After a senseless answer from the NCSOFT Support team over my statement that players are affecting the smooth gameplay buffing raid bosses all over the place becuase they feel that the RB are of their own property, i am starting this thread/poll to make NCSOFT understand that this needs to be removed ASAP, this is a trendy behavior nowadays and when a Support employee answer me to PK the character, it turns my rage on...
Why i have to ruin my character PKing others that eventually will keep on
coming indifinetelly amount of times and if you do that... they will just RESET it so you cant do it...
I dont feel that is the right answer from a development company to a functionality that is affecting the user experience and smooth gameplay.
1) Make it so you can delevel below 85 again.
2) Once you do, all skills are disabled.
3) Even better, make it so that if you go more than a few % below you lose ALL awakened skills and need to re learn them.
That way all these level 85.00 healers they use to buff raid bosses you can just kill. And they will need to come try and rez/brez them to continue or else go off to level and relearn skills again.
Even better if they have to re do part of the awakening quest once more.

Many times in fact. And aside from PUG raid groups with terrible people, we've always killed it unless they call down a bunch of heavy hitters to kill us while flagged.
I already told you how to deal with celest.
And if they use unbind/dasp, then use a non target AOE. Or tell the archer to force attack a person standing next to it with their AOE.
And yes, you can bring a second party. If the choice is:
a) get a bit less xp and split the drops.
or
b) get nothing.
Which makes more sense if you just aren't able to deal with it?
no i just want to remove the ability to buff Raid Bosses... i dont care about PVP while RBsing... i stated that before
Just cancel the boss and kill the healer. Celestial only lasts 8 seconds and can only be used once every 1.5 minutes. The game is already carebear enough without making it even more carebear.
If buffing was removed, people would just:
Spam marks and knockdown/stun on your healer until the party died.
Even easier... they'd just keep tapping the healer minions to break sleep.
More fun still they'd pull the raid away and reset it.

I have healed a raid while getting shadowchased constantly by 2 daggers. Not only did I never die, but I managed to kill those 2 dagger about 4 times each.
Knowing how the game works helps tons.
Now if you cant even get rid of a few buffs on your raid, then dont raid.
Or if you do raid, and someone buffs your raid, dont come crying here to change the game.

I dont care if you succeed or not the RB or if you had or not pvp in it, the fact is that buffing a RB is wrong cos you had to fall into that situation. If you have a war and those came to kill you, is fine, if you were flagged and someone came to steal it is fine, if you flagged and the RB pt was using AOES and they all flagged is fine, is even fine if someone comes and reset your RB...
IS NOT RIGHT that someone comes and BUFF your RB you kill it you flagg/pk and someone comes and ruin it, cos the root of the problem is that an ignorant came and ruin it using something that should not exist as an ability.

GG, again, i dont care what you did right or wrong, you are not showing me ANY FACT that Buffing a Raidboss is a correct behavior in game. It is not helping, it is not cooperative and most important is not providing any improvement to the game play.

So you are saying that an iss in lvl 90 that started to play this game 1 month ago, lets assume, will get less than that reuse time with his own buffs in lvl 2, using TW heavy set, istina shirt and no real jewells only event, this is a good scenario and real one for RB hunt 88/92/94. Lets add R Event duals? cos clearly or you purchase TW or you purchase your Duals, not discussion about a pair of top R duals.
Enlight us and tell us the amount of cooldown and the increased amount of sucess rate he will get, since apparently you have great knowledge about this topic that, again, will not fix the issue with the RAID BOSS buffing.

Yes pretty much every 5 minutes that the healer arrives again and buff it again and you only removed as max 3 buff only in the RB and you still have all the minions buffed.

To be honest buffing the raid boss should be allowed, due to several reason one if it's an open raid you fight for the boss so do anything possible to claim for ur clan. It allows you to slow the enemies down from killing it and allows ur clan to form up to try and take it away.
It shouldn't be bannable offense because it's been a known issue and everyone knows how to do it. If it was considered an exploit it should have been fixed but then again ncsoft still bans u for doing it. The way this game is ran is totally ****** and at the end ncsoft does not care. You get banned u make a new toon or quit. If you make a new toon ur gonna spend ncoin. Allowing ncsoft to profit. Ncsoft is the most corrupt business it makes me laugh and it happens in front of our eyes. For instance ncoins can now be bought in game from other players this is still consider RMT. But ncsoft doesn't care because they are making profit from it. But yet it's ok because they make there income. Let's not even go to there services, it blows completely. I got Keylogged 1 time and ncsoft would not unban the toon. And remains banned with a lot of good gear on it. But they don't care they don't have the patience for anything just want to collect there money and continue.
Game is going down hill from here reason u see a lot of players playing archeage. Ncsoft bs reviews they have always talks about giving players the best experience but let alone can't even achieve that in any way. But end of rant.

Skill cooldown gets reduced by 20% with wiz harmony, now pls do the math yourself since you're apparently set on the fact that "huehuehuehue mean healers buff my RBs and I can't cancel them, huehuehue".
By the way wiz harmony is a skill that EVERY Iss can afford, or are you telling me that you take buffers in without that buff?

Nope myself said that the ISS has his own buffs.. which means that it was obvius and i didnt mention it.
20% is not fixing anything at this point, the RB is still buffed...
Next offers? Im still winning this nobody is finding a way to remove this problem, PVP is not working PK is not working EVAS RUNE is not affordable for more than half of players, the skills is not removing buffs as fast as necessary...
Still trying to find someone with knowledge to solve the riddle here, so far, the ability removal is the only solution based on all the crap you mentioned so far
To be honest buffing the raid boss should be allowed, due to several reason one if it's an open raid you fight for the boss so do anything possible to claim for ur clan. It allows you to slow the enemies down from killing it and allows ur clan to form up to try and take it away.
It shouldn't be bannable offense because it's been a known issue and everyone knows how to do it. If it was considered an exploit it should have been fixed but then again ncsoft still bans u for doing it. The way this game is ran is totally ****** and at the end ncsoft does not care. You get banned u make a new toon or quit. If you make a new toon ur gonna spend ncoin. Allowing ncsoft to profit. Ncsoft is the most corrupt business it makes me laugh and it happens in front of our eyes. For instance ncoins can now be bought in game from other players this is still consider RMT. But ncsoft doesn't care because they are making profit from it. But yet it's ok because they make there income. Let's not even go to there services, it blows completely. I got Keylogged 1 time and ncsoft would not unban the toon. And remains banned with a lot of good gear on it. But they don't care they don't have the patience for anything just want to collect there money and continue.
Game is going down hill from here reason u see a lot of players playing archeage. Ncsoft bs reviews they have always talks about giving players the best experience but let alone can't even achieve that in any way. But end of rant.

I allow you to use 2 ISS boxes, you can have 2 PTS (14 players should do it right, cos you are SUPER PRO), no eva rune... just play as regular people do

Get several isses to cancel, feoh works aswell on higher levels, get a strong tank and possibly a 2nd party.
Cant sleep healers when they are buffed? get sleep attack rate jewelry.
Still cant sleep it? there are more ways to immobolize them, have a othell using shadow chase on wizard harmony, have a tank with silence.
Literally a thousand ways for you to fix your problem.

Well after hitting from 87 to 94 only by kartia and rbs 88 and 92 lvls,i can clearly say that,no one thinks about leaving the rb party,just because rb is buffed and so far i must have killed about 60x rbs with 2 party ccs,at least 40 of these rb's were buffed.

When we do raid, we always buff thte rb with Patk and atk speed, because we get good cc triggers from it.

After a senseless answer from the NCSOFT Support team over my statement that players are affecting the smooth gameplay buffing raid bosses all over the place becuase they feel that the RB are of their own property, i am starting this thread/poll to make NCSOFT understand that this needs to be removed ASAP, this is a trendy behavior nowadays and when a Support employee answer me to PK the character, it turns my rage on...

If you are trying to do single party raids with people that have gear THAT bad... then you deserve to get griefed away from the raid.
One party raids are for strong parties that can deal with the raid relatively quickly and move on.
They are not for people that sit there and struggle like hell to take forever before they finally kill it.
Get another party, kill them quicker, share the loot till both parties are strong enough to branch out on their own.
Help each other out, make some ISS alts and stuff. Get them all to 90, and you can start helping each other out with things like 1 party istina, and eventually doing octavis and balok with both parties.
Quite frankly, all the rage from notimetocry and windelemental is because they are doing it wrong and doggedly refusing to do it another way.

Anyway, I am against preventing raids from getting buffed. As some have said, if you want to gain something, you need to fight for it. It does make the game more interesting, not just another boring raid to farm. Not a routine.
However seeing how PK system got killed, I think sooner or later NCsoft will do something with this too.

I've read it all. And people are suggesting things. And then you and wind come back talking about people in crappy immortal gear, with maybe a few pieces of Twilight, and even some in event gear.
That's not me talking, that's directly from your side of things.
And when I suggested 2 parties, he specifically said no to it because, and I paraphrase here, "why should I get less XP from it by bringing more people?".

So good job indeed from people that are bound and determined to barely be able to struggle through raids as a single party, and therefore want it on easy mode when people who likely have a MUCH better party are trying to prevent them.
I said it before, single party raid kills are for parties that can handle that raid quickly and easily. They should be able to kill the raid fully buffed with minimal problems, let alone partially buffed.
That some really crappy parties can single party kill one sometimes is just timing being on their side, but it does not mean they are going to be able to do it every time, nor that they deserve to sometimes.
If a level 85 dagger gets a lucky string of half kills and takes down a level 99 pvp geared 16ap tank, does that mean all 85 daggers can kill tanks? No, it means he was lucky as hell and/or that tank was horrible.
What you guys are refusing to believe is that your "pro" raid group is not really ready to go out and kill bosses on their own. You did it a few times, and probably can continue to do so here and there. But instead of accepting the fact that you really need to step up your game and better gear/level your one party, or include a second, you come crying to everyone else about how unfair it is that your crappy little party isn't able to go around killing any raid in their level.
People buff raids because they know there are tons of parties like yours. Ones that can barely kill it, and those buffs can wipe you out. The new players just leave the game cos is way too hard/expensive and move to some other games.

From instances to open world 98+ bosses you will find, if you ever get there, that level 99's are going to be the absolute most common group of people in the game doing raids.
For raid points, for SP, for money, for gear.
And yes, they still have people trying to mess with their raids too. And often far more than just buffing it. Wait till you have a party + of 99 geared toons buffing, resetting, and trying to stun/disrupt your healer as well as making it so that if you flag you are dropped in an instant.
Your going to wish all you had to deal with was a single healer buffing the boss.
I've raided, and succeeded, under those conditions. And sometimes it fails, it happens. Either I come back with more people to deal with it and succeed, or it's called and we move onto something else.
This is L2, welcome and enjoy.
As for "hating it post GoD". I can't speak for everyone, but very little of the hate comes from the game itself. Only the gm "support" and the rampant bots and "assisted" pvp characters that are allowed to run free.
Likewise the blatant cash grab "events" are also problematic.
But things like this? This is part of the reason people loved the game in the first place. You want something, you have the capability to take it or you don't. If you are able to kill these bosses despite peoples attempts to stop you, don't complain, be glad you overcame those odds and move along to the next challenge.

That is something else entirely, and you will find no disagreement from me that NCsoft has screwed the economy badly. But there are limited numbers of raids. And far more people trying to do them.
So those who have the capability of killing them, despite the obstacles in the way, get to reap the rewards. New players or not, that's always going to be the case.

Again, people lvl 99 who raid does not encounter the problems that people 88/93-95 encounter man. Your gear is always superior and you can manage the deal due to your items and APs if any. Is a complete different world, anyway the RB buff should not happen there either.

Those are all instanced bosses. They have no contest for getting them. So it's apples/oranges.
But there was a time when there were bosses that were open like that, and guess what. Been there, done that.
When Baium was a top level boss I've been there when it was full hp healed by an enemy clan several times. It took a lot of time and teamwork to finally pull the healer inside far enough to no longer be able to get a res. We killed it.
I've been in PvP for contested bosses where I've won, and ones where I've lost.
I've had to fight baddies inside anthy and valakas when you could both port in up until the boss showed.
All of this stuff you're complaining about? All that and WAY more, and far worse many of us have been through dozens of times over. And we enjoyed the drama of it. They wanted to make you fail, and despite the odds you still succeeded.
Was a ton of fun, and not something to complain about.

Again, people lvl 99 who raid does not encounter the problems that people 88/93-95 encounter man. Your gear is always superior and you can manage the deal due to your items and APs if any. Is a complete different world, anyway the RB buff should not happen there either.

Level 99's die to many of the 98+ raids just as easy as the 8x people do to 8x raids. Many of them hit hard, and will mow down the wrong class getting aggro very easily. And when you have a tank perma marked by several summoners, they aren't going to be up that long, especially if the healer isn't on the ball and gets stunned/lifted or otherwise taken out of the picture at the wrong time.
Not everyone is 99/99 with 16ap and ++++ dark or bloody gear.
Most of the bigger clans also have at least one set of war tags as well. So it's pretty easy to get some people around that can just straight up kill you without you flagging as well. Some of them + others that are not war tags, and you can make raids miserable/impossible very easy. Which is why they need to kill them quickly.
Those raids are a resource, and people try and control them tightly. Sometimes its entire clans, sometimes it's a single party. But they are fought over pretty consistently.

Those are all instanced bosses. They have no contest for getting them. So it's apples/oranges.
But there was a time when there were bosses that were open like that, and guess what. Been there, done that.
When Baium was a top level boss I've been there when it was full hp healed by an enemy clan several times. It took a lot of time and teamwork to finally pull the healer inside far enough to no longer be able to get a res. We killed it.
I've been in PvP for contested bosses where I've won, and ones where I've lost.
I've had to fight baddies inside anthy and valakas when you could both port in up until the boss showed.
All of this stuff you're complaining about? All that and WAY more, and far worse many of us have been through dozens of times over. And we enjoyed the drama of it. They wanted to make you fail, and despite the odds you still succeeded.
Was a ton of fun, and not something to complain about.
PVP / PK.. WARS is completely fine... HEALING RB like Baium long ago, i suffered that and i complained about that in the same way im doing right now and that ABILITY does not exist any more... and i faces the same amount of trolling.

Asin, if you get the RB reseted is PVP/PK and we are not complaining about it, Buffing it is something completely different like Healing was... you want to reset it go ahead try it... but you cant deal with the healer buffing the rb due to the skills to debuff and the speed of buffing + skills on healer that prevent you to do anything.

You see it as something that you want removed. You want a more equal playing field. L2 isn't an equal playing field. The "minority" as you put it shouldn't matter to you. When, in fact, it's all about who is able to do things.
Not everyone can do any given boss. Sometimes due to gameplay reasons, IE: They don't have the numbers or the damage. Other times due to availability. You just aren't the first to get to it and be able to kill it.
In all of these cases the players can choose to try and rectify their deficiencies, or not.
The ones who decide to do so go on to do better things. They work on their level, their gear, their numbers, their organization. Whatever it is.
And they adapt, they overcome, and they succeed.
Then there are people who just think the game needs to be changed.
Now, don't get me wrong. There are times things are legitimately broken. Trasken used to be broken and was literally unkillable here for awhile.
The new nightmare kama is broken in terms of effort/reward.
But this is something that is purely a matter of player vs player dedication.
Can you overcome that person/parties/clans desire to keep you from killing that raid... or no?

Just to put this out there. I've killed every single boss in this game, or been part of the force that did it.
Every field boss that has ever, and currently does, exist. From the old "area" boss mobs that used to exist, to the current field raids, to the summonable raids from the altars (both the ones you used to be able to summon, and the current ones).
This includes every epic, in almost every incarnation. (I didn't play during some updates, and a couple no one could kill the dragons for quite awhile).
This includes every instanced boss that has, and does, exist right now as well.
Every last one of them, including lindvior.
So yeah, I've never killed any bosses in this game, nope. You obviously have more experience than anyone else here, even when you're complaining about something that is a trivial issue for any serious raid party.
Know what happens when a raid I'm killing gets buffed? One of more people laugh and say, "not for long" and the buffs magically start to vanish because the iss is not terrible, and at least 2 people tend to box at least one additional iss to help it go faster.
But go ahead, keep being terrible at the game and wanting it to change instead of learning how to roll with the changes. I guarantee you something else will happen at some update or another that will piss you off as well.
Guys this is not for people who CAN do Buffed RBs is for people who CANT do them cos they dont have the fire power to do it and is unfair for them that are trying to grow.
You are in a confortable position so you dont care, but there are others out there hundreds that are trying to grow to reach you place that need this.
The solution you propose is GET USED TO IT OR LEAVE THE GAME, where my solution is couple of hours of development maintenance to fix something that will help NEW PLAYERS to reach something in game instead of QUITTING.
This will also help NCSOFT profits as well as we will have a bigger community and probably less bots since you have more chances to grow PLAYING instead of the computer playing with you.

Servers are full of noobtards. Cheaters, botters, PKers that speak here about killing bots but instead of that they run across fishing territories and kill chars that fish (since fishing update got killed 15 times), and if u go to Heine u can be banned because of huge bot spams and mails, like already hapened to some players. Now we have boss buffers.

Problem here is people with inferior party, level, gear, support, skill trying to lay claim to an open field boss. You dont deserve to kill them just cause you showed up. So much QQ in this thread its un real. L2 players of today are total panty waste, whining, care bears. **** you dont like a game mechanic cause it dosent suit you, lets go QQ on the forums and have it changed to make my farming easier. I been out for some time due to work travel, i came here and i see that there are more players that share my opinion about this problem than the ones that trolls it.

Yesterday, some ******o came and buffed Typheron. We were unnable to do it, we end up all dead, one hour ago another pt tried to do it again, same thing happened, 2 hours later another pt, completely different ppl, buffed again, last time i went cos i was beyond ******... SAME thing again.... AND YES WE USED MULTIPLE ISSES WITH CANCEL. The second time we had 3 Isses plus the one in the main PT.
The RaidBoss was there the whole day, buffed, nobody was able to kill it, i called some 99/99 cap AP players to help me with the moron the last time, the guys tryed to stop him, they were not able to stop the buffing... or debuff it ... even going pk, it was a darn blood bath, not fun for anybody, exept the di.ck who buffed it.
Two days ago we went to Faeron for an app stone lvl 88.... 1/4 hp...a moron came BUFFED IT and RESETED IT. The dude who summoned it used a lot of adena for that, the RB a fail of course, and nobody was able to do it, it failed till it vanished.

I remember petitioning this issue when the healer buffing did not flag and NC said the game was working as intended, and I was very upset. But now that the healer flags to grief, all is as it should be.
If you want to raid with one party, you are vulnerable to getting griefed. That one lv 85 healer can do it is frustrating, yes, but if you want to pve in peace, stick to the instances. Open field raids are ripe for pvp and griefing, it's what keeps people addicted to this game, the frustration and rage, and wanting even more to overcome your adversity.
Jesus H Christ. Whining about being hassled at raids? People have become spoiled with instanced raids. Balls I remember being hassled at Lilith and having to PVP for that right to kill her or being ready as soon as she spawns before she was updated.
Even Zaken many moons ago could erupt in pvp or harassment. The point is that Raids are intended to be special in the game, takes multiple people to do them, the rewards are potentially high so yes therefore I think it IS fair to compete for them. Buffing them is a way to compete, if you can't handle that and kill it and your harassers then you need to rethink how you are doing the raids.
I can't believe that it's come down to changing game mechanics for the sake of getting what you want easily. I am by no means saying this to troll you either. This game has ALWAYS been built on the aspect of PVP. You can't 100% skip on your merry way through this game and expect to NEVER have to compete for something. The mentality that some of the players have developed as to what they expect to happen in this game is sad. Given there are some crap things going on,this is not it.
Jesus H Christ. Whining about being hassled at raids? People have become spoiled with instanced raids. Balls I remember being hassled at Lilith and having to PVP for that right to kill her or being ready as soon as she spawns before she was updated.
Even Zaken many moons ago could erupt in pvp or harassment. The point is that Raids are intended to be special in the game, takes multiple people to do them, the rewards are potentially high so yes therefore I think it IS fair to compete for them. Buffing them is a way to compete, if you can't handle that and kill it and your harassers then you need to rethink how you are doing the raids.
I can't believe that it's come down to changing game mechanics for the sake of getting what you want easily. I am by no means saying this to troll you either. This game has ALWAYS been built on the aspect of PVP. You can't 100% skip on your merry way through this game and expect to NEVER have to compete for something. Well...tbh , i'm fine with this kind of competition , i mean...epic rbs spawns and you hurry up and pvp for kill it , that's ok.
But is ****** cancer*** when randoms ******s come and buff RBs for no reason , lately in naia it's impossible to make RB in gludio or dark elven , 'because clan Ancients and NovaChrysalia bring their bots and full buff rbs so randoms who wants to xp wont make it...this is senseless! and ofc , since it's already hard to make pts , having such troubles with yolo idiots going afk in bot during raid doesn't help at all.
I mean , as far as i care those bots of gya86/igaspero/snepai buffing raids can die of cancer , i wish they will , but ruining RBs to random is stupid :)
Sooo i guess removing the chance to buff RBs will be quite helpfull , if you can't kill a raid or you simply don't want to , why should you bother randoms at all? just kill urself and let the others play :D

I feel happy,after i kill a boss.I feel a lot more happy,while i'm kill a boss.But,just because a noobtard wanted to have fun with his nonsense,i am unable to feel the entertainment of killing the boss.I just wait for the boss to die to be able to maybe smile again and hope for next boss to be fun maybe.The noobtard makes me sad to feel happy himself and one-shotting him for '' 1 '' pvp point,just is not enough to settle the score.I need to make him sad to be happy myself again.Since,the noobtard doesn't feel sad when he is dead,instead laughs even harder,i am condemned to be sad untill the boss is dead.
He should give a payback for his making me sad,for me to feel happy again or he shouldn't be able to make me sad in the first place.
I feel happy when I buff your boss. I feel a lot more happy when I see your party dead on the ground from a buffed boss.
But just because some noobtard wants to cry on the forum about nonsense, I am unable to feel the entertainment I once felt.
Do I not have the same right to feel happy as you? Why should I have to apologize to you for having some fun?
Bottom line. If you cant handle someone buffing your raid boss, or disappointment in general, avoid doing things that will make you disappointed.

OMG,necromancers and that idiot thought i was absent,trying to take advantage from it.What a loser lol,all that futile efforts to seem cute for others.I kill at least 3 bosses a day,with only 1 party.Even if a noobtard tries to buff or reset it,doesn't matter,no one could make us fail and you non-factor can't even cause a problem.Stop talking out of your stomach full of crap.
On the other hand,i 've never seen anyone succeeding against my two healers fully buffing and reseting bosses.In either way if removed or not i'm always the victor,but you non-factor sucking up to others are nothing but a stupid wannabe trying to gain approval on a forum board all day by coming up with copied cliches.

did it to all raids and farmed them all nicely 1 by 1 not even the cupcakes from DH with ******* managed to see the raid =)
only reason u get interupted is cus some1 logged in to check if raid is on or not if yes he wanna kill it and will annoy living **** out of you if not he delogs and logs next alt.

It was subversively clearly stated that Naia server has a special kind of r*tarded ppl. Not discuss about it.
Obviously, there might be exception, although I have no idea who could it be.
After a senseless answer from the NCSOFT Support team over my statement that players are affecting the smooth gameplay buffing raid bosses all over the place becuase they feel that the RB are of their own property, i am starting this thread/poll to make NCSOFT understand that this needs to be removed ASAP, this is a trendy behavior nowadays and when a Support employee answer me to PK the character, it turns my rage on...
Why i have to ruin my character PKing others that eventually will keep on
coming indifinetelly amount of times and if you do that... they will just RESET it so you cant do it...
I dont feel that is the right answer from a development company to a functionality that is affecting the user experience and smooth gameplay.
