hmz ncsoft they don`t care about the players and they show to us every time and more this... they care only about our money so no point to discuss anymore. L2 almost dead... For them left only 15k players in all servers... And after this kind of things people they leaving...Some h5 private servers are better than ncfail and this is really shame...

Ncsoft and Lineage 2 is not alone. The "hacking" group Lizard Squad (aka DERP) is randomly making DDOS attack on any servers, websites and games that they can, while bragging about it on twitter. This have been happening to wow, gw2, aion, wildstar, eve online, lol, etc etc. They will likely continue until they get caught.
Guys this is not NCwest issue ... This is connection problem between continents aka "Atlacntic cable"

yesterday though one clannie managed to stay in game with one character while all of mine and his others were disconnected and denied access.
this is an attack... who on nobody knows for certain.
it is hurting all NCsoft games...
i sort of gave up on playing.

The actual thing that is funny here is the fact that if its actually them, or some small group of disgruntled gamers, they may think they are having fun and making a "statement", but in all likely hood they will face charges over this. :p
DDoS used as a true social statement in my view is needed and understandable, this is just a case of juvenile antics. They are not Anon, with a huge base membership to use to filter, redirect, hide and cover their @ss, and even a few Anon get caught and charged here and there with all that.
who cares? NCsoft just needs to either extend or refund the people's exp runes that are ticking during the duration of not being able to play the game.

I'm assuming they are waiting for this to be done before compensation is handed out. A couple weeks of tersi again would be nice.

But how long will this go on for? Other companies are investing int he hardware/services to combat this. Which means their games will either be playable while NCsoft ones are getting knocked around like chumps, or they will at least be able to deal with this the next time some wiseass with a botnet decides to be cute again.
If this group is decent enough to evade capture for awhile and still maintain the attack, we could be looking at weeks+ of intermittent connection problems if NC doesn't do something. And by that time I think a good number of players will have simply moved on.

I m pretty sure there has to be a way to stop it, couse i m not feeling happy bout spending money in a game that could go offline every time some lunatics want.
was thinking to buy sp rune today but i ll wait a few days and see what happnes before buying.
