Merging servers will not reduce the bot population, in fact you'd be combining two servers or more whichever the case all into one.
And no a new server will not get rid of bots before you start in on that crap. No matter how many topics created about this it will not make it happen. Also creating polls about it will not make it happen either.
Weird thread, i mean, who want to merge servers for killing bots, if nc merge servers, it not solve any bot problem at all, it will go worst then before.

Where i said merge will get rid of bots lol . Only want merge so those who play by hands will have more ppl for partys, not when checking party matching only what i see is money trader sites and crap. How you get to the idea merge will lead to bot reduce hahaha , what i said is w/o bots numbers in servers is lower ....

But you should know, they will never put togheder 2 empty servers like Magmelt and Bartz, the risk of fail is too big...i belive they will merge those servers with Chronos and Naia, mby in a combination like this:
1.Chonos -heavy +Magmelt-light >>>GMT-2
2.Naia - heavy + Bartz-light >>>GMT+1
3.Shilen-normal GMT+0 will stay as it is.
4.And prob they will open a brand new one GMT-3.
If you increase server population by merging and so on u will get a full bunch of bots there too in 1-2 months. U will get same **** we have now on Chronos and Naia most populated servers and most botted servers with destroyed economics.
And with bots u will get reduced drops and other barbaric methods to fight them from NCWest.
Do you really want this?
P.S. Chronos and Naia are overpopulated, they wont hold any merges more.
Only 1 thing can stop bot and adena seller, to restrict combined words in chat and in title in private store form, like number + $ signal, or website words, www dot word dot com etc.
Uh? Actually NC does block key words, the adena seller bots keep trying new creative wording combinations in order to keep spamming their websites.

I dunno, if you combined Bartz, Shilien and Magmeld you would have the bot protectors duking it out over the spots, so in a sense you would get rid of 2/3 of the bots. Doesn't matter, we all know a merge is coming, they just won't do it until after Erthia so they can see how the population fluctuates with that update.

Actually they would merge Bartz/Shilien/Magmeld, their most successful server merge was when they created Phoenix, which was a bunch of dead servers merged into one and was the most populated server afterwards.

You mean Martel is a better programmer than NC. That's what you really mean.
If you are thinking your good then think agian, there will always be a better one. If you wanna be the best you got to take out the best. :rolleyes: I appreciate the effort that NC makes vs Martel and others of his kind, though. ;)
