Also BitDefender isn't a pure AV, if you change AV's get something like ABG, Avast or Kapersky.

AVG, Avast and probably Kapersky all have very good free editions, just not a suite ( no firewall ) but your windows firewall is fine.
Here's the link for AVG's free.avg.com/us-en/homepage.

I install the free version of AVG on all of my customer's CP's when they are looking for a AV, some opt in and buy the suite, not because they have to, because they like it so much they want all the bell's and whistles that come with the full package. Which is exactly why AVG provides such a good free version, in hopes you will want the full version.

I am having this same issue. It just sits on the "Logging In" screen. going to add L2.bin to the safe list on my Norton and see what happens.
EDIT: Added L2.bin, still the same. Log in must be screwy
u can add it from 2 different ways.. if u add it where u add folders.. will not work
u need to find all ur applications and add l2.bin (everything with l2 bla bla ) to accept "everything"
Guys, just give up on Norton already, look what n00dles posted, I was just talking from personal knowledge, this is the company bad mouthing its own software.
