pretty simple question...how do you have fun with this game?
-I used to have fun, running from red toons or trying to kill them...
-forming a top notch party to kill something that would drop something good just for the chance of a reward
-playing olympiad to see how i measured up
-joining a clan to have fun in pvp or gain more wealth via drops
nowadays, none of the above mean anything to me
the majority of top players utilize this game as a business model, stealing from the corporation to line their own pockets
the everyday players have no way to become competitive
the game managers either cheat their own company or support the top players by turning a blind eye
the odds to spend money and gain something important are non-existant
I just dont see any fun in this game either by spending money or following the rules/eula
obviously the players that break the eula must be having fun...is that all that is left?
Truth is, the only way a legit would ever have fun in this game, is a social hangout to farm exp with their friends/family (at least until they get banned) without any desire for competition or pvp. That's it.
Exact what valoran says (competition for endgame raids is still exciting even as pve clans:)).
Im having fun with my clan and ally mates ( many in same ally 4-5 yrs and more) by playing the social aspect and boosting general gear average of everyone even with these drop rates. Not everyone need to have blessed vala/anthy or dark/pve sets,myself included.
Nice ally teamwork with players who acutally play this game as intended still exists. Since those alliances got few (at least on chronos) and those clans mostly contain friendly ppl ( =so cant rly war these other alliances), there is still a way to enjoy the pvp aspect (sieges,coc,oly,gainak ws). Days time is too short,so enjoying the usual daytime given - with raids, exp and chat is by far enough to be entertained.
If you all think this is utopia and non-existent in game at this point: You are welcome to join my ally to make your own picture.
Only thing that is really necessary if u r interested to join us:
- no botted toon,no cheats
- being a honest teamplayer ( noone is forced to join every event - everyone has moody days where prefer to stay alone^^).
