10 years into this game.. on and off and I still wonder why I play it..
1) Siege started 2h late, because someone at NC mixed up siege times.
2) It was a 3rd party test.. from the usual suspects like Nova, etc.. to the other random clans.. from loads of dark gear to getting insta-assisted as soon as I targetted any of them
3)PVP is dying in this game.. only bots fight bots now.. and when they get bored.. what will happen?
NC will most likely close their doors, because they refused to take action.
This isn't a QQ post.. I have decent PVP vs normal people.. but I think I just visited my last DS.
NC won't be shutting down when they cut L2 in NCwest, they have other games, L1 has always been by far their biggest money maker, L2 never came close to it.
I have to agree with you Bubbles.. but the OP might also have a point.. Closing doors might be too much.. but maybe some will get sacked, because income will be less and less..
I hate to break it to you guys but radar apps have existed since C4 (in very crude form) and C5 in pretty developed form . Except back then they were Teon exclusive, clan A had their radar, clan B had theirs and everybody said it was dumb. When those things broke out into the wild in Interlude across all servers (cause Boris and Ivan wanted to make some cash) *everybody* said Spam should quit doing server shouts about banning random noshot parties in Catacombs and figure out a way to block radars. Cause they'd kill the game. And they 've been killing the game ever since. There's nothing "new" that will make NCWest close its doors, disgruntled people will quit and fresh meatshields will get drawn in. But posts like this have been appearing for the last what? 7 years? That's when this mess went outside Teon and infested all NCNA ... but guess what? The game (and NCNA/NCWest) have survived, and something tells me they will keep surviving, after all the old adage holds true ... an idiot is born every minute.
I remember in Teon most of the people there using bots in c2 so this is nothing new. Most of the Catacombs were cantroled by bots and 2 bot clans farmed all Raid boss for RMT.
RMT and bots have been part of the game since it started 10 years now.
comparing pve bots with completely automated PVP..
i dont really think any1 enjoys pve :p, tho i do believe majority enjoys PvP which i find hard to understand how one can enjoy it when theres a few things
A) ur not free to target but follow 1 guy whos clan MA
B) u auto target anything that has no noble/just accepted res
C) u never manage to make a error by hitting some1 on celestial etc
i mean why not just plant 7 toons on parnasus 7 on hellfire 7 on hellbound 7 in gainak 7 in loc
go to bed and come back next morning look how much ++ pvp u got cus its exactly the same only diff is your not watching the screen but its not like u have to watch the screen..
okay u might have 2/3 buttons to target to use skills to do w/e these things can easily be automated also and u can go afk problem solved

most people press tops 2/3 buttons and dont even have to use their mouse its all for the show
