I've got one client in that didn't disconnect, two disconnected and won't log back in. From server select screen, it just hangs for an age. Something weird is going on.
I've got my clients back in finally, but Naia is totally unplayable with constant huge lag spikes.
I tested my connection to Dallas servers with speedtest and pingtest repeatedly and the connection to Dallas is fine. The login is slow, naia unplayable and even the website is very slow.
Huge lag spikes and freezes from time to time, some 3-4sec delay, random discconects.
If you do log out, it's an age to come back from log in panel. Weirdly enough, all servers status shown as "light", even on prime time (at least here).
@Vali and/or @Juji, I dunno what happened during this maint breaktime, but surely something broke in the proccess - game its UNPLAYABLE atm (at least for non-botters players, ofc).

It has nothing to do with the update. The problems started on monday for some users and got worst on tuesday. (at least on Magmeld server)

@NCSoft: Any word on this issue? Considering we have to BUY vita pots to enjoy this event, this lag can make us waste some ncoins... Are we going to be refunded on someway for this issues?
Need a NEW upgrade for severs ??? Or is the lag going to END ... Bc this is the 2nd day that things like this have happened and it is soo screwed up to try an lvl or do Raids ...
This is not hardware/server issue. This is connection network issue. As the Draecke said it appeard to be a DDoS attack.
yeah.. immense lags like 20 sec delays. friend list d/c on and off. ncsoft will just tell us this is our ISPs problem? heh
and it was also like this last night. around the same time.. probably the influx of bots. seems to be more than usual around.. shut them down please.. we need a mass BAN HAMMER. thx nc-staff!
All servers FAIL atm... Tried them all.. And all are unplayable... Not to say that our NC west staff/ team are bad at their jobs But they need to get stuff worked out faster for the players that have stuck it out with all the BS that has Happened over the years.. Com'on guys and gals... We love the game but your players would like to have More input from you.. More involvement from our NC west Team... Hell maybe a Hi from you guys on a day to day rather then treating us like we are just players... I mean if not for us you would not have a paycheck...So please Guys and Gals of NC West step and show us all how much you carry about the game and the player.. And try to fix the servers and let us Players Know what is going on if you are working on.. or if you just have no clue and you are getting help.. Heck something is better then nothing at all
If everyone were DCing and lagging, i would blame NCsoft, but im not having any lags at all, so its probably some major ISP having problems, and you're just unlucky to have a bad 'route', or something like that.
I was told it is only affecting people in USA not Euros south america etc and that is not priority for ncsoft atm since many players are Euro etc so we usa players out of luck and must wait til whenever the problem fixes it self.:)

Mmmmmmmm love it, love lag as a new feature. Before L2 i was in a constant struggle finding ways to satisfy my masochistic cravings. I am happy and contented here.

Like Znipo say, most of ppl who get constant lag/dc is of S/N amerika. maybe is some internal net servers problem like was brasilian problem before some time. Is global and i hope they will set soon, NC od players not may fix noting individual, this is big companies problem :)
It's an unacceptable level of lag for those affected. I've endured 2 second lags in the past but this is 10+ seconds and watching people around you move regular, but you're frozen and then 1 person dc's, then 2 more, then you. There was a half hour of it at 4pm my time and now for 4 hours on and off right in my prime time. So I watched some TV but TV is boring, I prefer L2. I'll go to bed but this better get resolved! I'm in NC West's time zone.
NC Soft being a cheap and using live server machine to run Etheria test server.
Maybe a stupid GM making a massive AOE train to have fun in test environment :p
Don't know were you came up with the lag, works fine for me. Though I had probems with the network supplier. But when it was solved, the gaming was back to normal as it was. (suggest using alt>p in towns, I know that most of you know it but maybe some of you don't. cheers). ;)

I tried to play the game at two different intervals last night and it was lag, lag, lag, move a few steps, lag, lag, lag, disconnect both times. I haven't tried to log on ("lag on?") this morning yet, but hopefully whatever caused the issue last night has been resolved. Otherwise we just might have to move to Lithuania. :D

Well, imagine if you and everyone with the issue is connecting to the same ISP, which is having issues.
Then you can say its the ISPs fault, and not the server, and it doesnt necessarily mean your ISP.

My speculation is that the problem must be closer to the servers rather than us.
