question about tyrr dread

Hallo all
I have made a warlord, just for the fun of it. But actually I am very much playing it. So I am thinking about making it my main.

But I have some questions about the class. I know that interesting part for the class is after 85 and pvp only gets fun at 99
But
1. It is possible to get a party with a tyrr dread after lvl 85?? ATM. I am not In a clan or a cp.

2. How gear dependent are the tyrr dread class??

3. How does the tyrr dread do in pvp (survivability, capabilities to do damage or it the role debuff \ stunner) and is it fun to pvp with??

I could also use the pointers on where to lvl from 68 and up. I can only find aoe places with archers or other ranged classes mixed with the mobs.

Thanks for your helping and any other advice about the class is welcome
Party for a dread isn't that hard after 85, but it is also a great solo class if you have your own iss as well.

If you're speaking about PvP gear dependence every class is. If you are speaking of PvE not quite as much but still require a little better than average gear, especially if you are the tank as well. In PvE because of your class you are going to require 2 weapons though, a Pole and the Single target weapon. Please do not be that Tyrr warrior that Shows up to an AOE party with just a 2 handed sword, Pole first as this games xp is now based on AOE.

The stuns on the Dreadnought cannot be matched on the battlefield. If you have good stun jewels on you can stun even most stacked people. Mass PvP is where you shine, It isn't uncommon for people to see me jumping or rushing from one group of people to the other just doing stuns on the battlefield, disabling 10-20 people at a time for roughly 9 seconds.
Debuffing is good, they have a 45% (IIRC) CP reduction skill that work fairly well, Mass Stuns, Mass Pdef Reduction and Mass Pole Resistance Reduction(not as useful), as well as Mass Knockdown and Mass Disarm.
Survivability is mostly based on gear and party makup in pvp. Now days it is almost a requirement to have 2 healers in party for PvP, but with high level archer, daggers and nukers surviving is still hard.

If you like playing it play it, I love the class, especially when you get higher levels and have the ability to solo aoe in areas ment for parties, ie. lower GF, Darkness Room, SH3, or HF.

Its a hell of a lot of fun.
My dual class is a dreadnought, gear dependency like any class is dependent on your individual expectations on what you want to do, the dn is extremely well suited for pve and can be a beast in mass PvP also. It lacks some survivability that the duelist and the doombringer has but makes up with it by disabling it's opponents. It's an extremely satisfying class to play, for pve I use elegia light set (I'm 98 on dual) and for PvP an oe seraph set. The maxing 500 Crit rate and running bear was I portent for pve, stack that with Crit damage rings and u do insane dps and volt of the damage back in fact even using s80 light I have a hard time dropping to zerk.

I have tyrr dread as dual too but I know just the class and i have to learn how to use it.
How can I improve critical rate up to 500 ? which ring you speak for crit damage ?
Which pendants and dyes should I use ?
Thanks
The elegia light set adds 171 crit rate, you prolly need to get a +50 crit rate hat as well and that should put your right at 500.
AQ ring/Oly ring/Baium/AQ Soul/Baium Soul are your 5 cheap crit rate rings, Tauti/Octivas/Earth Wyrm are you expensive ones. Each add 15% critical damage except either tauti or Wyrm ring if memory serves one of those 2 add 20%.
Pendants +50 crit rate if your not at 500 crit rate without it or a +5% Pattack or +3 STR.

Dyes is another story all together, if you are going to PvP and lack Epic gear is suggest +Con, If you are in 100% PvE mode and plan to never PvP or if you have Super Epic gear like +8 Dark armor then I suggest STR. Con adds survivability by adding about 10k+ HP/CP, if you lack great gear your going to need the HP. STR will make you hit harder and I think crit damage as well, but not 100% sure on that one. All in all its really up to you what you want. Thats just my 2 cents.

With my elegia light set and +4 R99 Pole I am able to pull lower EG 20-30 mobs at a time, without anything but an iss, and kill them without an issue because you can perma stun pretty much anything. Going to HB I don't suggest Elegia set though, they hit a little to hard when you pull 15-20. ;)
Thanks for the answers.

I don't have a elegia set, so maxing out crit will be a bit harder.

It sounds like you guys are having a lot of fun with the class, but it is hard to make up my mind. I will definitely keep working on the toon.

Where did you lvl at 68 and up?? I am having a hard time finding a good spot. Swamps of screams are ok, but not a good place to gain exp.

I have a iss I can use as buffer and healer
I think at that level with that support you might be able to go to the easier spots in Forge of The Gods but I don't know if you are high enough for that. If you arn't go do Pavel Ruins for a level or 2, Pull everything you see in the pit and pull it to a rock.
68 is too low for FoG, I tried and had to return there at 70 because I was receiving too much damage from ONE small room (not to mention the fact the mobs resist ALL of your stuns, including Critical Stun SA).
Hm. Pave ruins. I had completely forgot about that place. I think I will try there. What about the other place at pave ruins (arachnid laboratory) is that any good??

I would also guess that fog will be to hard. But I will try at lvl 70 there.

I might try fog with knight's harmony just for the fun off it.
I have also some Q about dread ;)

First of all what kind of armour option should i use on 95 seraph ( def or attack)?

And i was wondering is it viable to use +10 vesper pole with 300 ele/ sa health/ pvp option in pvp? Or can i stick only with 300 ele r95 +4?

And where i can start soloing with boxed iss at lvl 95?
