Since the player who works at burger king ($7.25) cannot compete fairly with the player that works at microsoft ($150,000+/year), is there any relevance anymore in regards to "fair competition" or are we all supposed to submit to "life's not fair" therefore the "game is not fair"?
Biggest complaints thus far is, Brooch+Jewels, Shiny Shirts ($350+ venture), ability to pay for vitality, runes, maintenance pots, basically buy l2 store items that easily convert into adena that usually priced around $50USD = 1billion after you sell off the items (conspiracy? check l2store).
Rewards for spending $1,000 of dollars via hero coins. ($1,000=DivineEWR)
(a house $$$$= Rulers Authority).
Where does all this money go that is put into l2 store? Do we have the right to know? Is any of it going towards improving l2, or making l3?
As if that's not enough the fact still remains that more and more players just simply cheat script/bot at the game so bad without consequence until they are caught "red-handed" and reported enough, even so when a player is caught that doesn't mean they will get banned.
I know there is a poster on the forum that says "ohh well you know it's pay2win and if you can't afford to compete, tough beans"...
Yes, we are aware, and does it make us hate this game more than ever and want to quit it yes, but why should we.
It's a shame because this game would had been more successful if it stayed non-pay2win, not so many people would had quit l2. Some pvpers feel it's not worth more than $15 a month to spend on this game, and therefore they couldn't compete on a top-tier scale where they once stood so they were forced to leave. Pathetic.
What ever happened to obtaining items you can get from the l2 store from game as well, aside from the aesthetic items that no one cares about.

I hear this a lot...but the raid/quest content in l2 is just awful compared to other mmos, if you aren't playing this game for pvp then why are you playing it?

It's common understanding that to be someone able to stand in PvP atm, you need to cash out from L2Store like a cheap h*oker working for her living.
Lowbies cant stand a chance. Ppl in seraph cant stand a chance. Ppl in low clans cant stand a chance. Poor ones cant even xp properly, while we considerer xp'ing as a PvE aspect, lol. And on top of all this, it comes the cheating, the scripting, the programming and the clan hopper'ing.
So what's the point to call someone a PvP'er if he isnt willing/cant to get over all these obstacles above?
But I agree on the quest/raid part being so diminished and degraded with the past updates. I truly miss the enjoyment of doing long history-related quest like the FoD's quest series, or the 7 sign's one, or the MoS quest, old Pagan one, even the old noblesse quest and many others you could pick up without being hammered by the daily instance routine as we have now.

There's tons of people that will, quite frankly, never have to know what poverty is. Hard times for them might be settling for a Lexus over a Jaguar, or skipping a new car this year because their stocks didn't pull in quite as much.
Now, that isn't to say people can't put in work in this game to do better. But those just starting fresh are at a significant disadvantage in this game unless they are pumping some serious real life money into it.
PvP is still relevant as there are still bosses and areas that are worthwhile to go to and get things that are needed. Once you get 99 you may have the Dim Warp to be awesome... but until then the dailies are going to be very, very, very slow to XP in.

With play his game you need 1st to have fun to play and 2nt to you compare with yourself form y-day, to learn how to play more good and time what you invest in your char to be good investition for you. If you not learn to play more and more good your char and just qq why others have good items from you is not good. I have 0 real money invest in game and that will sty for forever. I play with my fingers in pixels, advantage what legal rtm give, nc store items and other stuffs what give is maybe more good. (for nonlegal stuffs i not even like to talk) but if you like to be real and if you like to play to see what is your real end game possibility you need to pick hardest way. Easy way is for naabs who instead the will be pro with items they will stop play so easy because they in that run to be pro forget the this is MMORPG and if you are noting if you not have ppl around you. You alone with your items and your bots are just losers and NC like losers, they need to get salary from your....
I will lake to have money what some ppl invest here, i not talk for 100-200$/month that is noting. Some ppl invest 1000+$ and they play active almost 24/7 for years... With 1000+$/m instead to you play 24/7 w/o social live you may easy every month go in other world destination in weekend with your love/family (Paris, NY, London, Dubai, Vegas...) and pass all world instead to every weekend wait Oly/CS/DS... to up your e-p enis how is big together with your red weapon...

1) NCSoft is a company that works for $$ and not charity. Since game is free to play the best customer is the one that pays them more. So dont use the term fair cause it actually says nothing.
2) if you came in l2 and think i am a skillfull player i should win yet others have $$ or bots or whatever so plz NC do something you have already lost.
3)if you came in l2 and want to be top without investing time and effort or $$ or be illegal you are also wrong.
4) if you came to l2 and think its your privilage to have as much as others have spent years to gather you are wrong.
5) If you dont enjoy the game through all its extend and think that you will enjoy it at the end when you are top, i can asure you that you are up for a BIG surprice.
There are ppl that have spent many many hours in game doing their best, grinding, pvping, playing with market and they are actually very very good at it. Some could easily top the toppers yet you might never see videos of them or see them hero or etc.
If you expect yourself to compete with the top players and participate in that kind of pvp you must be ready to pay the price may it be time and effort or $$ or be Illegal or some combination of the above. If you are not up for the above dont expect much.
