Someone has to participate 7 times in order to complete the 2 quests that reward SP.
That means you can't finish earlier than 02.30 a.m.
People need to wake up at 07.30 a.m. on average
That means 5 hours to sleep.
And here is when the problem starts. When CoC starts, You can't do anything else but wait in town till you see the icon on the mini map. And even when you do that you fail 50% of the time to register (Magmeld). Worse I suppose on Chronos/Naia.

The fix is crashing on Windows Vista 64 bit, same as the last time this update for Chrome was attempted. By crash I mean: Blue Screen of Death... Did you guys at least test on all Windows versions both 32 and 64 bit? Everything was fine previously this patch.
The client didnt crash on Windows 7 64 bit, but that is not my main computer for playing...

To be honest, there is no deadline, it is just rough time, to prevent players asking for game after 1 hour, for example.
Any kind of common sense business politics would suggest the need of x time to accomplish task A + a certain percentage of backup time to fix everything in case of failure...it's a thing about image if not costs

Oh Mr. Game master sir! i think at least 90% of players use software like wtfast/battleping etc to BE ABLE TO PLAY. i was able to anticipate something like this 2 h before the maintainace and the nc soft team is not able to check what they are updating...idk i think some1 is getting a bit overpaid there...just saying :rolleyes:

I often leave L2 logged in with a store setup. I use VNC Server to control my desktop when I am away from home, as I have other things on this computer which I need to access when away. If I happen to open up Lineage 2 window, the mouse doesn't work, and the keyboard is non responsive.
I am using a SideWinder x5 mouse, and when I start L2 it disables all the mouse functions except the most basic things i.e. left & right click... How do you even play a game like this with a basic mouse... I will this be fixed? It didn't happen before this update.

I have done all as you asked and still I have a game Guard problem :(
Do not talk nonsense, these tools are only placebo and do not produce any noticeable effect (and they can not).
Thats you opinion and it is wrong opinion. It helps significantly. Not much about ping but about chokes and slide show or in cases when you cannot move at all.
Fix your gameguard to allow game keyboards like G13, Nostromo etc to work please.

I have Razer Synapse 2.0 running an Orbweaver and Mamba and I haven't had any issues other than having a toon banned for use of the Orbweaver a week ago.
Lineage 2 say i have a **** program.
It is very funny, only i have it is G13 software. But it is'nt stop bot on Naia. Wish ya luck.

As far as I remember this is the 2nd time that they are trying to fix this GG and GC issue and screw with another thing.

You blocked ping reducer programs but the server still full of bots and ppl using scripts, just log in and u will see it!

So.. NC knows that the majority of their customers (paying customers) use BP/ZP/WTFast.. and instead of telling their supplier(GG) to rollback or start programming properly.. they simply trash the ones that put money in NC's bank account.
Remove GG from game.. it's not even working for what it's used... only blocks what it shouldn't: Skype, Chrome, Ping proxies, Some Razer Software.. FFS..

It's just nice. I'm running game on basically clean pc, I have never had here any battleping, wtfast or any device as nostromo, razer, whatever. This pc is virgin. My keyboard is simple, my mouse has only 5 normal buttons, no extras.
Running programs: windows itself(!), skype and firefox. And I still get this GG error, I cannot even see error number cause it's behind "ok" button (stupidiest designer desicion ever).

Can't even get past the login screen on my GF's computer... once you enter username and password and hit ok just locks up there. They haven't even bothered to respond to her support ticket either however; when they do I am not holding out any hope it will be fixed. If I displayed even half the ineptitude at my job that this staff continually exhibits, I would be fired.
Max number of clannies logged in during what is normally our busiest hours: 15.......15????? unable to do any Clan raids or dailys within Clan CUS THEY COULDN'T LOG IN.
Many of them don't even use ping services or gaming mouse. A few were actually able to get in BUT, either got dc'ed or GG after a few mins

22 may 2014 I was updated LA2 client with new update. A problem with using WTFast is not fixed (again gameguard error 620/hacking tool discovered...). After unload WTFast a game working correctly.
PLEASE, FIX IT!! We are living in Russia, and much people playing on your official servers long time (3-10 years). After replaced a server from Europe to USA, internet ping is get up strongly. Without internet accelerators like wtfast, battleping, lowerping etc we cannot to play in our Lineage as always now: much freezes, lags, unable to target................ No olympiad, no ceremony of chaos, no sieges, no normal pvp for many people now. Quest exp only. :( A game must to die for as??

Stop using Wireless Mouse when you are a 1337 Gamer. Use USB based Logitech MX Gamer/Razor mouse. Wireless Keyboard all fine. I never install any of the Keyboard/Mouse software. It is useless when buttons on these items control speeds/dps everything without the need of the software.

Maybe start using the Launcher the right way how it supposed to work. So it will start the game and game guard in the right order. They changed the way how L2 Launcher work too you know. It no longer checks files at every start of the client. It is 10x faster starting any of your L2 clients now.
Some players are complaining about lagg/delays. What Internet Provider you got? Cheapest Package? Stop Wireless/WiFi when playing videogames. Re-install your PC every 6 months. Before you start playing update Flash/Java/Windows/Virus/Graphic Card Software first. Play low-detail. High-detail is useless in L2 when playing it for years. Most laggs/delays are caused by certain graphic cards who are not compatible or using the right software for hardware/graphic acceleration with your current desktop screens. Reset Routers/Hubs (30 sec off power nets) once every week. Check cables/re-connect. Got enough RAM? Players will load slower on your screen when porting if got 2-4 GB obviously. i5 Intel+8GB higher RAM systems perfect for Lineage 2.

If you don't understand why people are having problems with game guard then why are you inputting your useless 2 cents?
1. My computer has top part in all categories including twin GTX780 in SLI
2. I use Wireless Razer Mamba 2012, Orbweaver and a Roccat Ryos MK Pro
3. All my drivers are kept upto date
4. I doubt most ppl could afford a 90mbps internet package if it was even offered in their area. Best I could get in my town is 50mbps which is plenty fast but even with that, I get occasional delays whether it is caused by internet weather, something due to equipment issues in my small town or the kids streaming crap to all their devices. WTfast helped smooth that out when it occurred however; after update WTFast is detected as a hacking tool and the game closes so I don't load it and I can load game with no issues or lag.
My GFs, computer is another matter, after update when can't even get past login screen, just locks up after entering username and password. So again, if you don't have an understanding of why people are having issues then just be happy you don't and ****
I haven't tried ping services myself, my lag wasn't really that horrible. I've turned my graphics down and that seems to be fine. I can run anything else on high graphics no issues, L2 I have no idea why it runs as it does. I'm in North America even and my internet isn't bad either. Who knows
my ping improve from 300 to 480 i feel it really nice. I work 10 hours day for 6 days a week to pay for batleping and you ruin it..

I don't know how this guy pretend we play L2 in Brazil with a ping of 250ms +.
This guy don't understand his own business and that's the real problem here but the fact is: He has a really good game in his hands and that's what save him of his stupidity.
I try to watch movies when L2 Client is open with Flash/WDMP/DivX/PowerDvD. all fine
I try to play L2 with my G21 keyboard software. all fine
I try to play L2 with VPN and Battleping. all fine
I try to play L2 with Ventrilo/TeamSpeak 3 Clients open. all fine
On my Laptop I got three Clients open in Aden Shop mode. Modzilla FF/IE 11 open. all fine
Stop using Wireless Mouse when you are a 1337 Gamer. Use USB based Logitech MX Gamer/Razor mouse. Wireless Keyboard all fine. I never install any of the Keyboard/Mouse software. It is useless when buttons on these items control speeds/dps everything without the need of the software.
I do not understand why some players have so many problems with Game Guard? Some players said they are not using the L2 Launcher to start to game. Maybe start using the Launcher the right way how it supposed to work. So it will start the game and game guard in the right order. They changed the way how L2 Launcher work too you know. It no longer checks files at every start of the client. It is 10x faster starting any of your L2 clients now.
Some players are complaining about lagg/delays. What Internet Provider you got? Cheapest Package? Stop Wireless/WiFi when playing videogames. Re-install your PC every 6 months. Before you start playing update Flash/Java/Windows/Virus/Graphic Card Software first. Play low-detail. High-detail is useless in L2 when playing it for years. Most laggs/delays are caused by certain graphic cards who are not compatible or using the right software for hardware/graphic acceleration with your current desktop screens. Reset Routers/Hubs (30 sec off power nets) once every week. Check cables/re-connect. Got enough RAM? Players will load slower on your screen when porting if got 2-4 GB obviously. i5 Intel+8GB higher RAM systems perfect for Lineage 2.

Sometimes I really do not understand what Players are doing in the background while playing Lineage 2. Why play Lineage 2 and watch Movies at the same time? Try /Run Windows find your Logbook. It will tell you all the system program warnings and hardware and software system errors all the way back till the moment you installed Windows for the last time. You can solve nearly every problem easy.

There will be a GameGuard update to fix the issue with Chrome not working while Lineage II is running.
Fixed an issue where mouse lag was caused by using a specific gaming mouse.
Fixed an issue where the system damage displayed the incorrect amount of damage received when a player used the Topaz – Skill Shot against an enemy with a damage reduction skill activated.
Fixed an issue where the UI window would disappear after failing to compound jewels.
L2 Store Update: Erupting Vitality Potions and other items will be added.

The issues with ping services like BattlePing and WTFast occurring after the GameGuard update are currently being investigated by our QA/Production team.
We'll provide an update when we have it for you. Thanks for your patience in the meantime.
Also, just to be clear, if you turn off those programs, you should be able to log in without an issue.
Any updates on this as right now we hit day 2 and without BattlePing this game is no fun to play..
next time include these progs in your tests before deciding to roll out a software update that impacts the majority of your player base, just a thought.

I play with regular mouse and Keyboard, open l2 in louncher and update it when needed... but since I live far from the USA Servers doesent matter how good my internet is ( I have 10mb/s, the best i can get in my small city). Ill alway have like 0,5s - 1,5s delay without battleping and this just make the game sucks.
Too much crying for lower ping services.
Yesterday and today I am playing fine and coc is a lot better too. (Though I don't know if more coc bots were banned or coc bots have delay).

Gameguard and game client have nothing to do with launcher. Launcher does the same you do when you click the file called l2.exe

Simple as that. Use tracert command to discover your personal route. I have no lags at 4 Mbit speed (Only 1-2 times/year and only for 1 day may be). And I don't need any lowerping placebo services. Lots of ppl having trouble with 100 Mbit.

without software these programmable thingies are equal with zero , its not useless when you set elixirs/cp pots/etc on x/y loc on the screen and a mouse 4/5/6/7/8th button is clicking on it

because gameguard is equal with crap? how is connected gameguard to launcher? i still open faster clients by clicking on l2.exe then launcher :(

not everyone can afford for a 90/9 100% stable internet, you should look around what is the average internet speed in different countries

also NC should be more considerate here as BP/WTFast etc. are paid services which we pay to be able to play their game so this is really just not cool :(
Please provide an official statement from the management around the proxy issue and ETA for the resolution.
Please bear in mind that while the previous GG update was breaking only browsers, this have direct impact on a financial side whereby players pay for the service to improve a game-play, now that service cannot be used but the money have already been payed.
Could you please consider ignoring your customers regarding this GameGuard situation at least over the weekend as well? We appreciate not recieving any details regarding current GameGuard problems.
i have gameguard error 1002 and sometimes 620, i cant log in since update.
I am not using special keyboard or mouse, i am not using ping programs/bots/scripts or whatever 3dparty software. I even reinstalled l2 from sratch.

So whats the problem? Every normal company would just immediately rolled back old version of protection and worked WAY harder to get new non-problematic version.
Why the hell I cant use Logitech G13???? It is confirmed right here on oboard by NCsoft representative that these keyboards are allowed.

GameGuard is working as intended. GG's purpose is to break most windows applications, but still allow bots to work on Lineage 2. >.>
I wish someone would come to their senses and just remove this invasive bloatware from Lineage 2... NCSoft did for Aion and I don't see any negatives there? Maybe a few extra aion players got keylogged, or some type of macro software got through... but who cares. Enough of that still happens with GG.

I understand there's this issue with the ping softwares and all, but this is part of the update too.
