Well, I would like to start playing again. That was my first MMORPG and I really miss that game.
I know that in recent times, the game is lost due to public policies that do not serve the public, but did not come to talk about it.
I would like to know which server to start playing (I have some experience, I played at the beginning of "GOD", but had to stop because of my work); is feasible started playing midget with no support of a clan? The server has a good market to buy and sell things between players?
If you think I should not start with a dwarf, tell me why and to what class I should start instead of that.
obs:. I would not want to play again with wizards. Healer went all the times I played lineage 2.
If your a post GoD player returning, the biggest differences are the drops are super nerfed, and the classes have re diversified, so its like it was pre GoD, there are no longer just 8 classes.
As for the server, your a Euro, so Naia is the most populated, if you were NA or a Euro with odd play hours I'd say Chronos.
The other 3 servers are expected by all to be merged soon, so thats also a possibility. As for class, healers are always in demand and support.
But if you want to play a shorty, play one, I'll let the other shorty's tell you then con's ob that. :D
I am not in Europe, actually I am in the South America, Brazil probably you have thought that because of my edit explanation.
Well, is there any list where I can check the servers GMT?
I just born here, It does not mean that I have the same culture. I know the brazilians reputation and be sure that it does not happened because of people like me.
Well, I would like to start playing with a dwarf. Do I have any chance of success without a clan till I get the 4th class?

Yes, and easily, getting to 85 is super easy, also check the mentor thread of the server you choose, and check the clan recruitment thread as well, its your job to do this homework on clan choice so will leave that to you, you can get into and academy right away and into the clan once you graduate.
Its also much faster leveling up 85-99 compared to when GoD came out, forgot to say that.
But talking about the market: The dwarf keep useful? I remember that a crafter into my old clan told me that with the upgrade the crafters just turned one more fighter. There was a bug or something that gave to the people some coins that they could trade for armory, that ***** the crafters.

Like I said, I'll let the shorty's tell you about how it is playing a shorty, I will say you have to want to be a dwarf to play one. :p
Don't worry, a few will roll in here sooner or later, soon as they look up and see the thread. :p
Spoiling is rather useless, and every big clan has their own crafter, so i dont think you'd make much money doing that.
"here was a bug or something that gave to the people some coins that they could trade for armory, that ***** the crafters."
Im assuming you mean the diploma from mentor/mentee? its just for immortal (R85), crafter is still needed though, as people will need 'R(2)', R95, R99, but as i said, every big clan has a crafter, so dont expect to make much money.
* And its not a bug *
About server, join either Shilen, Bartz or Magmeld, the bolded options would be best.
They are quite dead, but its either playing with a few people, or playing with bots (if you join any of the others).
Spoilers are used only by bots. Crafters sucks because crafting chance is low. Even if it says that the chance is 50 precent. During cards event tried to craft 7 times from requem and immortal to apocalipse and twilight, all failed. Lost 1 billion in adena. In half year only one item was crafted by me with success, this is my apo buster and this was half year ago. In this time u can get all your equipment from drops.
So u need to be a big dwarf fan to start playing their classes.
If you want to lvl fast u need to start a mage, but mages are horribly expensive. Most expensive class in game, if you want to enchant a mage weapon to +5 be ready to have 10 billion or even more.
Also it is easy to lvl with summoners.
If you looking for pvp start a dagger.

That is BS tho, the rate is indeed 60%.
There is a .15% chance to fail 7 in a row, so there you go.

I didnt crafted in a row, all during event. Think NCSoft just hate me. 3 month ago tyed to get my apo buster to +4 lost 3 billion. Same with crafting. Or NCSoft hates all mages at all. Is this racial pejudice?
Mage weapons enchant rate is 33%, fighter weapons is 66%
with bhg and bewr you have an extra 20%, summing it up to 53% which is still low
even with the +7 event shirt you wont be able to OE it without spenting billions and billions.
Just enchant with giants for the +4 bonus, and if you're lucky enough it'll go +5. If not, stick up with +3 and re-do bewr and if it breaks again giant
I wasted 1.5 bil of bewr on my retri, it's still +3.

What im about to say will make you even more mad,
its not +20% base rate, its +20% of the current enchant rate.
So, 0.33*1.2=0.396 = about 40%
Also, the enchant rate for magic weps is 25%, and physical is 50%, and it does get lower after you reach a certain enchant, for fighters is 6+, then its like 33% to get 7+ and above.
For magic, im assuming the same, but around 15% rate after 6+.
Edit: So yes, if you only want it 4+ for the bonus, use a GEWR if its a magic wep!

Say what??? 3 bilions in trying to make apocalypse+4.:eek: I guess you are filthy rich then, because You could've made R99 Retri+4 300 Acu for less than that. Well, at least I did. Both R95 and R99 Retributers to +4 from first try - one with bewr, the other with gewr from +2.
It's true mage weapons are harder to enchant but it's not nearly as impossible as You are trying to make it appear.

Actually, it is possible.
I got a friend who failed 8 BEWR and about 4 or so GEWR trying to make his specter 4+.
This was when bewr was around 160kk each, and GEWR 300kk each.
aka he lost like 2.4b.
Of course it is unlikely, but its not impossible, just remember that there is a 75% chance to fail if you use a bewr.
Its a 1% chance to fail 16 bewrs in a row in a magic weapon, doesnt seem so unlikely now, right?
Think Nova when they played on Chronos had a mage with 16+-20+ weapon. Interesting how much they payed for that.
Arent those the weapons that was removed from game cause of.. *ahum*?
(with dewr its easier tho, so if someone dumped alot of cash into it, 15+ was 'easy' to get)
No, she said 3 bill, but yes some players are highly unlucky, I had a friend that never managed to OE anything, giving something to him to OE was asking for crystals.

Yeah, misread his post (thought he was quoting extremedwarf), was hoping no one would catch that
Managed to enchant all of my weapons, armors etc to 4+ at first attempt, weapon i use went 6+ at first try, guess im quite lucky, send me your stuff and ill enchant for ya! :o
Again as i said, if you're gonna get a magic weapon to 4+, use gewr from 2+, if it fails and gives you 3+, use a bewr and crash it (or hope it turns 4+) and try again, and again!
It has a higher chance to become 4-5+ than 4+ with just bewrs.
I never had any issues OEing, besides my stupid rituals, go to Giran church, cross my fingers and pray, yadda, yadda, James however was extremely unlucky, which I'm sure he will see this post and wander in and ****** about it sooner or later. :o

I hear if you run around Magmeld (aka Arcan) 100 times while shouting, you're guaranteed to succeed!

I haven't said it's impossible, have I? So, your post is quite irrelevent to mine.

Let's talk about feohs a lil bit
It's funny how pre-99 level mages without pvp gears are impossible to pvp same gear wynns, daggers and tyrrs, I even lost in oly from an r grade tyrr cause of so-many celestials and heals they have. Blinks, barriers and such didn't save me at all.
I'm leaving my feoh as soon as ertheia comes, I'll just keep him for epics. Not because of low enchant rates for magical weapons, but for the money needed to maintain him. I'm wasting 20-30kk on bssr on weekly basis, I'll need epics to be close to equal with the dps of yuls and daggers and I'll be needing pvp armor to not be 1 shotted from yuls with disparition.
Also feohs are not getting any adjustments on the following updates, tricksters gets 15% pvp damage and bonus p attack for crossbows, wynns gets new skills, othells will trigger easier their skills with LUC, sigel gets a major boost to everything, dreadnoughts gets a skill that cancel nearly people's buffs, doombr. gets physical and crit damage, every class gets atleast a couple skills with increased power but feohs nothing
It all leads to 1 conclusion; unless you are willing to give billions on your feoh to be as competitive as other classes, make a new class.
I'm sorry your English is failing you, but don't put words in my mouth.
His English didn't fail him, your post should have read "It's true mage weapons are harder to enchant but it's not nearly as hard as you are trying to make it appear."
Should have used the word hard, not the word impossible.

He got you, it is what it is.
 Let me get this straight. You're saying that "as impossible as you are trying to make it appear" means "that's impossible". Obviously not. What I said means that someone else is making something look impossible.
Also changing "impossible" with "hard", doesn't change the meaning of the whole sentence at all.
Yet, another entirely derailed topic...
It's true mage weapons are harder to enchant but it's not nearly as impossible as You are trying to make it appear.

You just changed the phrasing now, the way you're saying it now is correct, which is all I or Znipoo were pointing out to you. Yes, the way you were saying it before lean's toward's impossible to someone that speak's English natively, at best its a shaded meaning, that's all we were telling you. The second way is correct without what came before, but isn't even shading now, but totally saying impossible, which also isn't what you meant. His English didn't fail him, your post should have read "It's true mage weapons are harder to enchant but it's not nearly as hard as you are trying to make it appear."

Get it now ?
Edit: As for derailing the topic, its dead now, if you look the person who started it is done with it, and I was the first one in it actually answering his questions, everything since then has been a de-rail, which I am sure he doesn't mind since he has moved on with his answers.

 Let me get my glasses!... Ok, I don't have glasses but still... Maybe you better go get your glasses, I hope then you'll see that both quotes are exactly the same and I haven't changed anything. This is really ridiculous.

OMG, yes the words are the same, but you cut the first half of the sentence out which totally changes the phrasing from implying impossible to meaning impossible, which I said, and which I said you didn't mean either.
I like discussion, but at some point its just banging your head against the wall, trust me, the way you meant to say it if you weren't trying to imply the other person was saying it was impossible was the way I said it, with the word hard, which anyone who speaks English as their primary language knows as well reading this.
So if you respond on it further, go for it, I'm out, I'll let the next ones hen peck you, English clearly isn't your primary language, or you'd get this right away, never mind that you never would have said it that way, because not only is it a cumbersome and clumsy useage, it just sounds wrong.
To make this even clearer for you the second way you said it without the first half of the sentence, which is: "As impossible as you are trying to make this appear." does indeed mean you are saying the other person means it is impossible. The way you said it in the complete sentence by using the word impossible instead of hard means you are implying the other person is saying its impossible, Which again, I said you didn't mean to say it that way, the other person never said it was impossible, get it ?

It's getting really hard to understand your illogical, incoherent and full of mistakes posts. Don't take it personally, it's just the way you type. Maybe you really have that vast linguistic knowledge you claim. My English knowledge, on the other hand, can get me only this far, so I really don't know if you're right or not. The way I see it is no matter what comes before ".... as" wouldn't change the meaning of an entirely independant phrase whether or not a part of a sentence.
Anyway, that whole dispute that broke out doesn't have anything in common with Znipoo's lack of understanding and your blind jump in defending him.
P.S. I'm sure your next post is going to start with my own grammar and other mistakes due to trying communicate in my second language, which is totally fine.
Nope, not going to say anything, I'm not a grammar ****, I rarely say anything about what anyone types as I am aware its their second language, and I am far from perfect in my own usage of ir and its my primary, I was just saying Znipoo wasn't wrong and had a point, then I tried to explain why that was so to you.
Edit: If it appears I am mad about anything, that would be aimed more at myself for not explaining it better.

Let's say you're right and the meaning of what I wrote is not what I wanted it to mean. Although, I'm not very convinced, I think it takes a university degree in English to detect such subtle differences and be able to properly explain (teach) them to other people.
Even after re-reading my initial post I see Znipoo's entirely out of place post quoting me and trying to explain things to the wrong person. Shall I continue on dissecting his post or there's no fun anymore in this dialogue?
Nah, I'm done with it, I tried to explain it to you, I can't any better then I have. If you had used the word hard instead of impossible, nothing would have been said, really. All I tried to do was explain to you why.
Trust me though, like I said, it wouldn't take a degree in it, the average person wouldn't say it so as it just sounds wrong, feels clumsy. A more advanced person using it so purposely would be trying to imply so without saying it right out. That's as well as I can explain it to you.
I'm not even mad, these things make me hate my class even more day by day.

We got 1 skill Shadow Snare, really helpfull in PVE but for PVP you are right, feohs are weak. I heard that with ertheia we will get some changes and new race is in common a mage race.
I dont know guys, feohs are really good in pvp, both solo and group, no idea what you're talking about :s
Only class i see that can give them trouble is othels, all others, i dont see anyone giving them much trouble.
Feohs are squishy, yes, but they are very strong, and lots of survivability.
Unless of course, you're fighting RMT yuls, tyrrs etc, then that squishy will result in a one hit, but you cant compare RMT vs non-RMT in that way.
Even after re-reading my initial post I see Znipoo's entirely out of place post quoting me
I never meant to insult anyone, so im sorry if you thought that.
That being said, i dont 'regret' quoting you, i was only trying to show you its not so unlikely, and since people are going to read your post, and assume he was exaggerating.
feoh best aoe, best CC(stun, snare, fear, knockback, bindings, awesome snares), some of the best dmg and best range (with archers) and cele which can hit and blinks with 4 sec reuse.
yea feoh is weak. then u wont do a thing with mage ertheia bro
"doombrigner gets p p dmg and crit dmg" which doesnt afect their SKILLS. lmao
