I reinstalled L2 after a few year hiatus can't login, keep getting gameguard 1014 and 620 issues. I've added L2 bin and game guard to exceptions in avg, i've deleted gameguard and repaired the files I'm not sure what else to do.
Its not u or L2 but the GG. The new updates for windows killed GG... here is what u can do:
I)Go and uninstall this update: KB3008923 manually or do as follow:
1) open cmd
2) wusa /uninstall /kb:3008923 /quiet /norestart
II)Start the game from here /system/L2.exe
III)W8 few days till the guys behind GG fix the problem
EDIT: This will happen every single time whenever there is a security update for IE, so i think L2 support should create a Sticky topic, create a *bat file and change the #s so ppl can download and just double click it.
I keep getting blue screen since last third maintenance.Happens random times,when i alt+tab,click exit,teleport ... It was ok for a year suddenly started 3 maintenance ago and i even reinstalled windows.Nothing helped me.
After every bsod,i also get a gameguard error for once when i try launch game.
i've got even worse problems then not being able to log into the game, the account verification is ****** up like big time. I can't put in my email addresses to make the login name or whatever its called, or the emails I try It says choose another one even though theyre not linked to any accounts.
Also now its stuck on some kinda email verification loop I've even made new emails and its giving me some kind of error.. and tells me to contact customer support, but all they do is reset my password to the account and it sends me back to the verification problem... /facepalm
To top it off this is the only account i'm able to post on the forums on and apparently it was an offshoot of my aion account and not my 2 L2 accounts... So theres no lineage 2 characters on it but its taking up the L2 slot. Sigh i liked it better when it was NCPLAY accounts when you had a master account and sub accounts branched off it, not this 1 game per email ******** they shoved down our throats.. sigh..
Can't play cause of gameguard errors and can't verify emails because of errors on that website. Doing a great job of bringing old players back NCsoon. Guess I'll play some more dragon age inquisition while I try to figure this cluster **** out.
