I dont think that there is much on players hands because the drop rate of the fragment is very very low.
Valakas Weapon Fragment x1 (very low chance/around 1%)
I'm not sure how much you can practically get for this weapon since anyone by themselves will never level it to even 1 and OEd dark/bloody r99 will be better in all circumstances and it's only used by one class. GL though, nice weapon.
you could use it as an enchanter.
you could use it as many classes to level 1-85.
you could probably use it as a summoner, but it'd be less effective than blunt equivelent.

needs mats gems GE for be lvl1 and unlock skills (maybe around 60b if try hard - im sure some ppl have this for make an awesomo weap).

fragment is the first stage, to get to stage 2 you will need 50 dragon claws, 100 Elcyum, 300 GE, 7000 GemR and bucketload (1560) each of lvl 4 mats. It's not doable for a single player .. we 're talking 50 amaranthine crafts worth of mats.

It's a good weapon, but it costs way more, than let's say +10 dark slasher, just to upgrade it to level 1, if you can get the level 5 mats at all and the dragon claws, gems, ge and w/e else or needs.
The higher stages need even more and more mats, nearly impossible to get.
And the most important is that it cannot be used in oly or CoC, which is the biggest hold off, for those who can afford it.
I was offered anthy duals fragment some time ago for 14bil.I guess at the current economy state, it may sell for 10b or so, depending on the server.
Fragment itself isnt worthy anything. There will be tons of fragments and god knows when someone will upgrade lvl 1 :)
Its basicly depends on NCwest will. If NCwest decide to implement massive income of those mats. ... Welllll maybe then you can ask some price for it.
But now its absolutely useless. There was event all pplz were runing with those fragments and only lvl1 valakas wep. was nearly same as +7 +12 pvp weapon.

100 elcium for lv1 (top grade upgrade ofc impossible at this time) is not that hard,me have around 20 alone just by balthus etc-the main problem is the lvl5 mats as stated above, requiring like all server`s mats:) A good clan like us,maybe can collect 1/5 just by members donations..before selling it for 10b, i ll buy it myself:):)If u are saying that there are alot fragments around, its strange that in my last 15 dragons we had 1 drop only- and u know dragons is not a daily...

10-20b max because the stuff to make it level 1 would be 100-200b. No one has a level 1 weapon on any server afaik.
200b is not much if u farm uncontested dragons/raids like they do in other servers,if nova and alike still dont have a lv2 or 3 dragon weap yet,they do something wrong in game or pay off rl bills with the resources that are farmed.Simple. Dont have to remind u that our channels got like 250b last couple weeks with not even 1/3 of the good raids...
Not only a few ppl carrying (however they managed anyway) 200-300b self. But they cant lay hands on a nice dragon weap fragment with their income methods,so why shud it be worth 10b just because upgrading is less than 1 week of uncontested raiding and teamwork. An immense upgrade cost does not make un unique item worth alot less, so i dont get this reason.But however 10b or 20b is nothing for this weap.What i think.
I've been begging to buy this weapon from Festo, but despite my begging and knowing this'll prob ** me.. I got to say it.
The fragment should be worth around 100bil++ easily. Problem is everyone is too fken poor to afford such. However, if you get it to level 1 it is basically a perma improved hero weapon. If this game lasts for another 5+ years that is quite the weapon to have in your possession.
In the video above you see in Korea it is allowed in olympiad+CoC too.
Lv2 drag wep makes you immune to debuffs for 2mins.

Apex ally really got the best drop on any l2 NA server atm and they should get serious offers for this weapon.
Also, imo, it isn't a weapon for a clan to share or an ally. The thing is worth way too much to be passed around, especially when it hits lv 1. It'd be worth like $10,000 worth of adena or even more once it got upgraded.
If you're rich, you should just roll a tyrr, buy the wep, and work on getting all the **** for it to be the biggest badass on the server. It's the only 1 in l2 NA, what else can u say that about?

In my opinion the Dragon Fragments are useless untill you succesfully gathered the first 50 Dragon Claws. I think you can gather like 5 average per month. Only if you manage to port in at every dragon spawn in a month. GL on that though due to competition.
Also I would try mail in Chronos: TevasIn and FS Leader. If you are lucky they can sell you the Claws. My best guess is they won't sell them. But hé! You never know right! I think every item can be bought for the right price. ;)
game is dead, nobody is investing in this game like they used too. reason being is that gear doesnt matter as much as it used to due to scripts/cheating. gear only matters for pve so you might as well keep it.
