they are alot and it's like **** in server i think all people must do some thing as like this no bots lats kill them and make big part channel for it :P
Well, bots made me rage quit today. After the servers went up I went to fairy settlement for dailies and a bit of grind. After finding a spot, 10 min later a party of 5 appeared next to me and promptly started killing every mob in sight. Same clan, similar nicknames, nitrosa or smth like that, I attacked 1 of the at which point I got jumped by the entire party and a bot protector parked nearby.
All I can say is this, thank god archeage is coming out tomorrow, and after today I no longer feel regret for leaving.

Open Beta starts tomorrow (4th) and goes until September 8th. After that the servers are wiped and Headstart begins on September 12th, official launch is on the 16th.
Sorry for maybe silly question, but would it be stupid if NCshop had adena for sale? Bot population would drop down, we would see them only for exp or to level up, plus for NC would be profitable as well.
not saying you can't make adena through the l2 shop.
you certainly can make billions by buying l2 store items and reselling.
but selling adena right out is just ridiculous.
as for bot killing...
even bots are having trouble fighting bots these days.
there is a group of bot killer bots on chronos in MoS.

yes, it would be stupid.Why? Whats the diffrence RMTers or NCsoft? Already they sell stupid items. If NCshop had for sale adena than people would buy from them and bot trains would die as it wouldn't profitable for them.

but that is mainly moving adena around within the game.
if they started selling adena outright they would be devaluing it.
to a point where you would need a billion adena just to buy shots.
Not arguing for or against this as there are arguments to be made either way. But inflation can be managed. The adena the bots flood the servers with is essentially "free" anyways. They don't contribute large amounts of effort to the economy, and in many cases right now they are outright blocking many people from making adena in certain areas themselves.
Ncsoft is also seemingly determined to destroy almost all adena available in game by eroding almost any capability to make it that doesn't involve the shop or already having a fairly large bundle of adena to start with.
So at this point, I don't think outright selling adena in the store would change anything. The only real issue is what they price it at. Looking at the hero coin they would likely set adena at such a high price that only a handful of people would buy it here and there... everyone else would just continue buying it from the RMT groups due to a substantially higher return on investment.
You can already by adena from the ncstore. Many of the items now can be sold in game for adena. To be honest it's an ok way of letting players get more ingame currency without breaking the economy by flooding out with new currency.
Take this event as an example. I know a ton of people bought carrots and made ingame money completely legitimately.

Sad really. I'm predicting that currency will be switched to some item or commodity instead of the adena itself (much like GW used Ectoplasms as a means of high-end gear trade since there is a hrd cap to how much gold could be carried on person).
