how to be a healer in these days

Did i miss something? why on earth do iss's keep begging for mana when they have more than 50% left? and I have another question why do these stupid fighters keep spamming skills on RB's, of course debuffs should be spammed but why to spam a zillion skills that have an unnoticeable effect? Is there something I dont know? maybe I'm a noob, but my rebirth doesnt have a 1 minute cooldown as most of the people think and I dont have 9999999k mana so i can recharge 3 idiotic othels that waste 6k mana each in 40 secs and I cant heal archers who like to tank standing still, first of all in this game if you dont have mobility u can just go shoot urself in the .... The last 4 days ive meet some ppl that absolutely have no clue on how to play their class, for example on fortuna i keep partying with some rejects that besides being 93+ in immortal armor with + 0 attribute they keep demanding their mana to be full, as if healing them isnt stressfull enough, honeslty the mobs do like 15% of hp dmg on me and they do like 60-70% on them. Am I the only one that finds these wastes of human flesh?
Ignorance of the key of success in case of:
- iss begging for mana while he has half full mana
- tyrr who burns mana 10x faster then Feoh
- Feoh who doesn't know what Ultimate Body To Mind means, or never use Wizard Spirit or Double Casting.
- othell who doesn't know what mana management is

And in case of powerful ranged DD who wants to tank: let's them die and dont ress them!
or immortal guys level 93+ with zero attribute: do the same, let's them die and dont ress them!

But before you do that, warn them, give them 1 chance to do better: tell them short and clear what to do.
The best is forming a CP becuase playing with randoms is random happiness or sorrow.
Wait till these fail tyrr read thier damage bar and find out if some of thier skills don't debuff the target then it also does zero damage like eruption and power bomber I think to mention a few
the only question I have is : How did these people managed to get 93+ without any proper gear and knowledge. Its probably my fault cause I accepted to make parties with these kinda players, the mentality stands like this: "ME NO NEED ARMOR AND ATTRIBUTE OR SA ON WEAPON, ME IS PRO", gets 1 shot than it turns into this : " WHY YOU NO HEAL ME NOOB HEALER, LE ALONE CAN TANK 500 MOBS AND KILL VALAKAS SOLO".
an enchanter who can't keep his mp up is spamming the wrong skills.
we've all done it. spammed aoe and single target skills on a target until our mp was next to nothing... it helps a lot to have talisman to provide mp regeneration and cost reduction... but a lot of people don't know they are even available. you don't even need a fort to get them, you can get them from teredor and spez.

i'm a terribad healer myself, but when in a party we usually manage ok... i suppose i am glad i haven't encountered as many fools as you seem to attract. i guess we as a people tend to attract a certain kind of people.
you're just stuck with the bad ones.

There are several possibilities:
1. They came from the Bots Land
2. They got their chars from RTM (they bought it)
3. They killed Valakas solo and jummped from level 1 to 93+ in a few minutes.
4. They are the youngest version of Conan the Barbarian: me OP me Immortal me smash!

FYI: I have seen lvl99 chars who could not use the teleport to go where they needed to be.
Well, since you asked.

1. How they get to 93 in crap gear and no clues: healers now have 100% rez, and they have the ability and persistence to keep asking for one until they get one.

2. Why they are so bad at managing their mp: Other healers think its their job to be some sort of mana battery for ppl smashing keyboards. It's not their job, or our job, but since they did it, you are now expected to do the same. How to stop this? Just stop recharging the idiots, and eventually this wont persist all the way to lvl 99.

As for ppl not being able to move, its ridiculous at times. I once had to push nuke an archer away from the boss, coz he was taking too much dmg in his crappy gear to remain there.

For the ppl with 0 element gear on dds, just ask the iss to give them knight, hopefully that can help a bit. And since you are already communicating with the iss, just tell him warrior is probably not helping him do his job much either :D

+1

I don't seem to have any problem with people running out of MP to be honest, maybe it's my level. I do tend to keep myself under 60-70% MP though, and keep non-nukers/tanks at around 20% mp to remind them they're wasting MP.

As for people with junk gear taking loads of damage, never been an issue unless it's somewhere like LoC. Just keep the DD who takes the least damage on target and prog heal , doesn't matter if a weak toon loses 20% hp or 70% hp it's usually healed back up instantly. As long as you don't needlessly spam balance heal it should be ready for panic situations, if they die then rez is 100% and they learn to take care.

bot, rmt, or not it comes down to game knowledge and a functioning brain.

Warriors that use anything other than armor destruction and attack at raids aren't doing a very good job tbh and great warriors can interrupt key raidboss skills possibly with a stun or knock back every once in a while...but their mp bar should always be full unless they are mentally ******ed.

Enchanters should only be using their two debuffs shadowblade and crippling attack with just attacking after that. Only using the mass versions of their skills if for some reason there are more than one raid monsters/minions...so their mana should always be full on default too.

The only classes that should be a pain in your *** are daggers (stabs do more damage than swings), archers with dex builds (see daggers), and nukers (duh).

If somehow a summoner is running out of mana at a raid instantly kick it.

My Eviscerator runs out of MP spamming nothing but Left and Right Sidesteps for gap closing, Lateral Hit for P.def reduction (not stacking), and the 3 self-buffs. u.u
My Eviscerator is almost always full mp. Not sure how you are able to run out of mp on that class really.

Its very easy on lower levels to drain all your mana. Awakened, I don't know how they would ever run out of MP.
#1 Tip: use /block %target

You cannot see any version of their chatting, including their chat bubble, so you can heal in peace and let them be out of mana, who cares. Just remember if they aren't really really bad, to unblock them later, because /block also blocks party invite.
^ It doesnt prevents party chat, though.

So they can whine all day long in the party chat.

I dont want to rise the bonfire, but now that I'm playing out of healer's scene more than before, I just realized how bad some healers are and how they simply don't give a d*mn to their personal improvement.

To avoid discrepancies and harsh feelings, I just bring with me all that may help, without transforming me into a beggar or a pt whiner: mp elixirs, talismans, event items, event cakes, my lovely 7-day baguette weapon (stocked bunch of them before) and so on.

Lol, some healers dont even care to hit the Brilliant Recharge once in a while.
@crappiest: I have several healers on several levels. And I can assure you this: players at higher level are more in some kind of compassionate silence mode.
For instance, in K85 I faced many times that a Tyrr was shouting for mana while his mana is half full.
In this case I said: your mana bar is half full, why you see it as half empty?
And other party members jumped on that Tyrr: shut up, your mana is half full!
I love that :).

But in K95 in a randoms party I heard mostly nothing: party members just did their things.
In other instances where only level 99 can enter, then I faced the other way around: party members do worry about my mana. They know that a healer can only heal or purge if he/she has mana ;).

So I would suggest the OP, crappiest, to level more and enjoy the silence or the care of the healer :D

Lower levels are fun, trolls are everywhere and you can troll them hard as healer lol.
You can troll them and have fun if you do have experience as healer.
But I can imagine that a brand new healer does have hard time in K85 for instance.

I dont know what level is the OP now, I am curious about his/her experience.
@crappiest: share with us what are your experience so far ;)
sometimes i find mp regen manageable until some idiot pulls a crap load of mobs in terador then asks for mp and heal at the same time im like nope **** off you idiot
Tonight in k85 an archer ran outta mp, never had that happen before, recharged it ofc he was *****in, but my main question is, do yall agree othells should use knight harmony in kartia? Their hp goes down crazy quick.
im a yul gs and had a bad experience last night on RB with a 99 healer.. i told him repeatedly about not to spent mp so much coz we can manage.. then the worst came.. run out mp and rebirth during a boss skill that any skill will no t effect (forgot the name) boom! party dead.. WTF!!!!

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Still havent done rb as healer yet just focusing on ****** k85 random partys til i get better, probably wont pvp til lvl 90 either

According to my own experience, K85 is the hardest instance and K95 is the most easy.
Why? Becuase players in K85 are mostly immortal players, they use event gears with no attributes :p
So Knight on paper othell is a good idea ;)

Or Celestial Party Protection on and then rebirth :eek::eek:
If they were too lazy, they shouldnt be using knight harmony, imo. Seriously, 3x60 is enoug to go, and anyone can farm it as soon he hits 85 and get some mentees. Also, element stones r hella cheap atm and they infuse 100% on armor.

@husdatyul, the party died 'cause the yul was being a lazy douch3 and the healer had no idea of what were his priorities, specially if his mana did go below 30% and he kept recharging the yul. In this situation, only 3 characters should be priorized: nuker (as they only hit if they have mana), othell and iss. Btw, if those 3 run out of mana often when there's still several minutes to the next rebirth, it's a clear signal to trash them as soon the boss is dead.
Stones are not 100% on armor.

They are 100% on seraph and eternal, not on twilight and immortal.

Elemented +8 Twilight heavy armor the other night.

Empirical data.

Go buy an armor and put 20 stones on it, there will be fails.
Never failed my stones on my tw set.
Smitties right, i failed on tw armor, thats the luck of an orc though

@Smittie, printscreen it or never happened. You know the rules.

only one set?

Wow, I guess you were luckier than most.

I'll see what I can do. Might have to go buy some more armors then.

Why should I buy more? I'm 99 and I don't need one... O.o
Playing only one toon?

I would get super bored :D
One toon is more than enough with my current playtime... I also have some 76-85 toons, all geared with immortal stuff, it's not like I play them often anyway.
