real, actual question, some people really shouldn't have access to sharp object's. :D
I liked number 4 the most, especially the caption, "We get it, your baby has a face, good for your baby." :D
Ugh, I hate parents who try to rub their kids into everyone else. I was just in a mumble who some father thought it would be cute to have his 5 year old talk to everyone. Then a day later, the father complains because I drop the f-bomb and because he won't wear his headset ("why should I have to censer what's in my house when you should just speak more cautiously around kids"... seriously he said this to me), everyone else is supposed to censer themselves because of his kid in his house. I have a message for all you parents:
You can't set up "safe" rooms in this mumble thing like we used to do in vent ? If you can you should just create one and point him to it, his house may not be a public environment but his choosing to bring the public into his house is his own choice, I would have F bombed him until he left mumble. :D
You could also tell him well this is my house and in my house its a rule the F bomb must be used at certain interval's. ;)
I have two kids. I censor myself around them (or I try) but I don't worry about outside influence. We do get to have those talks about "Those are not words that you need to say" and "Age-Appropriate Words"
The OP should be smart enough to use a headset or turn his speakers down, not expect everyone to censure themselves for his sake alone though. I'd just advise what I already did, set up a "safe" room, if the other person finds himself alone in it, well maybe he'll get the message and wear a headset. :D
The simple answer is parents lack reason. I tried suggesting the leaders setup G rated rooms, but since the leaders were also parents they sided with the parent. I was kicked shortly after for 2 reasons (1 being not watching what I say due to kids, 2 when asked if I ever played pokemon, I said no because I thought it was stupid). Parents are oversensitive and are completely unreasonable. It's just the way it is.
