BUT after 1-2 mounts the give option to ppl free transfer and a lot of old players form all pre-GOD servers who was merge in naia+chronos got chance to transfer to brand new server where all new players started from 0. So even in start this not was same for all.
surely NCWest Staff already have something in mind in this regard, although it has not been done because it does not support more than 6000 + players on a single server(and their alt's company and bots).

Merge them and get it over with, not like people don't know its coming. Then Genocide, KsK and Enigma can stare at each other in shock, not knowing what to do on a server that's not one sided. :D

If I were NC West I would carefully re-think the possibillities. I strongly believe the disadvantages are much higher then advantages from merging a server. However at one point there is a point of no return and they have to merge them simply because Bartz and Magmeld are bleeding dry. Server transfers are mainly the cause of it. Players simply leave these servers to Naia and Cronos.
I strongly recommend to merge both Magmeld and Bartz together since those two server are the ones around 1.500 - 2.000 populations. Shilen on the other hand still got a 2.000 - 2.500 strong population. Since we do not know the average of the automated users population these numbers might add up around 1.000+1.000+2.000 after a 99% accurate mass ban before server merge.
When Ertheia update comes out I would Merge Bartz+Magmeld(+Shilen. This is only possible with a solid Ban Wave on all three of them). I also would consider open a new Server, which will also pull some % population away from the merged Servers. I actually know from most of my friends they rather have a fresh start with the new Class on a brand new Server. Rather then making one in a already stuffed up Server with +16 weapons and +10 Gear ...
So it is all up to NC West what to do. I only hope they will decide the right thing to do what they think is best.
Timezone (GMT+X) can always be decided after the merge. At the moment it is useless to make a Poll about it. It is more important to either Merge those three Servers 'Yes' or 'No'.

This is not longer an option. Server transfers basically ruined the balance on all five servers in general. It turned five servers into two popular servers, one average and two on life support due to it. This is normal since humans do not have patience to wait so they leave faster by any means necessary to another server for a new challenge.
Creating a new character on another server aint an option either. Good luck fighting all the bots in those crowded locations. This is a fact. I tried it before to start over again on Naia but it aint worth my time. This only works if you have friends with groups 24/7 who can help powerlevel you. 99/99/80/80 with non stop EXP/VIT runes within a month. A friend of mine said he did it in two weeks average. However I said not all players can afford this you know.
The Players who could afford it, who were looking for more action already left Bartz/Magmeld for either Naia or Cronos. The Players who could not afford the transfer nor do not want to transfer will remain on the old ones. Those remaining players are simply just asking NC West to consider a game change by merging those three low capacity servers into one big one like Cronos and Naia. I'd rather have three big healthy servers then two plus three on life support. Maybe this will also benefit the Dimensional Siege competition more if we had three healthy big servers.

I don't follow the politics on the post-GOD servers, but what has aaaaaaaaaaalways happened in previous mergers is 2-3 months down the road all powerclans from the constituent servers merge/ally to form yet another one-sided server.
I do follow the politics, you would have the two strongest not liking each other at all, and the former strongest of the three either joining one side, or gathering as much of the smaller clans as they could to form a third side.
It would be fun to watch for awhile is all. Yes, sooner or later one side or another would become dominate, but I think they would still have healthy resistance, so the server wouldn't be completely one sided. :D
your not seeing the bigger picture. Ncwest makes $ on transfers not on merges why would they do for free what they are getting paid to do?
They would make even more money on transfers post merge, history has already shown this. People would transfer to the new "mega" server to join in the action, or to simply escape a losing situation to enter a fresh one.
After the dust settles you get the next wave of out transfer's from some of the losers looking for new homes. In the end its a win win for NC as always. ;)
I login , i am little boring so dont like to go for fragmants. i have checked wiki and saw some quest i havent done and i was ready to start. then i decide tocheck party match and i found a raidboss and aplly they accept me o go there and waiting 20 minutes.

we start i hear something about boxed or not i know you can have a player active and one to sell/buy mode but how can box in raid?

i have +6 full twilight
causal hp pots and cakes plus 2 heals.
maybe i am not good player but i have play raidbosses and i solo 10 same lvl monsters so i am good
the problem is in my view that you cannot play raid bossed in box how the hell can you heal if you have on your other char or whatever?
anyway i think at 60% because it is 10 oclock in the morning in NY that there are very few people play in servers and ncsoft has big problem because there are no lot of active players/ maybe we can see peoples but i think is boxed or whatever. thats why we see ncsoft try to figure out how to make money and see these updates. if we are many then more people buy small things and company has money.

i think servers must merge and because i am european user{ but always when i play i choose american server because in my age there are no european servers} . i prefer at least gmt+0
and with merge ncsoft must make an agreement with ovh they have a program with very little ping .

Talk the servers have 2k+ players is total sh.it, we talk fro real main chars and any of this servers not have 300-500 main chars who login 1-7 time in 7 day's.
That why this servers need to be one. with ~1500 almost dayle active ppl server will be best. Mor wars, more pvp, more activity in CS, more side servers, more funn in Dim CS... more from all !!!
They should just start a fresh new server along with the Ertheia update, this will bring players from all the dieing servers into a balanced one, also, new players would come back to L2. Naturally the other servers will slowly die, and the flux of players will continue

Real issue is why do PLAYERS cry for server merges after THEY destroy the servers. Their dead due to the same issues everywhere. If you need I could make a list. However I going to guess that you already know whats up with that.
i say no... im playing in Bartz, the reason he is dead is because the gms do nothing against bot
You can see clan connecting bot partys in sieges or valakas, baium, etc etc ( I have sent videos about this to gm's and they did nothing) can see for example the use of auto pot here http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=267195
people leave the game for these reasons, this game became a software which connect and let a program do it alone, its not funny. While you transfer your dollars NCsoft, will allow you do what you want :rolleyes:
the solution is not merge, the solution is clean servers people using bot, *******, tower, etc etc.. but... Nc$oft has only one objective: Lineage = Pay to win
