What happen with normal play of this game, why you not jsut open ticket in ncshop "buy instant lvl up 99 for 2000 coins" and all will be ok, this is stupid

"1->96 in 18h of botting" while the real player was sleeping, drinking, playing another game, etc.
Its impossible to hit 96 in that time if u just left your char hitting on his own lol. There wouldnt be any bots in the lower spots if that was the case. I believe they did it with all xp boosts there is and apparition stones.

Using every XP boost possible, playing ( or botting ) non stop ( yes, it seems to efficient to be straight up botting, so lets say stop and go, stop to actually move to the next optimal location ) and yeah, its actually very possible.
minor detail but as pointed out in other topics right after the update none of the bot progs were working so those 98 chars were done by hand.. ofc any done next week will be from bot but that's besides the point of this topic..
having top gear and knowing how this game works delivers faster results then automated game play, bot is just the cheaper and longer way.

Other services were still up and running though I am sure. And yes, those other services do depend on game knowledge and being well geared, but not you actually being there, they also require $$$$ though. :p
Given buying a 7 day 200% XP rune,vit maint. potions and whatever boosts you can milk out, there still had to of been a hand int he bot cookie jar. Within 24 hours of the patch if there was any Ertheia that was 95+ already I'd really bet on that being botted.
No just bots, party bots in raid. I was there walking around and this guy says get out we are going to do this raid, get of or we kill you and all your clan. Have a Ertheia +85 party but no-one moving, when they start i just lure the raid away and only 1 player follow us, the others just lay there waiting for something (full bot), kinda stupid dude call a summoner lvl 99 to kill me but I just walk away.
That explains how to lvl Ertheia faster than just bot farming.
All possible exp runes (100% + 200% + 50%), vitality maintaining & erupting vitality, 1-85 would be a couple hours if you include academy circlet +10% and mentor +50%), 85-90 would be a piece of cake as you would get billions of exp for the k85 and you get to do it twice with the new quest series, then farm fairies with anakim aoe and 93-99 would be as fast as you do a single spiq (for some reason forum blocks the correct name), k90x2, k95x2 when you reach 95 and loc aoe with a good party. When I was 96 on my feoh i remember taking 10%/h from loc with a quite good party, can't imagine how much you would get with all runes & 400% vitality we had. Also we had nevit a couple days ago
it's always been possible to level crazy fast if you had an established presence in the game (ie items, characters to burn off etc). Back in the day when the level cap was 80 and people took 6 months to do 79->80we used to burst out 3-4 fresh lvl 80s every week with 0 botting, back then the thing was having destros and full epics and control of the 2 good spots to pole in. Even when Kamael launched we had Kamael heroes within 3 weeks of the launch.
Now there's an extra shortcut if you can drop a few hundred in the cash store. So I am not quite sure what you find so surprising? That somebody would burn off 2 or 3 of their days playing L2? Well at least they are better than the army of botted up Ertheias that will hit you in a month or so.
Stupid to spend all that money to get 99 fast. Whats the diffrnce I will make 99 in 1 month with out spending money its a lot better then being 99 in a week and haveing to pay a lot for it.. Noone will care who was first in a few weeks when there are lots of high lvls.

U seriously are in the mist on how bots do things are you ?
They bot up a character to 85, afterwards they do bot reserved raids with it
u can reach lvl 99 in less then 18 hours.
Those specific raids are being Reserved for specific clans, if the GM's took the care to monitor raids, they would actually catch a lot more bots then just the few they banned in this update.
The problem is that u ban one bot the next day they simply make a new account.
Accounts should have never been for free totally...
All other free to play games u still have to pay a fee of like one time 10 - 60 dollar, it avoids bots to be able to just pop like mushrooms all over the place.

What all of you are missing, that I already said, getting to 99 as fast as they did is to efficient for botting.
There are two ways they did it, an already established presence with use of the cash shop as someone already said, or their are "services" where your toon is still played, just not by you, and it amounts to the same thing, you just have to be willing spend a hell of a lot for it, and trust your account info with those people that provide such "services".
I don't know where the hell you got that bolded part from, played many F2P for the hell of it, I never spent a dime to get an account. The way to stop bots is by monitoring it, it really isn't all that hard if they want to. Do you really think a one time purchase will discourage bots ? We had bots when this game was P2P.
