I've decided to restart playing lineage 2 and I'm very undecided between dark avenger and shillien knight I want to ha e a strong pvp char.
I already played dark avenger a bit back in gracia.
If you have some money to spend the best imo is lvl up a human tank (DA if you want the reflect damage) and then use chaoss essence to be a SK.
Human status are better for tank class, and para skills are very nice. Beside cubic mastery allows you to have fairy from aero and knight cubic at the same time, providing you with two sources of auto heal. The cubic from ET are crap...
With proper jewels and dual/Ap skll para can be boosted a lot.
all that shilen templar is right now is, 2 Paralyze skills with pretty good land rate (mass lightning is pretty cool on mass pvp and sieges)
but aside of that is not better than the other tanks. (mb even weaker because have less survivability than the others)
irlumir any tank can have knight cubic and fairy. the cubic mastery is a lie... (i bet any awaken char can have 3 cubics)
and i sincerely think et cubics >> st cubics
btw: on next update all tanks will have a mass debuff similar to mass paralyze from ST but all that skill will need some items to use it (including ST mass para :mad: )
Dingel i was shk and fairy replace knight cub. Also as sk if you have 3 cubic and recive fairy it will replace a cubic.
Also try et. When i return i have 3 free chaos ess
So i try thouse chars. 9x char. The cubic from et where useless. The damage recieve was almost the same. Sure dark elf.is the worst race for tank thats why i say that human with some improvement on con is the best. And para skills bet other specially if you boost land rate.
Anyway to me human race and any elf diversification is nice.
The fairy try summon knight cubic and only one.of the other.and ask.healer cast fairy. Fairy will add a third cubicthat look the same as knight cubic ( it will see that you have 2 kc). After the minute duration of fairy it will disaper.
If you have the 3 cubics on fairy will replace knight cubic and after minute duration you will end with 2 cubic cause the kx waa replace
Try it like i say and see the diference. I bet few have notice this.

He is wrong. He has not realize that all char without cubic mastery can only have one cubic. Da and phoenix can only have one cubic. When fairy is cast on them it replace knight cubic ( fairy use one cubic slot) The **** look the same so most do not realize but after fairy duration the cubic is gone. I always cast just one debuff cubic and knight and when healer cast fairy on me i look loke i have two knight cubic plus the other cubic.
Just tell your healer to make a macro to announce the use of Fairy of Life in party chat:
#Fairy of life on %target !
That way you can see they are casting it on you, and just resummon knight cubic after, having the effect of both. Knight cubic is a very fast cast and shouldnt interrupt what you are doing very much. And Fairy of Life lasts a minute.

Yes cubic mastery is just for looks, it actually exists on every char. Wynns can have 3 cubics. mass from non-awakened, smart/avenging + fairy and they dont have cubic mastery.
I always summon 2 cubics with my SK, knight + other depending on situation, so i can get always fairy of life. So yes u can have fairy + knight at same time.

SK has never been about survivability, they are the best offensive tank, even so in this day and age with competent healers and potting your not taking a tank down so that issue goes out the door, a tank is generally last priority target in PvP anyways.

I found the skills you are talking about. It seems the only the new skills will cost an item.
Da gets a mass knock down skill, Et get a mass freezing strike skill and Ph get a mass target change skill
