Server Maintenance, September 10th, 2014

All game servers will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, September 10th, 2014, at 5am PDT / 7am CDT / 8am EDT / 12pm UTC/GMT (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Lineage+II+Weekly+Maintenance&iso=20140910T05&p1=137) and will end at 9am PDT / 11am CDT / 12pm EDT / 4pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 4 hours.

Additionally from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM Central, store pages and purchases will be unavailable.

With this maintenance:


The Hungry Horse event (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/the-hungry-horse-event.php) continues until September 17th.

The Galup NPC remains in-game. Carrots no longer drop from monsters.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed an issue where Hidden Skill icons would not display properly.
Fixed a texture issue in the Kamaloka instance.

Revelation skill strengthening effect has been added to effects of ‘Noble Knight Buffs’, ‘Noble Warrior Buffs’, and ‘Noble Wizard Buffs’.

The Lv. 2 Revelation skill will be used when trying to use the Lv. 1 Revelation Skill if an ability effect has been acquired.
The following are the Lv. 2 Revelation skill effects.

Hidden skill activation functions have been added to the ‘Noble Guidance’, ‘Noble Eagle Eye’, and ‘Noble Vision’ ability effects.

The Hidden Skills are acquired depending on the class type, and the following are the skill effects.
Ertheia Eviscerator will receive the Tyrr Warrior hidden skill Blockade.
Ertheia Sayha’s Seer will receive the Feoh Wizard hidden skill Brilliant Magic.

The Golden Crate, Silver Crate, Ancient Hero's Weapon Pack, and Rice Cake Pack will be removed from the store tomorrow.
Standard server maintenance will be performed.

I love the way you post server maintenance notes right before you go home for the day. Yet the server's go down ever night and you don't ever address that crap.

Are you guys ever going to fix Chronos from crashing constantly at 22:30 GMT -3???

Everyday the server crashes and goes down, we did lindvior be down at 45% hp and server went down

Will you ever perform a real maintenance?

server are lag unplayable losing runes cuz frends and i can stand on good connection.

any thought ?

After upgrading to ertheia the legendary tales quest got some kind of bug. the boss Muscle Bomber is not showing up. my clan at a party spent 35 (Large Dragon Bone) and because of this Boss not completed the quest. please check this problem.

this one was rare all time... as i remeber we got it one time from seventynine tries...

Are the large dragon bone dropping after the update? They've dried up on Chronos, and if Muscle Bomber spawn is this bad (friend spent 55 bones, no bomber) then Legendary Tales is dead.

I've completed the quest 3-4 times before Ertheia and it usually took about 20 RB for all 7, and once it took 8 tries.

Are the large dragon bone dropping after the update? They've dried up on Chronos, and if Muscle Bomber spawn is this bad (friend spent 55 bones, no bomber) then Legendary Tales is dead.

the dragon bones drop it's just an insanely small chance, I 'd say similar to getting a full item drop

unbind, disparition and shadow hide still not working properly versus some debbufs.. GJ, have a great week you too!

Really, really good job on improving the server stability.

Chronos down nearly every day 1 time. Nice Server stability *thunbs up*.
I played alot of MMORPG's now but i can say L2 is by far the worst of all, no Server stability, thousands of bots, no live gm's, pretty bad Support at all if it comes to key questions. Wow even Facebook games are better alrdy it seems.

If i wouldnt have friends here.....

I feel exactly the same way after 4 days of dealing with NCSoft over lag issues. We have all come to the conclusion that nothing more can be done at either end therefore no solution. I hate the fact that I'm being driven out of a game I love to play with my friends.
PS. Chronos server is already heavy with more immigrants coming in all the time. Maybe we should have some kind of border control and evict those who shouldn't be here in the first place...

They did that before...no new accounts and no transfers... That caused such an uproar. Seriously, you can't make anyone happy :-)

Seems like it's every night I play...I notice a 2-3 second delay for a while...then that moment when the world stops.....then the little magic "you have been disconnected" box. I will say though, when I play in the morning before work (430am est), I have 0 lag and 0 disconnects....it's mainly after 5-6pm est when I notice it almost regularly.

I feel your pain. I just went through a week of back-and-forth emails between NCsoft and my ISP because I disconnect so often. After doing a traceroute we narrowed it down to TeliaSonera's network but neither of them will take the responsibility and contact them claiming it's out of their hands. :mad:
