Okay, so I love over enchanting low-grade weaps and I've gotten addicted to it. It's challenging... it's fun... and it provides a nice steady income. For the last week I've noticed that over enchanting the easiest melee weaps has gone to hell and was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this. I mean when you blow 4 in a row something ain't right with this picture. And please don't give me that "you've hit an unlucky streak" stuff. I've been doing this for awhile now and keep a journal of the weapons I over enchant so I'm able to watch and monitor trends etc. It's not losing the adena that bothers me. It's more the time it takes to get them to +12 or so and I'm curious as to what's going on here.

All server with Pandora Box = lot of DEWR and DEAR. Just accept, ncsoft put a lower % for sucess at momment. :P
Hi Shar, JointVenture here. I think there has definitely been a change in the success rate. I failed on 12 in a row BEAR WITH lucky stone. So 66.6% chance of success (33.3% chance failure) and add 20% to success rate and it fails 12 times in a row??? I think with the influx of Enchants from Pandora Box and Gamblers Box must have had some impact on the success rate. You are NOT imagining it!!

OMG Joint, that must've been painful! The other night I failed 9 out of 19 attempts! Even when I first started and didn't know squat about over enchanting weaps I had a better success rate than this. Funny thing is, that same night my +5 Spec Retrib went to +6 using a BHG Lucky Stone and BEWR. WEIRD!! I wish Juji would chime in on this.

You realize that those scrolls only work on R grade stuff, right?
AFAIK Juji is currently in a business trip in Korea, he won't be chiming in anytime soon.
