Doesn't matter. He still has to go through Level3 which is a BIG problem!
Nope, it's out of ISP's hands. It's a backbone CDN and is Level3's responsibility to fix it but I would "hope" that perhaps with so many people having to go through this DNS server, which is probably down the frigging street from NC's server, they'd look into the problem!!!

The change is that 10 weeks ago they had only 2 nodes hidden behind firewalls (which created additional lag) while you could still see packet loss numbers at the other nodes.
Now, they are just hiding the entire route, having probably put every node under a separate firewall so that it is impossible to see how many packets cannot get through Level3net.
No need to do that, your server machine sucks.
