I have a Healer and in dualclass summoner, and i thinking to buying a tw robe set, and cant decide what type to choice, magic or reco.
help me.
For healer will be pt healing, and for summoner will be exping.

if this is a bad combination, feoh and summoner better?

Magic type is ok even while healing.

Magefan, you asked this same question years ago, the answer is still the same today as it was then. You're not going to be PvPing until 99 pretty much, and at that point you will be using crystals. Until you get to 99 do as little as you can to get by so you save as much as you can for your 99 set up.

When you asked this years ago, it was much easier collecting stones, and harder getting crystals. If you're smart about it and do your dailies and get the rewards and save them, crystals aren't as hard to come by anymore, stones are harder, but with the mentor rewards, actually easier.

For now, put a focus on dark and fire, rainbow the rest and get by doing as little as you can, you should always be in a group as much as possible, so you don't need the very best set up for PvE.

Edit: Although when you asked me this years ago, you were the same class as me, StS, the concept is still the same for a healer, why did you switch out from StS btw ?

You got me :D i don't know which class i want to play, all class have good and bad thinks.
In past i was love sts so much.
For example, i love running, and i'm really good in aoe, before god update, mostly i was aoeing in primeval isle, 50 or more dino was try to kill me, so many adrenaline :D ah man, but now only healer have those strong adrenaline so far :(, anyway i wasnt change my first main char class, i make a new account for healer, and for iss to, and next will be wh account, to many item i collected :) need to store somewhere else :), oh and i wasnt stop liking my feoh, just i bored it, its just a simple dd right now, just need to press 3 skill and that it.

Its really nice for you for telling me what is the default weap for summoner, look right now i have a bound immo robe set 1 clean req retributer and thrower "event", 1 req and apo caster with 150 wind and acumen, 1 tw robe set with magic type, and a set tw jewels, and have almost 300m, and in my staff keeper have a +3 icarus hall with 300 wind a 3x60 +3 moirai robe set, and some more low armor, if you guarantee apo retri is the best choice for my de summoner i will buy it.

U need a magic weapon for sumonner. I have Feoh on main and on dual summoner. And i use same armor and weapon on both. Robe set + sigil + magic sword. The spell cast is so much better so u can fast cast healing spells for summons and debuff skills. This helps in PvP not only in PvE.
And if we speak about a bow it is useless if it is not enchanted minimum to +10. If you have such one just keep it as a second option on hot bar. But first is a magic weapon for casting speed.

Retributer gives your summons p.atk bonus, it's for that reason (rather than fast casting) that many Wynns use the retributer.

The main reason for retributer is for the mark retriever in pvp. No wynn with elemented armor should need the cast speed to keep their pets alive.

If you have any weapon with 300 element you can use that.

Unless you are gonna run around before 97 pvping a ton, dont bother putting SA on the retributer.

You dont need acumen, and noone needs empower, its as useless damage up.

Dual SA is only for pvp damage. And since the only dual SA you could put is Empower (the third one is too useless even compared to Empower and Damage Up), Empo+Acumen are the mandatory choice for a retributer.

Now, if magefan wants to pvp before reaching 99, he knows what to do. :p

And by the way, I have dual SA on an Apocalypse Buster. Everyone can debate the usefulness of it, but for me it works wonders both in pve and pvp...

Buster is not a retributer on a summoner.

It is a waste of adena to put empower on a retributer unless you are pvping, which I hope he isnt wasting his time with wearing apo and twilight.

And you cant seriously mean that Empower SA is working wonders for you in pve and pvp, it adds a ridiculously low amount of matk, you wouldnt be able to tell the difference even if you looked for it.

Mana Up+Acumen works wonders. Empower+Acumen works "wonders" in PvP.

I said to magefan that Acumen is the only useful SA on a retributer. And that Empower+Acumen is the only acceptable dual SA option.

The quotation marks on "wonders" are added exactly because the only usefulness of Empower dual SA on retributer is for the added pvp damage, since it adds absolutely nothing in terms of m.atk, while Mana Up+Acumen on a buster are both good SAs in my opinion.

Sell it. You want cash, not a dual SA right now.

They need to add a one handed mage wep with health and acumen and mana up to pick as SAs.

Silly devs, why cant they just give each weapon 3 good SAs to pick from?
