In the last days have a lot of bots in game. If you explore zones (Ketra) see maybe 30 or 40 bots, but it append in all places!!! cant take experience. This is normal?
the situation is simple - people launching the bot program, exping, when (IF) they got banned they log another char ... repeat
hit their goal for the bot - log another char ... repeat
sadly this is just the beginning, endgame are much worse "bots" .. it's like humans with supernatural speed, thinking, eyes .. stuff :D
The recent ban hammer on these roaches was great, but from what I see in game and read on a few sites the ban wave seems to be over. Guess I'll go back to picking up left behind loot. The bots really do seem to win every time, sad.

Man do u think the guys who use bot care about low lvls area? or care for litle bots ? In 1 day they will make again and they will put it there again. So if u want do rly something go check the pvp scripters and ban they mains toons not the box who they can lvl up in 1 day with bot way , check in big raids , valakas antharas earth wyrm lindvior , check baium qa orfen , check GAINAK . And about pvp scriptes CHECK IN EVERY SIEGE , and check in most pvp area atm (parnasus).
his right valy, you can start making olympiad, and coming to to watch any seage or dimensional seage, you can have the funn of lagg, for more bad publicity that thous so callead legit declared by Ncsoft, thats haw the say, disturb the server and ruin thous events, by forcing others to leave this game. sure last night someone on naia killed bots in blody swamp. God job, but att 2 am were 5 partyes up and runing in the same spot were you kiled the last 1s:))

bots are everywhere,when someone starts a thread about one spot then they all come screaming about every other area or basically every area in the game.
Ban them, they make more accounts. Rinse and repeat
I hope no one is trying to XP or do quests in Varka Silenos Outpost. It's not going to happen. They are like roaches on an old crust of bread out there. Probably 5 to every monster. PKing them does no good. the script they use just sends them right back to the buffer then gatekeeper and back at it. This undoubtedly HAS to be their only source of income as they never give up. On the bot forums they are asking each other when the mass ban is going to be over and if it is over yet. Some have lost full parties of 97+ toons, yet they still make more. I have yet to make a toon over 92 legit. I never party with anyone I don't know because of the botters. I don't want to be in a party with a bot and get banned. I really do not understand what they are doing in the same spot for months at a time. Doesn't seem productive to me. Level 76 spots dropping 60 to 100 or less just don't make sense, yet, there they are for months. I keep thinking they are in rotation but I screenshot names and go back weeks later and there they still are. I just don't get it I guess.

Someone did the math on this (yes that's nuts) but they still make adena running 24/7. Even if they cleaned out the inventories every 12 hours and got banned at some point they just create new bot trains and doesn't take long for them to be right back there.
There is no permanent solution to this problem so it's the same cycle repeated.
I can't believe that Vali can't see this online and proceed with the ban.
Furthermore, developers could embed in the client code, some mechanisms to detect this type of behavior that can not be done by a real person.
automatically the game client itself is able to realize automatic ban or, more safely, signal to the GM that this is a potentially suspicious character.
There are other ways to detect use of software controlling the game client. Certainly the NCSoft engineers are very competent and could develop that kind of control.
NCSoft, I just posted this video because the rudeness of how the bot kept online in the city for hours, making the same movements exactly the same place.
GMs should do a test and remove free teleports overall. Pking bots would then be usful as each time they'd return to the hunting area they would burn their stored adena to the point where they wouldnt teleport anymore. Bots in town would be better than bots running around the hunting areas imo.
I see at least 2 or 3 bots per day when lvling lowbie toons. A lot fewer at higher levels, but there are bots at higher level areas too.
They are in Forsaken Plains, Magmeld areas, Fields of Massacre, Aligator Island and many more areas. Basically you can expect them in all the steel door coin quest areas and most likely in areas that have over 100 adena drops per "easy" kill. There are whole parties of either auto-assist bots where only one party member is a player, solo or full bot groups.
It is obvious, for example the waves I've met in Varkas outpost, you see 3 people running for the same mob while one other "person" is fighting it, the second the monster falls, they instantly all turn to a new monster.
Some run towards a monster even if you are fighting it, and if you kill it before they are close, they will walk up and try and pick items, waiting for the loot protection to end, then they keep going.
Some run towards what you are fighting until you land your first hit, then they switch target instantly.
It is often obvious, though some players keep an eye on their bot. Their movement give them away still, but they try and pretend they aren't using a bot program by coming back to the keyboard as soon as a player interfere or seem too curious.
I could go on, for long, about suggested approaches to detecting and so forth but I am not in the mood :p

A better death penalty debuff that makes the bots too weak if they come back over and over. Then have the only two ways to take it off being that you have to pay an Priest NPC adena or wait for about 15 minutes.
