Do not waste your time with this game, it is full of bots and rtm gms barely appear in the game, automated responses and equal when it opens a complaint about this game bots is in order.

Seriously, these coquettish messages ("I'm thinking of coming back but I'm not sure if it's worth it, please please someone persuade me to do it!!!") are getting old.
How much courage does it take to try out a FREE2PLAY game???
No matter if it's good or bad, just try it already ffs, and see everything for yourself.
It's easy to start (the Path to Awakening provides you free gear and shots till lvl 85+), and once you get an awakened lvl 85 character, you can play it for a while and see if it's the class that you really like to play. If it is not, reroll and try another (spend a couple more weeks, that is).
And nope, you won't be able to catch up to the "top players", unless you are willing to invest dozens thousands of dollars/euros. But if you just want to play and have fun, you can surely find it if you join a decent PvE clan.
And nope, no one is here, so it doesn't really matter if you come back or not.
The two major servers are overpopulated, so you better go to the "dead ones", at least then you'll have another reason to complain about something without having really start to play.
Who cares about classes? Lineage 2 has always been about the people. I don't care about the new stuff, I was looking for people I know. I've had my time in the sun, taking castles and killing clans, now I'm older and more relaxed. It's all about the people. :)

All the people worth talking to or spending time with have quit. You won't find the people you are looking for here. I know the type (ones that make you laugh and think outside the box, also didn't mind doing grind groups for hours and pvp parties). Nope, everyone here is a automated player throwing money at ncsoft for virtual coins to be a somebody in a virtual world. Although if that is your type, have at it.
